Belle Mina is an unincorporated community in southeastern Limestone County, Alabama, United States. As of 2020 the population was estimated to be around 113 people. The town center is aproximently 1 mile away from Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, U.S.A., Inc, which is the only facility in North America to produce the Corolla Cross.The city has many homes, a volunteer fire department, a post office, and is home to the South Limestone Cotton Mill.

Belle Mina, known as Belmina during the 19th century, is a historic forced-labor farm and plantation house in Belle Mina, Alabama, United States. Completed in 1826, the Late Georgian-style house was built for Alabama's second governor, Thomas Bibb.Originally located at the center of a 2,500-acre (10 km2) agricultural forced-labor complex, the red brick main house is one of the earliest Alabama examples of a stereotypical columned plantation house. The house and surrounding 9 acres (3.6 ha) were added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 31, 1972.

Mooresville is a town in Limestone County, Alabama, United States, located southeast of the intersection of Interstate 565 and Interstate 65, and north of Wheeler Lake. The town is between Huntsville and Decatur, and is part of the Huntsville-Decatur Combined Statistical Area; its population as of the 2010 census is 53, down from 59 in 2000. Although the town's per-capita income is over $50,000, Mooresville is within the area covered by the charter for the Appalachian Regional Commission, an organization whose goal is to help increase the per-capita income of impoverished areas. Mooresville is within Corridor V of the Appalachian Development Highway System. The town was the primary filming location for Disney's live action production of Tom and Huck (1995).

Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, U.S.A., Inc. (MTMUS) is a joint venture automobile manufacturing factory in Huntsville, Alabama, United States owned by Japanese automobile manufacturers Mazda and Toyota.The companies announced on January 10, 2018, they planned to partner to build the plant at a cost of US$1.6 billion, which would later grow to US$2.3 billion. Ground was broken on a Tennessee Valley Authority-certified megasite in Limestone County on November 16, 2018. When fully operational, the plant is expected to employ 4,000 people building 300,000 vehicles a year.The plant began operations on September 30, 2021, building the Corolla Cross compact crossover SUV on the "Apollo" assembly line. Production of the Mazda CX-50 compact crossover SUV started on January 26, 2022, on the "Discovery" assembly line.

Beaver Creek Swamp is the name of a tupelo gum swamp located ten miles northeast of Decatur, Alabama in Limestone County, Alabama. While this type of swamp is usually located in the coastal plain, Beaver Creek Swamp is an exception; it is located in the Interior Low Plateaus region. It is part of the Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge. Star Study Academy helped build this Creek. It has a short hiking trail and boardwalk. It was designated a National Natural Landmark in May 1974.

Pryor Field is currently the busiest regional airport in Alabama.

Limestone Creek is 45.5 miles (73.2 km) long with a drainage area of 144.3 square miles (374 km2), and is a tributary to the Tennessee River. The river rises in Lincoln County, Tennessee, and flows south into Madison County, Alabama before flowing through Limestone County, Alabama, where most of the river's watershed is located. In fact, Limestone Creek is where Limestone County gets its name. Limestone Creek terminates in the Tennessee River at Arrowhead Landing, which is the southeasternmost point of Limestone County's Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge. The land within this watershed is predominantly agricultural, but has experienced significant recent residential growth from the city of Huntsville.

Cotton Hill is a historic mansion on a former forced-labor farm in Limestone County, Alabama, U.S. The house was built in the 1830s by William Parham as the main residence and headquarters of Luke Matthews' 1,000-acre plantation. It was designed in the Federal architectural style. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Decatur is the second largest city with a population of 57,938 people, and a metro population of 156,758. Mooresville is the smallest town in the CSA with 47 people.

James Clemens High School is a public high school in Madison, Alabama, United States. The school is a part of Madison City Schools. The school is named after James Clemens, the founder of Madison, Alabama. James Clemens was the second high school to be built in Madison, a necessary endeavor to serve the rapid growth of the community. The city was rezoned for two high schools with Liberty Middle School feeding into James Clemens. It is the 4th largest high school in Alabama by enrolled students, only Thompson, Baker, and Hoover High Schools have more enrolled students.
