Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, U.S.A., Inc. (MTMUS) is a joint venture automobile manufacturing factory in Huntsville, Alabama, United States owned by Japanese automobile manufacturers Mazda and Toyota.The companies announced on January 10, 2018, they planned to partner to build the plant at a cost of US$1.6 billion, which would later grow to US$2.3 billion. Ground was broken on a Tennessee Valley Authority-certified megasite in Limestone County on November 16, 2018. When fully operational, the plant is expected to employ 4,000 people building 300,000 vehicles a year.The plant began operations on September 30, 2021, building the Corolla Cross compact crossover SUV on the "Apollo" assembly line. Production of the Mazda CX-50 compact crossover SUV started on January 26, 2022, on the "Discovery" assembly line.

Beaver Creek Swamp is the name of a tupelo gum swamp located ten miles northeast of Decatur, Alabama in Limestone County, Alabama. While this type of swamp is usually located in the coastal plain, Beaver Creek Swamp is an exception; it is located in the Interior Low Plateaus region. It is part of the Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge. Star Study Academy helped build this Creek. It has a short hiking trail and boardwalk. It was designated a National Natural Landmark in May 1974.

Woodside was a historic residence in Belle Mina, Alabama. The land on which the house was built was originally part of Alabama Governor Thomas Bibb's estate, Belle Mina. Thomas' son, Porter Bibb, built Woodside in 1861 for his daughter, Mary Chambers Bibb. The two houses stood one-half mile (1 km) apart. Woodside was a two-story Greek Revival house, originally with a central, double-height portico that was extended to the full width of the façade in the early 1900s. The house has a center-hall plan, with two rooms on either side of a hallway on both floors. The rear of the house was originally a pair of one-story wings, but a second story was added in an early 20th-century renovation. Greek Revival details continued inside the house, such as mantels and architrave-framed panels in the stairwell. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. Woodside was destroyed by a fire in late November 2022.

Belle Mina is an unincorporated community in southeastern Limestone County, Alabama, United States. As of 2020 the population was estimated to be around 113 people. The town center is aproximently 1 mile away from Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, U.S.A., Inc, which is the only facility in North America to produce the Corolla Cross.The city has many homes, a volunteer fire department, a post office, and is home to the South Limestone Cotton Mill.

Belle Mina, known as Belmina during the 19th century, is a historic forced-labor farm and plantation house in Belle Mina, Alabama, United States. Completed in 1826, the Late Georgian-style house was built for Alabama's second governor, Thomas Bibb.Originally located at the center of a 2,500-acre (10 km2) agricultural forced-labor complex, the red brick main house is one of the earliest Alabama examples of a stereotypical columned plantation house. The house and surrounding 9 acres (3.6 ha) were added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 31, 1972.

Mooresville is a town in Limestone County, Alabama, United States, located southeast of the intersection of Interstate 565 and Interstate 65, and north of Wheeler Lake. The town is between Huntsville and Decatur, and is part of the Huntsville-Decatur Combined Statistical Area; its population as of the 2010 census is 53, down from 59 in 2000. Although the town's per-capita income is over $50,000, Mooresville is within the area covered by the charter for the Appalachian Regional Commission, an organization whose goal is to help increase the per-capita income of impoverished areas. Mooresville is within Corridor V of the Appalachian Development Highway System. The town was the primary filming location for Disney's live action production of Tom and Huck (1995).

The Huntsville-Decatur-Albertville, AL Combined Statistical Area is the most populated sub-region of North Alabama, and is the second largest Combined Statistical Area in the State of Alabama after Birmingham. The Huntsville-Decatur-Albertville CSA had a total of 879,315 people in 2022 and ranks 68th in the country.The CSA is situated along the Tennessee River, and is made up of two separate metropolitan areas (Decatur and Huntsville) and 3 Micropolitan areas ( Albertville, Fort Payne, and Fayetteville) that are usually referred to as one. The Decatur MSA, Albertville µSA, and Fort Payne µSA are south of the Tennessee River and the Huntsville MSA and Fayetteville µSA are north of it. Significant cities included in the CSA include Albertville, Arab, Athens, Boaz, Decatur, Fayetteville, Fort Payne, Guntersville, Hartselle, Huntsville, and Madison, as well as DeKalb, Lawrence, Limestone, Lincoln, Madison, Marshall, and Morgan counties. Huntsville is the largest city in the area with a population of 215,006 people, and a metro population of 502,728. Decatur is the second largest city with a population of 57,938 people, and a metro population of 156,758. Mooresville is the smallest town in the CSA with 47 people.

James Clemens High School is a public high school in Madison, Alabama, United States. The school is a part of Madison City Schools. The school is named after James Clemens, the founder of Madison, Alabama. James Clemens was the second high school to be built in Madison, a necessary endeavor to serve the rapid growth of the community. The city was rezoned for two high schools with Liberty Middle School feeding into James Clemens. It is the 4th largest high school in Alabama by enrolled students, only Thompson, Baker, and Hoover High Schools have more enrolled students.

Oakland is an unincorporated community in Limestone County, Alabama, United States. It is in the eastern part of the county near Madison at the intersection of Huntsville Brownsferry Road (formerly known as County Road 24) and County Road 119, as opposed to Oakland, Limestone County, Alabama which is just west of Athens. Oakland is named after the Oakland Spring, and the Oakland Spring Branch which is west of the community. The area is likely soon to be acquired into Madison city's outer borders or that of the Huntsville borders in Limestone county. The community is made up of about 18 buildings, of which 3 are churches and the rest are houses.

Rocket Republic Brewing Company, Inc. is a craft brewery located in Madison, Alabama. Incorporated in March 2013, the brewery received their state ABC license in July 2013. The brewery launched its beers on September 6, 2013, at The Nook, a beer bar in Huntsville, Alabama. The launch beers were Vapor Trail Cream Ale and Astronut Brown Ale.

ARMOR (Advanced Radar for Meteorological and Operational Research) Doppler weather radar is a C-Band, Dual-Polarimetric Doppler Weather Radar, located at the Huntsville International Airport in Huntsville, Alabama. The radar is a collaborative effort between WHNT-TV and the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Live data for the radar is only available to a limited audience, such as UAH employees and NWS meteorologists. All ARMOR data is archived at the National Space Science and Technology Center located on the UAH campus.

Huntsville International Airport (IATA: HSV, ICAO: KHSV, FAA LID: HSV) (Carl T. Jones Field) is a public airport and spaceport ten miles southwest of downtown Huntsville, in Madison County, Alabama, United States. The FAA has designated the Huntsville International Airport as a Re-entry site for Dream Chaser, a spaceplane operated by Sierra Space to make reentries from Low Earth Orbit (LEO). The airport is part of the Port of Huntsville (along with the International Intermodal Center and Jetplex Industrial Park), and serves the Huntsville-Decatur Combined Statistical Area. Opened in October 1967 as the Huntsville Jetport, it was the third airport for Huntsville. The airport has 12 gates with restrooms, shops, restaurants, phones and murals depicting aviation and space exploration scenes. The airport also has on a 3-star hotel on the premises. The Four Points by Sheraton is located above the ticketing area and lobby, (adjacent to the terminal is a parking garage and to opposite sides are the control tower and a golf course). The airport's west runway, at 12,600 ft (3,800 m), is the second longest commercial runway in the southeastern United States, being 400 ft (120 m) shorter than the longest runway at Miami International Airport. Huntsville is frequently used as a diversion airport from larger hubs in the Southeast, such as Atlanta, due to its long runways and sophisticated snow removal and de-icing equipment.The airport's "Fly Huntsville" marketing campaign encourages passengers to depart from Huntsville instead of driving to Birmingham or Nashville. An August 2009 report by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics for the first quarter of 2009 revealed that Huntsville passengers paid, on average, was the highest airfares in the United States. However, the airport reported that commercial airline passenger traffic increased 2.3% in January 2010 over the previous year.The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 called it a primary commercial service airport. Federal Aviation Administration records say the airport had 612,690 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2008, 572,767 in 2009 and 606,127 in 2010.
