Tipton-Rosemark Academy (often abbreviated TRA) is a private Christian school in Shelby County, Tennessee, United States. It is in the community of Rosemark, and near the border of Shelby and Tipton County. It was established as a white flight academy and uses confederate imagery, including the nickname Rebels.

Rosemark is an unincorporated residential and farm community located along Tennessee State Route 14 in northeastern Shelby County, Tennessee, United States. It had a population of 2,315 people in 2010.An area of approximately 115 acres (47 ha) in Rosemark was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013 as the Rosemark Historic District.

Atoka () is a local government area with a town charter in Tipton County, Tennessee, United States. In 1888, Atoka was a stop on the Newport News & Mississippi Valley Railroad. Today the City of New Orleans Amtrak passenger train makes its daily route between New Orleans and Chicago, through Atoka. The population was 10,008 at the 2020 census, making the Town of Atoka the largest municipality in Tipton County. Historians and genealogists can trace the Town of Atoka's origins back to the 1838 charter of Portersville. Atoka adopted Portersville's charter as its own. World War I Medal of Honor recipient Sgt. Joseph B. Adkison lived in Atoka, and he is buried nearby. Five public parks exist within the town limits. The town has grown significantly since the 1990 census, at which time the population was only 659. Covington, the county seat, has the second largest population.

Kerrville is an unincorporated community on the northeast portion of Shelby County, Tennessee, United States. Kerrville is located along about 3.5 miles to the north of Millington and just to the south of the Tipton County line, along with Atoka and Munford city limits. It is named for Andrew Hart Kerr, who moved from Middle Tennessee to Big Creek and purchased 5,000 acres of land.

Brunswick is an unincorporated community in Shelby County, Tennessee, United States. Brunswick is 7.5 miles (12.1 km) northeast of the center of Bartlett. Since the town is unincorporated, the boundaries are not officially defined, but it is roughly bounded by the Loosahatchie River to the north, Oliver Creek on the east, U.S. Route 70 to the south, and Germantown Road/Craven Road to the west. Initially, Brunswick was a separate community that formed along the Louisville and Nashville Railroad (now owned by CSX Transportation). Many of the same families have lived in Brunswick for multiple generations. Many of these families are buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery on Brunswick Road, between the railroad tracks and U.S. Route 70.Until recently, Brunswick was relatively isolated and rural compared with the rest of Shelby County. In the 2000s new subdivisions were built in the area.
