Hampton is a developing township to the south of Peterborough, in the Peterborough district, in the ceremonial county of Cambridgeshire, England.

Hampton College is an all-through school for pupils aged 4 to 18, located in Hampton, Peterborough, England.The school opened to years 7 and 8 in September 2005. By 2008 the school accepted students in years 7 through to 11. Further expansion, including a sixth form, was initially due for completion by 2010. Although the school began AS Level courses in September 2009, the date for the new buildings was reviewed. Phase 2 of the school building programme started 2011. In 2016 the sister school Hampton Gardens was built along with a 3G Astro turf football field. The Hampton Academies Trust was also formed, being led by Hampton College’s former Headmistress, Helen Price, in an attempt to unify the education and community of Hampton. Hampton College and Hampton Gardens operate under a joint Sixth Form community with students learning in both schools. Hampton Gardens focuses on performing arts and dance classes whilst Hampton College retains its focus on Humanities. A third school, Hampton Lakes, is planned to be built in 2021 to complete the Hampton Academies Trust. The school currently boasts an outdoor amphitheatre and is built around a courtyard setting. In the evenings, the school is used for a variety of groups and adult education classes and it is hoped that the school will eventually form the heart of the community within Hampton. The college was found to be 'outstanding' by Ofsted in 2007, and was rated as 'outstanding' in 6 out of a possible 7 categories, putting it in the top 2% of schools nationally. A further Ofsted inspection in July 2010 again judged the school to be 'outstanding', however, since 2017, Ofsted have lowered the school’s rating to ‘good’.

Yaxley is a village and civil parish in the Huntingdonshire district in Cambridgeshire, England. Yaxley lies approximately 4 miles (6 km) south of Peterborough, just off the A15 road. The village is located near the Hampton township, and is approximately three miles north-east of junction 16 of the A1(M) at Norman Cross.

Woodston is a largely residential and industrial area of the city of Peterborough, in the unparished area of Old Fletton, in the Peterborough district, in the ceremonial county of Cambridgeshire, England. For electoral purposes, it forms part of Fletton ward in North West Cambridgeshire constituency. Oundle Road runs through most of Woodston into the Ortons.

Fletton railway station was a railway station in Fletton, Cambridgeshire just south of Peterborough. It was once home to an extensive goods yard.

St Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church, Woodston, Peterborough, England was built in 1964, and named for Olga of Kyiv. There is a Ukrainian Mission based in this church. The parish priest is Fr Roman Badiak.It is part of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and the Apostolic Exarchate for Ukrainians while also being part of the Catholic Church in England and Wales. It is part of the Catholic parish of St Peter and All Souls, Peterborough.

Orton Community Sixth Form is a consortium sixth form for Bushfield Community College and Orton Longueville School.

Orton Mere is a station on the Nene Valley Railway and is situated between Ferry Meadows and Peterborough Nene Valley, adjacent to the River Nene. Orton Mere provides access to the eastern end of the Nene Park. At Orton Mere, the Nene Valley Railway passes under the Orton Parkway, part of the complex road system built when Peterborough was allocated New Town status. Orton Mere station appears in the James Bond film Octopussy and is easily identified by the flyover carrying the Nene Parkway.

Orton Pit is a 145.8-hectare (360-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest on the southern outskirts of Peterborough in Cambridgeshire. It is also a Special Area of ConservationThis extensive area of disused brick clay workings has the largest known population in Britain of great crested newts. There are ten species of stonewort, including chara canescens, which was previously thought to be extinct in Britain, and four other nationally rare species. The habitats are diverse, with ponds, scrub and rough grassland. The site is private land with no public access, apart from a small wood in the north-east corner, north of Guelder Road and Ewood Drive.

Woodston Ponds is an 8.9 hectare Local Nature Reserve between the River Nene and the Nene Valley Railway in Peterborough in Cambridgeshire. It is managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.The site was formerly settling ponds to remove washings from sugar beet. The east side has a lake with water birds such as grey herons, tufted ducks and pochards. In the west there is a reedbed which has pools and channels, with great crested newts and unusual species of water beetle.There is access by crossing a footbridge over the river from Viersen Platz and turning right along a footpath.

Orton is a mostly residential area of the city of Peterborough, in the Peterborough district, in the ceremonial county of Cambridgeshire, England. For electoral purposes it comprises Orton Longueville, Orton Waterville and Orton with Hampton wards in North West Cambridgeshire
