Mangalagiri railway station

Mangalagiri is a major Sub-urban of Vijayawada in Guntur district of Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The town is a part of Mangalagiri Tadepalli Municipal Corporation and part of Tenali revenue division. It and a part of Andhra Pradesh Capital Region. It is situated on National Highway 16 between Vijayawada and Guntur. Ten villages namely Chinakakani, Kaza, Nutakki, Chinavadlapudi, Pedavadlapudi, Ramachandrapuram, Atamakuru, Nowluru, Yerrabalem, Nidamarru, Bethapudi are merged into Mangalagiri Tadepalli Municipal Corporation. The issue of the merger of the villages is now pending in the court.

ACA International Cricket Stadium (also known as Andhra Cricket Association International Cricket Stadium) is a cricket stadium under construction in the town of Mangalagiri which is the part of the Mangalagiri Tadepalle Municipal Corporation and APCRDA. It is situated in Mangalagiri, Guntur District of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh nearly 15 mi (24 km) from Guntur, 19 miles (31 km) from Tenali and 8 mi (13 km) from Pandit Nehru bus station In 2000, Andhra Cricket Association wanted to construct an International Stadium in Vijayawada, but due to lack of area this stadium plan was moved to Mangalagiri. Although cricket ground has been constructed, the stadium construction along with audience gallery did not start. In 2013, Andhra Cricket Association proposed construction of the central zone stadium in mangalagiri as part of zonal wise academies with North and south zone academies in vizianagaram and kadapa respectively. ACA tried to start the construction and Indoor stadium has been built next to the cricket ground for players to practice cricket. But the main stadium construction was quickly put on hold at the foundation level, because of architectural issues. As the plan to setup capital for newly formed state of Andhra Pradesh, the works of the stadium resumed from 2015.Anurag Thakur (then BCCI Chief), Galla Jayadev (Member of Parliament), Kesineni Srinivas (Member of Parliament), and Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao inaugurated the stadium at A.P Capital Amaravati on 30 May 2016, with construction company IVRCL Limited winning the rights for the project, worth ₹51.04 crore (US$6.4 million). It is owned by Andhra Cricket Association. The stadium is spread over an area of 24 acres (9.7 ha) with a seating capacity of 34,000.VVS Laxman, the former Indian batsman, inaugurated the Central Zone Academy of Andhra Cricket Association in June 2013. The stadium will include a club house and an indoor cricket academy. The Board of Control for Cricket in India made Andhra Cricket Association the headquarters of the Indian women's cricket team.

NRI Academy of Medical Sciences (also referred as NRI Medical College) is the first medical academy in Andhra Pradesh, India started by NRIs. It is one of the medical colleges in Guntur District, offering graduate (Masters) and undergraduate (Bachelors) courses in medical sciences. It is located in Chinna Kakani which is part of Mangalagiri Tadepalli Municipal Corporation nearby cities are Guntur and Vijayawada. The academy is affiliated to the Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences Vijayawada.

Nowlur is a neighbourhood and a part of Urban Notified Area of Amaravati, the state capital of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It was an out growth of Mangalagiri Municipality in Guntur district, prior to its merger in the urban area of the state capital.

Lakshmi Narasimha Temple is a Vaishnavite temple and one of the eight sacred places of Lord Vishnu in India. It is also known for being one of the eight mahakshetras Narasimha in India. It is situated at the foot of the Auspicious Hill in Mangalagiri which is part of the Mangalagiri Tadepalle Municipal Corporation part of Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is one of the temples in the series of three temples located on and at the bottom of the hill, the other two being Panakala Narasimha Temple on the hill and Gandala Narasimha Temple at the top of the hill. It has one of the highest gopurams in South India and only one of its type in this part of India. It is 153 feet (47 m) in height and 49 feet (15 m) wide and has eleven storeys.

Mangalagiri is a constituency in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh that elects represtatives to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in India. It is one of the seven assembly segments of the Guntur Lok Sabha constituency.Alla Ramakrishna Reddy is the current MLA of the constituency, having won the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election from YSR Congress Party. As of 2019, there are a total of 268,429 electors in the constituency. The constituency was established in 1951, as per the Delimitation Orders (1951).

It is located in Tadepalle mandal part of Mangalagiri Tadepalle Municipal Corporation part of Guntur revenue division. It is a suburb of Vijayawada. There is a historical temple on the hill here.
