St. James Episcopal Church (Midvale, Utah)

Fort Union, historically Union, is a major commercial area and an early settlement in the Salt Lake Valley of Utah that is now split between the municipalities of Midvale, Cottonwood Heights, and Sandy. The fort after which the area was named was built early (1853) in the Salt Lake Valley's post-1847 history at a strategic point where escarpments on either side of the Little Cottonwood Creek valley create a narrow gateway to the upper valley and Little Cottonwood Canyon beyond. The effects of geography on travel through the area have also contributed to the area's much more recent success as a retail and employment destination.

The Brady-Brady House, at 8395 South 1000 East in Sandy, Utah, was built in 1930. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. The listing included two contributing buildings.Why "Brady-Brady House" or "Brady/Brady House", rather than just "Brady House"???? It is a Tudor Revival-style house. It is 26 by 40 feet (7.9 m × 12.2 m) in plan, and has aprojecting cross-gabled bay which is 14 feet (4.3 m) wide and 8 feet (2.4 m) deep.

The Henry J. Wheeler Farm is a farmstead in Murray, Utah, United States, that is one of the few remaining late 19th century farmsteads in the Salt Lake Valley that has not been lost to expanding housing developments of metropolitan Salt Lake City. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1976.

The Emma Olive Dobbs House, at 578 E. Locust St. in Sandy, Utah, was built in the years around 1905–10. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.It is a one-and-one-half-story Victorian style central-block-with-projecting-bays house. It has a front porch with Tuscan columns.It was deemed significant as one of "the best preserved examples of the central-block-with-projecting-bays constructed during the same time period in Sandy". It was noted that it "is also expressive of the level of craftsmanship attained locally on the construction of such structures, including the use of native materials, such as the granite employed on the foundation."

FanX Salt Lake (formerly Salt Lake Comic Con) is a semi-annual multi-genre pop culture expo held in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. It is produced by Dan Farr and Bryan Brandenburg under Dan Farr Productions and is Utah's most attended convention according to the Governor's Office of Economic Development. The first convention took place at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City. The second event, Salt Lake Comic Con FanXperience, was inaugurated in April 2014.

The Sandy Second Ward Chapel (formerly known as the Berean Baptist Church and the Anchor Baptist Church) is a location in Sandy, Utah listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was designed by the architect Don Carlos Young, a son of Brigham Young. It was later sold by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.It is built of dark maroon brick on a concrete foundation. A parapet mostly hides the building's low roof. It has four Tuscan columns made of granite-like cast aggregate at its front entrance.

Midvale is a city in Salt Lake County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Salt Lake City, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. Midvale's population was 34,124 according to 2019 estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau.Midvale is home to the shops at fort union, located on the east side of the city and the Bingham Junction economic center, located on the west side of the city. Midvale is centrally located in the most populated county in Utah, with the direct interchange between I15 and I215 located in the middle of the city. Midvale is one of the few cities in Utah to be home to two direct trax lines.

The Dyre and Maria Amundsen House, at 307 E. Winchester St. in Murray, Utah, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.Dyre was from Norway. He built an adobe house, then later a brick one.

The Joseph F. and Isabelle Jensen House, at 428 East 8800 South in Sandy, Utah, was built around 1902. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998, and it is also included in the National Register-listed Sandy Historic District It is a one-story brick Victorian cottage with Queen Anne-style detailing.Its bricks are laid in stretcher bond.It is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of S. 420 E. with E. 8800 S. There is a white picket fence outlining the property on its two street-facing sides.

The Allsop-Jensen House, at 8829 S. 400 East St. in Sandy, Utah, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.The property includes a house and a barn, both deemed to be contributing buildings. The house was built in c.1874, c.1892, and c.1900. About the barn:The Allsop/Jensen Barn has been identified as the Watterson Barn, according to John Ralph Ferrin, MA Thesis, 1981. The barn is hewn log and wood frame construction. Ferrin indicates the barn was built in 1874 in Draper, from wood cut in Bell's canyon; later the barn was dismantled and moved to its present site in 1880. Ferrin notes several metal rings at the bottom logs, and states that they were used when the barn was dismantled and moved. Mr. Watterson, however, has stated that Evan Jensen (youngest son of James Jensen) indicated that the barn was dragged to its present site by team (with only the roof removed). Does the barn still exist? Or could it have been moved and saved elsewhere? It appears to be gone.
