The Harvey River Formation is a geologic formation in Jamaica. It preserves bivalve fossils dating back to the Cretaceous period.

Hanover (Jamaican Creole: Anuova) is a parish located on the northwestern tip of the island of Jamaica. It is a part of the county of Cornwall, bordered by St. James in the east and Westmoreland in the south. With the exception of Kingston, it is the smallest parish on the island. Hanover is the birth parish of Alexander Bustamante, labour leader, first head of government of Jamaica under universal suffrage, and one of seven Jamaican National Heroes. Its capital is Lucea.

Sandy Bay, Jamaica is a seaside town in western Jamaica. There are several churches such as the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the Baptist Church, the Methodist Church, and the Church of God. Sandy Bay was also home to a Jockey International Factory which was a major employer for the town. They have since left to find cheaper labour. Sandy Bay Primary and Junior High School (previously Sandy Bay All Age) provides education for the children of Sandy Bay and neighboring Mt. Pelier. Mrs. Trenfield is the Principal of the school with Juliet Murray serving as Vice Principal. Students are housed in the old building on the right side of the campus and in the Andrew Kennedy Building on the left, completed in the 1990s. Parts of the movie Cool Runnings was filmed on the campus.

Rusea's High School in Lucea, Hanover, Jamaica, established in 1777, is the fourth oldest, continuously operated high school in Jamaica, after Wolmer's Boys', one of the Wolmer's Schools (1729), Manning's School (1738) and St. Jago High School (1744).

Hopewell is a settlement and fishing village in Hanover Parish, Jamaica, located 15 kilometres west of Montego Bay. It is the location of Round Hill Hotel and Villas, a historic beachfront resort. A small fleet of fishing boats operates from the beach to the west of the center of town.

Lucea (Jamaican Creole: Luusi) is a coastal town in Jamaica and the capital of the parish of Hanover.

The historic Round Hill hotel and villa resort near Montego Bay in Hopewell, Hanover, Jamaica opened in 1952. It is located on a 100-acre (40 ha) peninsula and has entertained many celebrities and politicians including John F. Kennedy, Ralph Lauren, Paul Newman and Bob Hope. Ian Fleming was a frequent guest at Round Hill during his time in Jamaica.

Grange Hill is a settlement in Jamaica, located in the parish of Westmoreland. It has a population of 7,190 as of 2009. It is the birthplace of Reggae legend Peter Tosh.

Frome Sports Club is a multi-use stadium in Frome near Savanna-la-Mar, Jamaica. It is currently used mostly for football matches. It serves as a home ground of Reno FC. The stadium holds 2,000 people.

The Great River (Jamaica) is one of Jamaica's major rivers, and forms the boundary of the parish of St James with Westmoreland and Hanover.
