Kampala Associated Advocates (KAA) is an international law firm based in Uganda with a presence in the countries of the African Great Lakes. The firm specializes in a range of legal issues from litigation to corporate matters. KAA has 26 lawyers, of whom 15 are partners, two senior consultants and 15 support staff, making it one of the largest legal practices in Uganda.

Uganda Export Promotion Board (UEPB) is a public trade promotion organization established by Parliamentary Statute No. 2 of 1996. At the time of formation, it was known as the Uganda Export Promotion Council (UEPC). It is an agency that is regulated and supervised by the Uganda Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives. The fundamental role of this institution is to facilitate the development and growth of export trade in Uganda.

The Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited (UEGCL) is a parastatal company whose primary purpose is to generate electric power for use in Uganda and for sale to neighboring countries. As of December 2017, UEGCL's generation capacity was 380 megawatts, with that capacity planned to increase to over 1,300 megawatts, by 2023.

The Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited (UEDCL) is a parastatal company whose primary purpose is to distribute electric power to domestic and commercial end-users in Uganda, at and below 33 kiloVolts. This role was sub-leased to Umeme for a 20-year concession that ends in 2025.

The Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority (PPDA) is a parastatal organisation in Uganda that is responsible for regulation and supervision of procurement and disposal of government-owned property and other assets.

Case Medical Centre, also known as Case Hospital, is an urban, private, upscale, tertiary hospital in Kampala, the capital of Uganda and the largest city in that country. It is one of the few upscale private tertiary care hospitals in the city. The other four hospitals are: International Hospital Kampala, Kampala Hospital, Nakasero Hospital, UMC Victoria Hospital and Paragon Hospital.

Nakasero Hospital Limited, commonly referred to as Nakasero Hospital, is a private, for-profit hospital in Kampala, the capital of Uganda and the largest city in that country. The hospital is one of five private upscale hospitals in the city; the others being International Hospital Kampala in Namuwongo, Paragon Hospital in Bugoloobi, Case Medical Centre in Kampala Central Division and Kampala Hospital in Kololo.

The National Library of Uganda was established by an Act of Parliament in 2003, replacing the Public Libraries Board itself established in 1964.It is the legal deposit library for Uganda and was under the directorship of Gertrude Kayaga Mulindwa. The National Library building is on Buganda Road in the city of Kampala.[2]

The Pearl of Africa Hotel is a hotel in Kampala, the capital and largest city of Uganda. The building, under development since 2006, was completed in June 2017, and was opened on 1 October 2017.

Nakasero is a hill and neighborhood in the centre of Kampala, the capital and largest city of Uganda. Nakasero is important to Uganda's economy and politics, as it is home to Kampala's central business district and several government offices, including the Ugandan Parliament Buildings.

The Uganda Ministry of Public Service is a Cabinet level government ministry. The ministry is mandated to "develop, manage and administer human resource policies, management systems, procedures and structure for the public service" in Uganda.The ministry is headed by a Cabinet minister, Wilson Muruli Mukasa.

Wandegeya is a neighborhood within the city of Kampala, Uganda's capital and largest metropolitan area. The name is derived from the weaver birds, (Endegeya in Luganda), which used to inhabit the area prior to the 1990s.
