Kerk Street Mosque

The Central Methodist Mission (CMM) is a prominent Methodist church located in the inner city of Johannesburg, South Africa. Situated at the corner of Pritchard and Smal Streets, the church has served as both a religious center and a site of significant social activism, particularly in support of the urban poor and refugees.

Manners Mansions was designed by the architectural firm of Emley and Williamson for African City Property Trust and was built in 1937-1939. The building is situated on stand 5198, at the corner of Jeppe and Joubert Streets in Johannesburg. Manners Mansions is named after Sir George Espec John Manners.

It was built in 1975 and is 29 storeys (406.80 ft.) tall. Its structure is made of concrete while its facade is constructed from ceramic tiles. The building is colored brown and is made in a modernistic style. It is mainly used as a commercial office building.

11 Diagonal Street is a skyscraper in Johannesburg, South Africa. It was built in 1983 to a height of 80 metres. It is designed to look like a diamond as it reflects different views of the Central Business District from each angle of the building.The building's architect was Helmut Jahn.

The National Bank Building also known as the Corner House is situated on the corner of Market and Simmonds Streets in Johannesburg. The address 38-40 Simmonds Street corresponds to Stand 205 F. It was designed by renowned architects Leck and Emley in 1903, and construction was completed in 1904. Leck and Emley also designed the neighbouring Corner House building in 1902, which was finished in 1904 on the corner of Simmonds and Commissioner Streets. The facade of the new National Bank Building blended well with that of the Corner House, and it is believed that J.B.Taylor, chairman of Corner House as well as a director of the National Bank, proposed the plan of combining the two. Fifty years later, in 1953, the bank (now Barclays) duplicated Taylor's thinking, and Gordon Leith was commissioned to design the third part of the building – the Market Street extension – in keeping with the two existing structures to form a cohesive unit. It was refurbished by the current owners, Barclays Bank.

London House is a building in the city of Johannesburg constructed by the firm of Emily and Williamson. The Application for Approval of Plans was received by the City Engineer's Department on 18 March 1935 and approved ten months later 20 January 1936. The building was completed on 6 March 1936 as entered on the valuation roll, meaning it took two months to complete the building or construction to the building was started without approval of plans.

The Rand Water Board was established in 1903, tasked with supplying the water needed to support mining activities and sanitary living conditions for those living in the developing urban area of Johannesburg. The Rand Water Board Building extension to the Fraser Street offices was the third in a series of buildings owned and occupied by the Rand Water Board (RWB) of Johannesburg before the relocation to large purpose built modern premises in Rietvlei.
