Sakskøbing (Danish pronunciation: [ˈsɑksˌkʰøˀpe̝ŋ]), previously spelled Sakskjøbing, is a town with a population of 4,595 (1 January 2022). Until 1 January 2007 it was the seat of the former Sakskøbing Municipality (Danish, kommune) in Guldborgsund Municipality in Region Sjælland on the northeast coast of the island of Lolland in south Denmark. The water tower in Sakskøbing, nicknamed "Saxine" or "the smiling water tower", is a 33 meter tall water tower and a landmark for the town. The tower was built in 1908 by Christiani & Nielsen, but did not receive its smile until 1982, when the architect Flemming Skude decorated it.

The Berritzgaard estate and manor house is one of the largest and best preserved manor houses on the island of Lolland in Denmark. The estate can be traced back to 1382, to its first owner, Markvard Pøiske. The estate developed from a village called "Berith", situated where the Berritzgaard manor house now stands. Later, the Huitfeldt family purchased the estate. Jacob Huitfeldt and his wife Lisebeth Friis built the present manor house that was constructed by Hans van Steenwinckel the Elder. Lisebeth Friis was widowed before the house was finished in 1586. The style of the house is in the Dutch Renaissance architectural style and Berritzgaard is considered to be the most unspoiled example of a manor house from this style period in Denmark.

¨Bramsløkke is a manor house on the island of Lolland in southeastern Denmark. The main building is from c. 1690 and was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places by the Danish Heritage Agency on 31 December 1959. The estate has been owned by the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller since 1939. It covers 243.1 hectares.

Sydhavsøerne (lit. "The South Sea Islands"), sometimes also referred to simply as Lolland-Falster from the two largest islands, is an informal but common term used in Danish to refer to the archipelago just south of Zealand, Denmark's largest island where its capital Copenhagen is located. Part of the Baltic Sea, the term covers Lolland, Falster and Møn as well as the numerous smaller islands of the surrounding straits, fjords and waters. The name is a parody on the similar Danish name for the South Pacific Islands of Micronesia, Melanesia and Polynesia. The name is used by Radio Sydhavsøerne, the local radio station covering the area.

Majbølle Mølle is a smock mill at Majbølle, Denmark which was built in 1896 and has been restored to working order.

Orebygaard is a manor house and estate located on Lolland in southeastern Denmark. The current main building, a Neo-Renaissance style building with two towers, is from 1872–1874. It was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1985.

Engestofte is a Neoclassical manor house located 6 km (4 mi) east of Maribo, Lolland Municipality, on the island of Lolland in southeastern Denmark.

Toreby Church is the parish church of Toreby on the Danish island of Lolland. It is an unusually large red-brick Romanesque building, the nave and chancel having been extended in the Gothic period with a sacristy and lateral aisle. The tower is late Romanesque. There are frescos from c. 1400 in the sacristy. The carved pulpit (1645) is the work of Jørgen Ringnis.

The Guldborgsund bridge (Danish: Guldborgbroen) spans the northern end of the Guldborgsund, between the islands of Lolland and Falster in Denmark. The bridge consists of two steel arched spans with a 30m central opening section having two rising bascules. It was built between 1933 and 1934, is 180m long and 7m wide, carrying two road carriageways and was officially opened by Prince Axel of Denmark on 6 October 1934.

Søholt is a manor house located on the southern shore of the Maribo Lakes on Lolland in southeastern Denmark. The main building is from 1804 but was adapted to the Renaissance Revival style in the second half of the 19th century. The Baroque-style garden is open to the public.

Fuglsang is a 19th-century manor house now operated by Det Classenske Fideicommis as a cultural centre as an active agricultural estate at Toreby on the island of Lolland, in southeastern Denmark. The estate was owned by members of the de Neergaard family from 1819 to 1947. The main building serves as a venue for classical concerts and other cultural activities. The cultural centre also includes Fuglsang Art Museum, located in a purpose-built building designed by British architect Tony Fretton.

Fuglsang Art Museum (Danish: Fuglsang Kunstmuseum) is an art museum set in rural surroundings in Guldborgsund Municipality on the island of Lolland in Denmark. It is part of the Fuglsang Cultural Centre. The museum features Danish art with an emphasis on artists and motifs of local provenance. The museum is located in a purpose-built building, designed by Tony Fretton. Noted for its integration with the surrounding architecture and landscape, the museum building won a 2009 RIBA European Award and was short-listed for the Stirling Prize the same year.
