Guia Fortress

S. Francisco Garden (Chinese: 加思欄花園; Portuguese: Jardim de S. Francisco) is a floral garden on Rua de Santa Clara in Sé, Macau, China.

The Guia Circuit, or Circuito da Guia, is a 6.120 km (3.803 mi) street circuit located at the southeast region of the Macau Peninsula in Macau. It is the venue of the Macau Grand Prix and Guia Race of Macau. The circuit consists of long straights and tight corners, and features the characteristics of a typical street circuit - narrow, bumpy and limited overtaking opportunities. However, there are two special features that can rarely be found in other street circuits - variation in altitude (over 30 m (100 ft) between highest and lowest point of the circuit) and an ultra long main straight that allows top speed of 260 km/h (160 mph) on Formula Three cars. As a result, the circuit is recognised as one of the most challenging circuits in the world in terms of both driving and tuning, as cars have to maintain competitive speed to overcome hill-climbing, twisty corners and long straights in a single lap.

The United Nations University Institute in Macau, formerly the United Nations University International Institute for Software Technology (UNU-IIST; Chinese: 聯合國大學國際軟件技術研究所; Portuguese: Instituto Internacional para Tecnologia de Programação da Universidade das Nações Unidas) and then United Nations University Institute on Computing and Society (UNU-CS; Chinese: 聯合國大學計算與社會研究所), is a United Nations University global think tank conducting research and training on digital technologies for sustainable development, encouraging data-driven and evidence-based actions and policies to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. UNU-Macau is located in Macau, China.

Yuet Wah College (Portuguese: Colégio Yuet Wah; Chinese: 粵華中學; abbr: YWC), often referred to as Yuet Wah, is a Macau all-boys Catholic preschool through secondary school in São Lázaro (St. Lazarus Parish), Macau. It was founded in 1925, making it one of the oldest secondary schools in Macau. It is accredited by the Salesians of Don Bosco. The school aims to provide a liberal education based on Catholic principles; its students are encouraged to be well-rounded. School teams participate in various inter-school sports and music competitions. In 2001, a primary school division was opened on Colégio Dom Bosco (Yuet Wah) campus. Yuet Wah College has a long list of notable alumni, including entrepreneurs, politicians, musicians, actors, four members of the Macau Executive Council and two members of the Macau cabinet.

Escola Secundária Luso-Chinesa de Luís Gonzaga Gomes (ESLCLGG Chinese: 高美士中葡中學) is a public secondary school in São Lázaro, Macau. Named after Luís Gonzaga Gomes, it was established in 1985.The original site of the school was Macao Jiejie School(now Colegio Mateus Ricci). In 1986, it moved to the Macao School Complex (now the Macao Polytechnic University) and was named Escola Secundária e Preparatória Sino-Portuguesa de Luis Gonzaga Gomes. In 1989, the school was part of the elementary school and was renamed Escola Secundaria Luso-Chinesa de Luis Gonzaga Gomes, providing regular grammar middle school courses for junior high school to high school. In order to more effectively develop secondary education, the school moved to the current location of Avenida de Sidónio Pais, Macao, in 1995, and the school itself has continued to develop. In 2002, the school building expansion project began. Two new school buildings were built on both sides of the original main building and completed in 2003. To provide regular grammar secondary school courses for Macao school-age children, and to cultivate trilogy and four languages (Cantonese, Mandarin, Portuguese and English). The school is divided into Chinese and Portuguese sections. The school has four departments, which are: The Chinese Day School: The Chinese language is the main language of instruction, and the regular grammar combined junior high school and senior high school course of six years (Grade 7 to Grade 12). The Portuguese Day School: Opened in 1998, with Portuguese as the main language of instruction, providing regular grammar secondary school courses for junior high school students (Grade 7 to Grade 9). Secondary Adult Night School: Founded in 1999, it provides formal courses for junior high school and high school for adults who fail to complete secondary school in Macau. The unit system is the basis of the curriculum. Originally taught only at night, and opened in 2005. Portuguese Adult Night School: Opened in 1998, the Portuguese language is the main language of instruction, providing night junior high school and high school courses.

The Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region (Chinese: 中央人民政府駐澳門特別行政區聯絡辦公室; Portuguese: Gabinete de Ligação do Governo Popular Central na Região Administrativa Especial de Macau) is the representative office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China in Macau. Under the system "one institution with two names", the office also holds the name as the Macau Work Committee of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. Its counterpart body in Mainland China is the Office of the Macau Special Administrative Region in Beijing. It is one of the three agencies of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region. The other two are the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the Macao Special Administrative Region and the People's Liberation Army Macau Garrison.

Victory Garden (Chinese: 得勝花園; Portuguese: Jardim da Vitória) is a park in São Lázaro, Macau, China. The park was built to commemorate the victory by the Portuguese over the Dutch in 1622.The park features a statute commemorating the historic event, a tree, benches and flowers that line the pathways from Avenida de Sidónio Pais.

São Lázaro is the smallest civil parish (Portuguese: freguesia) of Macau, located in the central-east region of the Macau Peninsula. It is surrounded by the parishes of Nossa Senhora de Fátima, Santo António, and Sé. This parish was one of five in the former Municipality of Macau, one of Macau's two municipalities that were abolished on 31 December 2001 by Law No. 17/2001, following the 1999 transfer of sovereignty over Macau from Portugal to China. While their administrative functions have since been removed, these parishes are still retained nominally. One-third of its region is covered by Guia Hill (Portuguese: Colina da Guia, 松山 or 東望洋山). 3% of factories in Macau are located in the district.

The Macao Polytechnic University Multisport Pavilion (formerly named Macao Polytechnic Institute Multisport Pavilion) is part of the Macao Polytechnic University (MPU) in Macau, People's Republic of China. It covers a total area of over 6,200 square metres (67,000 sq ft) and has a seating capacity of 3,800. This modern pavilion is ideal for indoor sports such as basketball, assorted ball games, and volleyball. It is connected to the adjacent Macao Forum via a footbridge and a short underground passage. On March 1, 2022, the Macao Polytechnic Institute was officially renamed as Macao Polytechnic University, and the Multisport Pavilion has been renamed simultaneously.

Macau Forum (Chinese: 澳門綜藝館, Portuguese: Fórum de Macau) is a venue connected to the adjacent Macao Polytechnic University Multisport Pavilion and Media Centre located at Avenida de Marciano Baptista, in Sé, Macau, China. Macao Forum used to be the largest indoor venue in Macau before the completion of the Macao East Asian Games Dome. It comprises two pavilions: The main pavilion has a capacity of up to 4,000 and offers a competition area of 45 metres by 25 metres with a ceiling height of 12 metres; The second pavilion can accommodate over 300 people with theatre-style-seating format and offers a performing area of 30 metres by 15 metres, which is suitable for different spectator sports and shows. Macao Forum has been one of the venues for the annual FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix series since 1994 and successfully held the Final in 2001 (suspended in 2003 and 2004 due to major overhaul for the 2005 East Asian Games).

The Macau Grand Prix (Portuguese: Grande Prémio de Macau; Chinese: 澳門格蘭披治大賽車) is a motorsport road race for automobiles and motorcycles held annually in Macau. It is the only street circuit racing event in which both cars and motorcycles participate. The first Macau Grand Prix event was held in 1954, as a sports car event. In 1961, the title race became an open-wheel Formula Libre event. The event has also had a variety of support races in its duration. Production cars joined the event in 1957, which were superseded by touring cars in 1972. The event received world championship status from 2005 to 2014 as the final round of the World Touring Car Championship. In 1967, the Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix was introduced. In 2008, a GT3 race was added to the event, which became known as the FIA GT World Cup. The highlight of the race weekend is the Macau Formula Three Grand Prix, featuring many national Formula Three champions and drivers from around the world, with the winner being awarded the FIA Formula 3 World Cup. Due to the challenging nature of the circuit, which consists of fast straights (a Formula Three car can reach a top speed of 275 km/h (171 mph) at the end of the straight), tight corners and uncompromising crash barriers, the Macau Grand Prix is considered one of the most demanding circuits in the world. Many current or former Formula One drivers have participated in the event early in their careers and some of them have won the prestigious prize. Previous winners include Riccardo Patrese, Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, David Coulthard, Ralf Schumacher, Ralph Firman, Takuma Sato, Lucas di Grassi, Edoardo Mortara, António Félix da Costa, Felix Rosenqvist and Dan Ticktum.

The Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the Macao Special Administrative Region is a governmental office established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China in Macau in accordance with the Basic Law to handle foreign affairs related to Macau. The main responsibilities of the Commissioner's Office are to coordinate Macau's participation in international organizations and conferences, to deal with the application issues of international conventions in Macau, and to coordinate the establishment of consular offices by foreign governments in Macau.
