Vejalpur is a Census Town in the New West Zone of the metropolitan city of Ahmedabad in the Indian state of Gujarat.

The H. B. Kapadia New High school is the group of schools located in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. The H. B. Kapadia is named after the founder of this school Hiralal Bapulal Kapadia. It provides both Gujarati as well as English medium education facilities. It also provides higher secondary school education in commerce as well as science streams. The chhatral branch is affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education while the others are affiliated with Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.

Jivraj Park is an elevated metro station on the North-South Corridor of the Red Line of Ahmedabad Metro in Ahmedabad, India. Around this metro station holds the main DMart Supermarket along with Auda Garden Park, Rish Orthopedic Hospital in southern Ahmedabad. This metro station was inaugurated on 30 September 2022 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was opened to the public on 6 October 2022.

The Space Applications Centre (SAC) is an institution of research in Ahmedabad under the aegis of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It is one of the major centres of ISRO that is engaged in the research, development and demonstration of applications of space technology in the field of telecommunications, remote sensing, meteorology and satellite navigation (Sat Nav). This includes research and development of on-board systems, ground systems and end user equipment hardware and software. SAC has three campuses, two of which are located at Ahmedabad and one at Delhi.

Juhapura ([dʒuɦɑpuɾɑ]) is a neighbourhood in New West Zone of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India near Sarkhej, along the National Highway 8A that goes towards Saurashtra and Kutch. The area was developed in 1973 for the people who lost houses in flood, it was founded then prime minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi. The first housing society of the area was Sarni Kamdar. The population of Juhapura is largely Muslim. Many Muslim professionals and businessmen also live in this area. Juhapura was a small suburb with a small population until the mid-1980s, but after the communal riots of Gujarat from 1985 until 2002, many Muslims migrated from the Muslim and Hindu-dominated areas of Ahmedabad and the surrounding cities to Juhapura, causing a construction boom. Land and housing prices subsequently increased. Juhapura is primarily residential but now also hosts a hospital, many schools, restaurants and dhabas and a food market.

Makarba is a census town in Ahmedabad district in the Indian state of Gujarat.

APMC is the elevated southern terminal metro station on the North-South Corridor of the Red Line of Ahmedabad Metro in Ahmedabad, India. Around this metro station holds the main Shri Chimanbhai Jivabhai Patel Market which is famous for local groceries in southern Ahmedabad. To the south leads towards the Gyaspur Metro Train Depot which will hold all Red Line metro trains for maintenance purposes. This metro station was inaugurated on 30 September 2022 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was opened to the public on 6 October 2022.

Ahmedabad West Lok Sabha constituency (Gujarati: અમદાવાદ પશ્ચિમ લોકસભા મતવિસ્તાર) is one of the 26 Lok Sabha (lower house of Indian parliament) constituencies in Gujarat, a state in western India. This constituency was created as a part of the implementation of delimitation of parliamentary constituencies in 2008. This seat is reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC). It first held elections in 2009 and its first member of parliament (MP) was Dr.Kirit Premjibhai Solanki of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). As of latest elections in 2019, Dr.Solanki represents this constituency.

Sarkhej Roza is a mosque and tomb complex located in the village of Makarba, 7 km south-west of Ahmedabad in Gujarat state, India. Although there are many rozas across Gujarat, the Sarkhej Roza is the most revered. Sarkhej was once a prominent centre of Sufi culture in the country, where influential Sufi saint Shaikh Ahmed Ganj Baksh lived. It was on the saint's suggestion that Sultan Ahmed Shah set up his capital on the banks of the Sabarmati, a few miles away from Sarkhej.

Ahmedabad International School (AIS) is a private school located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.It is one of the SAT and ACT centers in the state of Gujarat, other being Navrachana International School in Vadodara. The school also administers Advanced Placement Program (AP) exams. The head of the school is Dr. Anjali Sharma. There has been only one previous head. In 2017 the District Primary Education Officer (DPEO) imposed a fine of 110,000 rupees and required a change in the curriculum from the upcoming school year, upon finding that the school was not using textbooks approved by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. The school soon transitioned to using NCERT textbooks.

LJ Institute of Business Administration (LJIBA) is an undergraduate business school affiliated with Gujarat University and based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It was founded in 1998. It gives a three-year BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) degree to the graduates. It provides two specialisations in the third year of attendance: Accountancy and Marketing. The college is owned and managed by the Lok Jagruti Kendra trust.
