Pleasant Hill Methodist Church is a United Methodist church in Pleasant Hill, Saline County, Arkansas. The church was built by Walter Overhault in 1894 to replace the previous log structure used by the congregation. Locals of various religious denominations assisted in the church's construction, and the church has also served as a community center; it also hosts the yearly community reunion each July. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 5, 1991; it represents one of the best surviving examples of the simple Greek Revival style wood-frame churches of rural Arkansas.

Pleasant Hill is an unincorporated community in Saline County, Arkansas, United States. Pleasant Hill is 9.2 miles (14.8 km) north of Benton. The Pleasant Hill Methodist Church, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is located in Pleasant Hill. Pleasant Hill was established before the Civil War as an agricultural community. The church has historically served as a community center and hosts a community reunion on the third Sunday of July each year.

The Doe Branch Post Office is a historic house and post office in rural western Pulaski County, Arkansas. Located on the north side of Kanis Road (County Road 38), just west of its junction with Golden Eagle Drive, it is an L-shaped single-story structure built in a sequence of steps. The oldest portion is a single-pen board-and-batten structure, built in 1890 by Noah Richards. To this were added a clapboard addition to the side, a porch to the rear, and a kitchen, also to the rear, giving the building its present L shape. The building is one of the oldest in the Ferndale area, which was originally known as Doe Run, and was occupied by two generations of the Richards family.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Walnut Grove Methodist Church is a historic church in rural western Pulaski County, Arkansas. It is located southwest of Little Rock, on the east side of Walnut Grove Road between County Roads 38 and 31. The modest wood-frame building has a single story, a gabled roof, rough-cut clapboard siding, and regional Greek Revival ornamentation. Its interior is finished with wooden planking, and it retains original period pews of similarly simple construction. Built in 1885, it is the oldest church in Pulaski County.The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Shinall Mountain is a peak in Pulaski County, Arkansas, located in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains on the western edge of Little Rock, the capital and most populous city of Arkansas. At an elevation of 1,056 feet (322 m) above mean sea level, it is the highest natural point in Pulaski County. Shinall Mountain is made of Carboniferous rocks, and plant fossils can sometimes be found in the blue-hued black shales comprising the sides of its bluff.

KURB (98.5 FM, B-98.5) is a commercial radio station in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is owned by Cumulus Media. The station won the "Ken Peterson Founder's Award for Station of the Year" in 2008 for its work with ACH.

The Hester-Lenz House is a historic house at 905 AR 5 N in Benton, Arkansas. Built in 1836 on what was then the Southwest Trail or the Military Road, it may be the oldest surviving house in Saline County that remains in its original location, and it may have been the location of a vote for independence of the state of Arkansas. The original construction, a two-story log dogtrot believed to have been built about 1836–37, was modified in the late 19th century by German immigrants with their distinctive vernacular styling.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. It has also been known as the Oscar F. Lenz House, as the Lenggenhager House.

KDJE (100.3 FM, "100.3 The Edge") is an active rock radio station located in Little Rock, Arkansas (licensed to suburban Jacksonville). The station's studios are located in West Little Rock, and the transmitter tower is located on Shinall Mountain, near the Chenal Valley neighborhood of Little Rock. Kevin Cruise is the current program director and Matt Cruz serves as assistant program director. The Edge signed on as a rock station in 2003, where 100.3 previously played hot-contemporary Top 40 music. However, in 2009, the station began incorporating classic heavy metal music by bands such as: Black Sabbath, Mötley Crüe, and also Led Zeppelin and AC/DC into their typical active rock format.

KMJX (105.1 FM) is a radio station in Little Rock, Arkansas. It has been on the air since 1967, making it one of the oldest stations to broadcast in Little Rock. The station's studios are located in West Little Rock, and the transmitter tower is located on Shinall Mountain, near the Chenal Valley neighborhood of Little Rock. KMJX has been 105.1 "The Wolf" broadcasting a classic country format since 2008. Originally known as Magic 105, playing the classic rock format, with Tommy Smith's Rock and Roll breakfast in the morning. For most of its run it was always among top five stations in the Little Rock market. However, ratings began to slip in the late 2000s. On February 22, 2008, KMJX began stunting with all-Beatles in preparation of a frequency-swap with 106.7FM KHKN "The Wolf", and a classic country format, and KHKN and became TOM FM playing "variety hits" or "adult hits," similar to Jack FM stations in other parts of the country. KKPT "94.1 The Point" was the only remaining Classic Rock station in Little Rock until KLRG signed on as a classic rock station in 2019. KMJX broadcasts in HD. KMJX is licensed by the FCC to broadcast a HD digital signal.The Classic Rock Channel formerly broadcast on its HD-2 subcarrier and streams via the iHeart radio app.
