Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park

The Laoshan Velodrome (Chinese: 老山自行车馆; pinyin: Lǎoshān Zìxíngchēguǎn) is a velodrome that is located in Laoshan, Shijingshan District, Beijing, China. It was built for the 2008 Summer Olympics. The venue was tested during the UCI Track World Cup in December 2007. The velodrome hosted track cycling disciplines during the Olympics. It has a capacity of 6,000 spectators, a 250-metre oval shaped track, and a total land surface of 32,920 square metres. The Laoshan Velodrome will be used for international and national cycling competitions and training after the Olympic Games. The seating capacity may be reduced to 3,500. The velodrome was designed by Schuermann Architects, designers of the ADT Event Center in Carson, CA and the UCI Cycling Center in Aigle, Switzerland.

Shijingshan Stadium (Simplified Chinese: 石景山体育场) is a multi-use stadium in Beijing, China. It is currently used primarily for football matches. The stadium holds 20,000 people. Stadium construction commenced in February 1981 and was completed in October 1986.

Bajiao Amusement Park station (simplified Chinese: 八角游乐园站; traditional Chinese: 八角遊樂園站; pinyin: Bājiǎo Yóulèyuán Zhàn) is a station on Line 1 of the Beijing Subway. It is near Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park.

Gucheng station (Chinese: 古城站; pinyin: Gǔchéng zhàn) is a station on Line 1 of the Beijing Subway. It is located in Gucheng Subdistrict, Shijingshan District, Beijing. It currently serves as the terminus of the line from 18 April 2020 until early 2024, due to station renovation at Pingguoyuan. The station used to be known as Guchenglu Station.

The Laoshan Mountain Bike Course (simplified Chinese: 老山山地自行车场; traditional Chinese: 老山山地自行車場; pinyin: Lǎoshān Shāndì Zìxíngchē Chǎng) is a mountain bike cycling venue located in western Beijing, China adjacent to the Laoshan Velodrome. It began its renovation and expansion program in May 2006. The course hosted the mountain bike competitions of the 2008 Summer Olympics. The project involves a competition course of 4.6 kilometres in circumference, a fixed building with a floor space of 8,275 square metres, a temporary spectator stand that seats 2,000 and other temporary facilities for competitions. The project was completed in the second half of 2007 and became a training base for the Chinese cycling team. It was also opened to the public after the 2008 Games.

The Laoshan Bicycle Moto Cross (BMX) (simplified Chinese: 老山小轮车赛场; traditional Chinese: 老山小輪車賽場; pinyin: Lǎoshān Xiǎolúnchē Sàichǎng) was one of 9 temporary venues used for the 2008 Summer Olympics. It was located in Laoshan, Shijingshan District, Beijing. The venue was used for the men's and women's BMX racing events. The arena has in recent years been transformed into decay.[1]

Shijingshan District (Chinese: 石景山区; pinyin: Shíjǐngshān Qū) is an urban district of the city of Beijing. It lies to the west of the urban core of Beijing, and is part of the Western Hills area, bordering the districts of Haidian to the northeast and east, Fengtai to the south, and Mentougou to the west. The district consists of 9 subdistricts of Beijing's city proper. Although the hills around Yunju Temple may also be called Shijingshan, they have Chinese characters different from those of the district and hence are unrelated to Shijingshan District. It is 86 square kilometres (33 sq mi) in area, making it one of the smaller districts in the greater urban part of Beijing (the immense Mentougou District to the west of it dwarfs Shijingshan District), and is home to 489,439 inhabitants (2000 Census). Its postal code is 100043.

Liaogongzhuang station (Chinese: 廖公庄站; pinyin: Liàogōng Zhuāng zhàn) is a station on Line 6 of the Beijing Subway. The station is located at the junction of Tiancun Road and Jushan Road in Haidian District. It was opened on December 30, 2018.

The Beijing Shooting Range Hall (simplified Chinese: 北京射击馆; traditional Chinese: 北京射擊館; pinyin: Běijīng Shèjīguǎn) is a shooting hall located in Shijingshan District, Beijing. It hosted the qualifying rounds and finals of ten shooting sports events at the 2008 Summer Olympics, consisting of all 10-, 25- and 50-metre events. It was the venue of the first gold medal awarded at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. The entire shooting sports events for the 2008 Summer Paralympics were also held at this venue.

Shifeng Bridge (simplified Chinese: 石丰桥; traditional Chinese: 石豐橋; pinyin: Shífēng Qiáo) is a cable-stayed bridge on Beijing's western 5th Ring Road. It is near Wanping, near the Marco Polo Bridge. Nearly 1.4 kilometres in length, it is a trademark bridge of the 5th Ring Road. Under the bridge runs many railways to other parts of China. The bridge is so named because it crosses from Shijingshan District into Fengtai District. Shifeng Bridge is well illuminated at night.

The Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery (Chinese: 八宝山革命公墓) is Beijing's main resting place for the highest-ranking revolutionary heroes, high-ranking government officials and, in recent years, individuals deemed of major importance due to their contributions to society. In Chinese, Babaoshan literally means "The Eight-Treasure Mountains". The cemetery is located in Babaoshan Subdistrict, Shijingshan District, in western Beijing Municipality.

The Beijing Shooting Range Clay Target Field (simplified Chinese: 北京射击场飞碟靶场; traditional Chinese: 北京射擊場飛碟靶場; pinyin: Běijīng Shèjīchǎng Fēidié Bǎchǎng) is a shooting range in the Shijingshan District of Beijing, China. During the 1990 Asian Games, the shooting range was used for shooting and archery competitions. It was under renovation and was completed in August 2007 for the 2008 Summer Olympics. At the 2008 Olympics, the shooting range hosted men's and women's skeet shooting and trap shooting events. It has floor space of 6,170 square metres with a capacity of 5,000 seats which was reduced to 1,047 after the Games.
