Banappa Park is a public park in Bangalore that has been used by various popular movements right from the days of Freedom Struggle or Indian independence movement. On average at least two rallies, attended by hundreds of people, are held every week at Banappa Park, off Hudson Circle. Many Leaders including Mahatma Gandhi have given inspiring talks and awareness speeches here in this park.

Sir M. Visveshwaraya Stn., Central College is a station in the Purple Line of the Namma Metro in Bangalore, India, opened to the public on 30 April 2016. The station acquires its name from the nearby University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, which had been named after M. Visvesvaraya, an Indian engineer, scholar, statesman and the Diwan of Mysore from 1912 to 1918.

The church was established in 1904, and is a Kannada CSI church of the Bangalore Diocese. The church has around 4000 registered members and is named after Rev. Josiah Hudson, a missionary, Canarese scholar and educationist who started many Canarese schools in the Bangalore Petah region. The church was earlier known as the Wesleyan Mission Canarese Chapel, and was located in Ganikara Street, Nagarathpet, and moved the current location at Hudson Circle and renamed as Hudson Memorial Church in 1904. The church attracts people of all faiths, who visit the church to seek blessing, especially in Thursdays and Sundays.

University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) was established in 1917, under the name Government Engineering College, by Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya. It is the 5th engineering college to be established in the country and 1st in Karnataka. UVCE is one of the few technical institutions in the country that is vested with the status of a university and autonomy on the lines ot IITs. It is one of the oldest technical institutions in the country, imparting technical education leading to B.Tech., B. Arch., M.Tech., M. Arch. and PhD degrees in the various disciplines of Engineering and Architecture. The college is approved by the AICTE and the Government of Karnataka. UVCE has secured an NAAC accreditation score of 3.17 (A Grade). The college receives financial aid under the TEQIP program from the World Bank.A committee has been formed by the Government of Karnataka, headed by S. Sadagopan as the chairman to explore the procedure of granting autonomy to the institute.

Kanteerava Indoor Stadium, also known as the Sree or Sri Kanteerava Indoor Stadium, is an indoor sporting arena located in Bangalore, India, near Cubbon Park, within the heart of city in the Central Administrative Area. The capacity of the arena is 4,000 people. Sampangi Lake was changed to create this sports complex. The design uses an elliptical dome.The Stadium hosted the SABA Championship in 2015 and 2016. India's national basketball team won the gold medal on both occasions. Further, Team India has frequently used the facility for training sessions.

The Rice Memorial Church is located in the busy Avenue Road, Bangalore Pete. It is named after Rev. Benjamin Holt Rice, a missionary of the London Missionary Society (LMS), a Canarese scholar and a pioneer of education in the Bangalore Pete region. The Rice Memorial Church stands on a busy street in the midst of temple, dargahs, book shops and heavy traffic, with its colonial British structure appearing to be out of place in the traditional Bangalore market district. The church stands on the site of the London Mission Canarese Chapel built by Rev. Rice, which itself was built on the site of the first Canarese chapel built by William Campbell in 1834. The church is a stone building in the European Classical style, with Tuscan columns, pediments and keystone arch windows. The church building has been demolished and raised at least 3 times, with the current structure consecrated in 1917.Heritage conservationists have been increasingly urging authorities to include the church, along with other important landmarks on the heritage list, as these monuments are being increasingly threatened by the development of Bangalore City. There has been proposals for widening of Avenue Road, which would result in damage or loss of the Rice Memorial Church and other monuments. The Rice Memorial is part of the proposed 'Palace-to-Palace' Heritage Corridor (or Golden Corridor), linking Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace (on Albert Victoria Road) to the Bangalore Palace, passing through KR Road, Avenue Road and Palace Road. The corridor proposed by Bangalore's well known architect Naresh Narasimhan, with consultations from Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) has however has not been accepted by the Government of Karnataka.

The Sree Kanteerava Outdoor Stadium, formerly known as the Sampangi Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Bengaluru, India. It houses a running track, a football field, a volleyball court and two outdoor rock climbing walls. The stadium is owned by the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, Government of Karnataka. It is the largest sporting complex in Bengaluru.The stadium was opened in 1946 and was constructed on the bed of the Sampangi Lake. Then housing a cinder track, a synthetic running track was laid in the 1990s leading up to the 1997 National Games of India by SVEC Constructions Ltd for ₹220 million, and was completed by 31 May 1997.
