Knockanure (Irish: Cnoc an Iúir) is a village and civil parish in County Kerry, Ireland. It is near the town of Listowel and the village of Moyvane.

Duagh (Irish: Dubháth, meaning 'black ford') is a village in County Kerry, Ireland, located approximately 7 km southeast of Listowel and 7 km northwest of Abbeyfeale on the R555 road. It is also a civil parish and townland.Duagh is a dormitory village for Listowel and Abbeyfeale and a local service centre for the rural hinterland. There is one shop, three public houses, two housing estates, a hardware store and petrol station/shop which are located on the village's only street at the centre of the village. Social facilities include a church and heritage/community hall and a Gaelic Athletic Association Club located at the centre of the village. The local primary school is also located in the village centre.

Moyvane GAA is a Gaelic Athletics Association club from Moyvane in north County Kerry, Ireland. They play in Division 5 of the County League, Kerry Novice Football Championship and North Kerry Senior Football Championship. They also participate in the Kerry Senior Football Championship through the divisional side Feale Rangers.

Clounmacon are a Gaelic football team in north County Kerry in Ireland. They play in Division 5 of the county league. Clounmacon players also participate in the Kerry Senior Football Championship with the divisional side Feale Rangers.

Moyvane (Irish: Maigh Mheáin, meaning 'main or middle plain'), also sometimes known as Newtownsandes, is a small village in County Kerry in the south west of Ireland. It is situated off the N69 road between Listowel to the southwest and Tarbert to the north. The village of Knockanure lies to the immediate south. The parish in which the village is located is now also known as the "Parish of Moyvane". It was originally called the parish of Murhur, which was part of the historic barony of Iraghticonnor.

Purt Castle or Port Castle (Irish: Caisleán Phort Trí Namhad) is a ruined Geraldine castle near Abbeyfeale, County Limerick, Ireland. The castle is known variously as 'Purt Castle', 'Port Castle', or 'Portrinard Castle' in sources.The remains of the castle are situated in the townland of Port (Irish: Port Trí Namhad) about 2 km northwest of the town of Abbeyfeale, on the north bank of the River Feale.Originally built by the Earls of Desmond in the 15th century, a plaque on the site indicates that it was destroyed c. 1580 during the Second Desmond Rebellion. Only fragmentary remains of the rectangular tower house still stand.

Ahane (Irish: Áthán) is a small townland approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) west/northwest of Brosna village in County Kerry. It is close to the border with County Limerick. The area consists mostly of dairy farms. As of the 2011 census, it had a population of 32 people in 11 houses. Ahane townland is in the historic barony of Trughanacmy, and has an area of approximately 2.5 square kilometres (1 sq mi).

It is in the municipal district of Listowel, barony of Iraghticonnor and civil parish of Kilnaughtin, and the former rural district of Listowel and dispensary district of Tarbert. It contains the townlands of Carhoonakilla, Cockhill, Dooncaha, Glancullare North, Glancullare South, Glansillagh, Gurteenavallig, Kilmurrily, Meelcon, Pulleen, Shanaway East, Shanaway West, Tarmon East, Tarmon Hill, and Tarmon West, for a total area of 4,999.525 acres (2,023.236 ha). The population was 207 in 1901 and 521 in 2011.

Athea ( a-TAY; Irish: Áth an tSléibhe or Áth Té) is a village in west County Limerick, Ireland. Athea has a Roman Catholic church, and is the centre for the parish of Athea, which encompasses several nearby townlands.

St Michael's College, is an all-boys secondary school serving the town of Listowel, and the greater north Kerry catchment area. The school is situated on the banks of the River Feale, and on the Cahirdown Road, Listowel.
