Pampanga, officially the Province of Pampanga (Kapampangan: Lalawigan ning Pampanga; Tagalog: Lalawigan ng Pampanga), is a province in Central Luzon, Philippines. Lying on the northern shore of Manila Bay, Pampanga is bordered by Tarlac to the north, Nueva Ecija to the northeast, Bulacan to the east, Manila Bay to the south, Bataan to the southwest, and Zambales to the west. Its capital is San Fernando, the regional center of Central Luzon. Angeles City is the largest city in Pampanga but is administratively independent. It has been self-governing since receiving its charter in 1964. The name La Pampanga was given by the Spaniards, who found natives living along the banks (pampáng) of the Pampanga River. It was created in 1571 as the first Spanish province on Luzon (the province of Cebu in the Visayas is older, founded in 1565). The town of Villa de Bacolor briefly served as the Spanish colonial capital when Great Britain occupied Manila during the Seven Years' War. On the eve of the Philippine Revolution in 1896, Pampanga was one of eight provinces placed under martial law for rebelling against the Spanish Empire. It is represented on the Flag of the Philippines by one of the eight rays of the sun. Pampanga is served by Clark International Airport (formerly Diosdado Macapagal International Airport), which is in Clark Freeport Zone, some 16 kilometers (9.9 mi) north of the provincial capital. The province is home to two Philippine Air Force airbases: Basa Air Base in Floridablanca and the former United States Clark Air Base in Angeles. Due to its growing population and developments, the Clark Global City is now being developed and is located in Clark Freeport Zone. In 2015, the province had 2,198,110 inhabitants, while it had 1,079,532 registered voters.

The Church of San Vicente Ferrer is located in Calulut, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines. It was established as a parish in 1914. Originally, it encompassed 28 barangays from as far as Anao in Mexico to the east, Dolores to the south, Telabastagan to the north and a number of villages of San Fernando on the west side along what is now known as McArthur Highway.

SM City Pampanga is a shopping mall owned and operated by SM Prime Holdings. It is located along the Jose Abad Santos Avenue (formerly Olongapo-Gapan Road) in San Fernando and Mexico in the province of Pampanga. It has a land area of 31 ha (3,300,000 sq ft) and a total gross floor area of 132,484 m2 (1,426,050 sq ft). It is the first SM Supermall in Central Luzon and is currently the second largest shopping mall in the Northern and Central Luzon. The shopping mall is composed of the Main Building, Annex 1, Annex 2 and Annex 3. The mall's exterior facade and interior has similarities to SM City Davao and SM City CDO Uptown.

The University of the Assumption (U.A.) is a private archdiocesan Catholic university in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines. The University of the Assumption is the first Catholic archdiocesan university in the Philippines and in Asia. It is among the top schools in the region, based on its accredited programs, and licensure and professional examination results.

The Mother of Good Counsel Minor Seminary is the minor seminary of the Archdiocese of San Fernando, in the Pampanga province of the Philippines. It houses thirty-five minor seminarians as of formation year 2024-2025. Its current director is Rev. Fr. John Florand L. Cortez, its current spiritual director is Rev. Fr. Jasper Laurence Sanita, and its current prefect of discipline is Rev. Fr. John Lu Allan Nucum.

Mexico (also known as Masiku), officially the Municipality of Mexico (Kapampangan: Balen ning Mexico; Tagalog: Bayan ng Mexico), is a municipality in the province of Pampanga, the Philippines. According to the 2024 census, it has a population of 187,597 people. It was also formerly known as Nuevo México during the Spanish period.

San Jose Matulid Chapel is an undated Roman Catholic chapel found at Barangay San Jose Matulid, Mexico, Pampanga, Philippines. It is under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of San Fernando, and is believed to be the first church of the town before the Augustinian Friars transferred to the present-day townsite of Mexico, Pampanga or now known as Barangay Parian.

SM City Telabagastan is a shopping mall located at the city of San Fernando, Pampanga. The mall officially opened on May 18 with gross floor area of 55,000 square metres (590,000 square feet); 84 percent was already leased. Numerous local events took place in the mall. The shopping center is located close to the MacArthur Highway while accentuating "colorful" designs according to SunStar. The mall has numerous shops in a total of 150 stalls spanning from technology to food. The mall has numerous parking spaces: 728 slots for cars, 720 slots for motorcycles, and 92 slots for bicycles.

The School of the Holy Child, Angeles, Inc. (SHCAI), also known as Holy Child, is a privately owned Catholic independent pre-elementary, elementary and high-school campus from ages 3 (Nursery) to 17 Senior Year). It was founded by Mr. and Mrs. Pablo Kabigting. It is currently located at 101 George Ave. Villa, Angelina Subd., Angeles. Although SHCAI is a Catholic, Non-Sectarian, Independent School, it also houses members and practitioners of other religions. The school is recognized in pre-elementary, elementary, high-school levels by the Department of Education Region III. A member of the Angeles City Association of Private Schools (ACAPS) and Association of Private Pre- elementary and Elementary Administrators of Region III, the institution is known for practicing high caliber education and promoting Christian formation.

Holy Angel University is a private Catholic research university in Angeles City, Philippines. Founded in June 1933 by Don Juan Nepomuceno and Fr. Pedro Paulo Santos, who was later named as the Archbishop of Cáceres, it is considered the first lay-founded Catholic school as well as the first co-educational Catholic high school. With a student population of over 21,000, it is the largest private institution of higher education with the largest student population in a single campus in Central Luzon.
