Cresta is a suburb of Randburg, South Africa, situated near the border of Johannesburg. Although it is mostly a residential area, in the middle is Cresta Shopping Centre, for which the suburb of Cresta is most well-known.Cresta is close to the N1 highway, which passes nearby, as well as Beyers Naude Drive, both main roads to and from the CBD and the Greater Johannesburg area.

Darrenwood is a suburb in Randburg, South Africa. It lies against the boundary of Johannesburg. Neighbouring suburbs include Linden, Cresta (and the Cresta Shopping Centre), Aldara Park and Blackheath. Darrenwood is predominantly residential, although the Darrenwood Sports Centre, Darrenwood Shops and the Darrenwood Dam also exist. It was really only in the 1960s that a substantial number of people started setting up home in Darrenwood.

Cresta Shopping Centre is a shopping centre in Johannesburg, South Africa. It is located on the border of Northcliff and Cresta. It has gone through multiple extensions and refurbishments. The mall is owned by Pareto, a unit of the Public Investment Corporation.The original design of the shopping centre had a model train which would run through the centre of the shopping centre stopping at various places around the inner mall to allow passengers off. The train would then come out one of the entrances and around a loop. Turning the train around inside the centre was done on a giant turntable, which became more popular to watch than the train itself. The train was removed in approximately 1992. Cresta was built in 1977. The first refurbishment finished in 1987 for the tenth anniversary adding the section from present day Showbiz ending just past Edgars. It was during this refurbishment that the train was added with the outside fun park with castle and pirate ship with water cannons. The transformation to family shopping mall is probably the recipe for its success. In 1990 the second refurbishment was completed bridging the road and adding an ice skating rink. The ice skating rink was subsequently changed into a cinema complex. In 2002 more additions were added including a third floor near CNA, an extension and parking lot at Stuttafords where the original Checkers stood, and an extension past the cinemas including a theatre and restaurant complex. Further remodeling and expansion was announced in 2012 and 2013.

Delta Park is one of the biggest parks in Randburg, Johannesburg, South Africa. It is adjacent to the suburbs of Blairgowrie and Victory Park. It comprises 108 hectares of grassland and woodland, and three tree-lined dams. It has walking trails, a "sensory trail" and bird watching hides. It incorporates the Florence Bloom Bird Sanctuary and the Delta Environmental Centre. The latter offers wildlife-related courses to adults and children, including holiday programmes; about 20 000 children take part in the programmes every year.

The Johannesburg Botanical Garden is located in the suburb of Emmarentia in Johannesburg, South Africa. The gardens grew out of a large rose garden that was established in 1964 (becoming known locally as the "Rose Garden") and subsequently expanded from 1969 to cover an area of around 125 hectares (1.25 km2). It is administered by Johannesburg City Parks. The Emmarentia Dam is situated immediately to the east of the garden and shares its extensive acreage. One of the main attractions is the Rose Garden with over 10 000 roses.

Northcliff is a wealthy residential suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa. The suburb is located on Northcliff Ridge which provides views to both the north and the south. Northcliff's huge homes are nestled around a steep incline of the hill, and on the foot of Northcliff borders the suburbs of Fairland, Blackheath, Cresta and Berario. Recently some streets have been secured with boom gates. Although erroneously included by Google Maps as part of Randburg, Northcliff has never been part of Randburg. It is located in Region B of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality.

Blackheath is a suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa. It is located in Region B of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality. Situated north-west of the Johannesburg CBD, it is north of the suburb of Northcliff.
