Golf Club St. Leon-Rot is a golf club in St. Leon-Rot, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, 20 km south of Heidelberg. It hosted the Deutsche Bank - SAP Open TPC of Europe in 1999, 2001, 2002 and 2004, Tiger Woods winning on the first three occasions. It also hosted the 2015 Solheim Cup. The club was founded in 1997 by SAP co-founder Dietmar Hopp. There are two 18 hole courses, called St. Leon and Rot. The Solheim Cup was played on the St. Leon course while the Junior Solheim Cup was played on the Rot course.

Kronau is a municipality in the Northern Karlsruhe district in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Bad Schönborn-Kronau station is one of two stations in the town of Bad Schönborn in the German state of Baden-Württemberg, but it is less busy than Bad Schönborn Süd station. It is located between the Bad Schönborn district of Bad Mingolsheim and the municipality of Kronau on the Rhine Valley Railway. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn (DB) as a category 6 station. The station is on the border between the fare zones of the Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund (Karlsruhe Transport Association, KVV) and the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Neckar (Rhine-Neckar Transport Association, VRN). Since December 2003, it has been almost exclusively served by services on lines S3 and S4 of the Rhine-Neckar S-Bahn.

The Battle of Mingolsheim (German: Schlacht bei Mingolsheim) was fought on 27 April 1622, near the German village of Wiesloch, 23 km (14 mi) south of Heidelberg (and 8 km or 5 mi south of Wiesloch), between a Protestant army under General von Mansfeld and the Margrave of Baden-Durlach against a Roman Catholic army under Count Tilly. Early in the spring of 1621, a mercenary force under the command of Georg Friedrich, Margrave of Baden-Durlach, crossed the Rhine River from Alsace to junction with a force under Ernst von Mansfeld. Combined, the armies aimed to prevent a link-up between Count Tilly and Gonzalo Fernández de Córdoba, arriving with an army 20,000 strong from the Spanish Netherlands under orders from General Ambrosio Spinola. Tilly met the Protestant army at its rear guard and drove upon it. This attack was successful until he engaged the main Protestant body, and was then rebuffed. Tilly retreated and bypassed the stationary Protestant army to link up with de Córdoba later that month. After the battle, Mansfeld found himself at a distinct disadvantage until the armies of Christian of Brunswick could arrive from the north. The two armies would engage later in the month at the Battle of Wimpfen.

Bad Schönborn Süd station is the busier of two stations in the town of Bad Schönborn in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. The other is Bad Schönborn-Kronau station. It is located on the Rhine Valley Railway in the district of Bad Langenbrücken. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn (DB) as a category 4 station. It has three platforms and is located in the area of the Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund (Karlsruhe Transport Association, KVV), which manages regional rail services and sets fares. Since December 2003, it has been exclusively served by services on lines S3 and S4 of the Rhine-Neckar S-Bahn.

Bad Schönborn is a municipality in northern Karlsruhe district in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located on the Bertha Benz Memorial Route. In 1971, two previous towns Bad Langenbrücken and Bad Mingolsheim were combined, and the town was named Bad Schönborn after Damian Hugo von Schönborn, archbishop of Speyer (1719–1743), who built Kislau Castle in Bad Mingolsheim.Bad Schönborn is famous for being a health resort with mineral springs, and this spa offers the largest roofed swimming area in Germany to people with a wide range of diseases, e.g. rheumatism. Bad Schönborn is one of the well-known health resorts in Baden-Württemberg due to its sulfur and thermal water. It has numerous spa and rehabilitation facilities. The development of the St. Lambertus thermal fountain, which the former mayor Willhauck promoted, was a major factor in the upswing of the health resort. Under his successor, Bender, the Thermarium was inaugurated in the current spa area in Mingolsheim in 1975. The most important local clinics and rehabilitation centers are the St. Rochus Clinic in Bad Mingolsheim, the Sigmund-Weil and Gotthard Schettler Clinic, and the Sigel Clinic and the Mikina Clinic in Bad Langenbrücken. Archbishop Franz Christoph von Hutten founded the sulphur spa in Bad Langenbrücken in 1766. A famous citizen is the minister of the interior of Baden-Württemberg parliament Heribert Rech, and the singer Joana Emetz. The Battle of Mingolsheim took place near Mingolsheim during the Thirty Years' War on April 27, 1622.

Wiesloch-Walldorf station is in the towns of Wiesloch and Walldorf in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. The station is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 3 station. Leimbach Park and the Wiesloch Feldbahn and Industrial Museum are located to the north of the station, with the headquarters of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen and SAP SE on the south-western side.

The Leimbach Park (German: Leimbachpark or Park am Leimbach) is a linear park and 100-year flood prevention scheme opened in October 2016 in Wiesloch, Germany. It is part of a larger ecological enhancement of the River Leimbach. The park follows the River Leimbach downstream from Wiesloch to a larger 1.4-hectare (3.5-acre) area just north of Wiesloch-Walldorf station, part of the former Tonwaren-Industrie Wiesloch brickworks.As of 2019 a narrow-gauge railway track connection runs northwards from the Leimbach Park, via the Landratsamt district government office to the Wiesloch Feldbahn and Industrial Museum.
