The Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI; traditional Chinese: 經濟部標準檢驗局; simplified Chinese: 经济部标准检验局; pinyin: Jīngjìbù Biāozhǔn Jiǎnyànjú) is the administrative agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Taiwan (ROC) responsible for standardization, metrology and product inspection in Taiwan.

The Taipei Metro Daan Park station is a metro station on the Red Line located beneath Xinyi Rd, Sec. 3 between Xinsheng South Rd. and Jianguo South Rd. in Da'an District, Taipei, Taiwan. It is located at the northern end of the Daan Forest Park for which it is named after. The station was opened on 24 November 2013.

Daan Forest Park (Chinese: 大安森林公園) is a public park near the centre of the Da'an District of Taipei, Taiwan. The park occupies twenty-six hectares and is bordered on its north, south, east and west by Xinyi Road, Heping Road, Jianguo Road and Xinsheng Road, respectively. The park is used by residents of Taipei as a green activity space and for various outdoor activities. The park was created in 1994 after the eviction of longtime squatters and the demolition of illegal buildings on municipal land, not by mayor Chen Shui-bian, as is often cited, but by his predecessor, Huang Ta-chou.

The American Institute in Taiwan (AIT; Chinese: 美國在台協會; pinyin: Měiguó Zài Tái Xiéhuì) is the de facto Embassy of the United States of America in Taiwan. The AIT institution is a wholly owned subsidiary of the federal government of the United States in Taiwan with Congressional oversight. The AIT was officially created as a U.S. government-sponsored non-profit, private corporation established under the auspices of the U.S. government to serve its interests in Taiwan. Primarily staffed by employees of the United States Department of State and local workers, the AIT provides consular services normally offered by normal United States diplomatic missions, with the Great Seal of the State Department hung at AIT's main office in Taipei. The establishment of diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China (PRC) in 1979 required acknowledgment of the "one-China policy" and subsequent termination of diplomatic relations with the Republic of China (Taiwan). The AIT now serves to assist and protect U.S. interests in Taiwan in a quasi-official manner, and also processes US visas and provides consular services to U.S. expatriates. Following the swift passage of the 2018 Taiwan Travel Act by the United States, it now serves as a high-level representative bureau on behalf of United States in Taiwan. It receives full protection from the United States Marine Corps as do all US Embassies.American Institute in Taiwan Kaohsiung Branch Office is a division of the AIT institution located in southern Taiwan.

The Taipei Main Public Library (Chinese: 臺北市立圖書館; pinyin: Táiběi Shìlì Túshūguǎn) is the central library of Taipei City, Taiwan. It is the main library of the Taipei Public Library System. The building is located in Jianguo South Road, Da'an District, near the Daan Forest Park.

Taipei Private Yan Ping High School (Chinese: 臺北市私立延平高級中學; pinyin: Táiběi Shì Sīlì Yánpíng Gāojí Zhōngxúe) is located in Daan District, Taipei City, Taiwan.

Rerum Novarum Centre, Taipei, increased operations in 1971 but had roots going back to Jesuit social services in Taiwan since the 1950s. The Centre tries to meet the major social and legal needs of native and foreign workers in the greater Taipei area, while also responding to emergencies and to the needs of the aboriginal peoples of Northern Taiwan.

The Affiliated Senior High School of National Taiwan Normal University (HSNU; Traditional Chinese: 國立臺灣師範大學附屬高級中學, 附中, 師大附中) is a Taiwanese senior high school (or "high school," as opposed to "middle school" in certain usages). It is ranked top 2 among all the senior high schools in Taiwan, usually with a requirement of PR98 and above on the National Senior High School Entrance Exams. The campus is located in Da-an District in Taipei, Taiwan.

Jinhua Park (traditional Chinese: 金華公園; simplified Chinese: 金华公园; pinyin: Jīnhuá Gōngyuán) is a park in Da'an District, Taipei, Taiwan.

The Taipei Grand Mosque (Chinese: 台北清真寺; pinyin: Táiběi Qīngzhēnsì; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tâi-pak Chheng-chin-sī) or Taipei Zheng He Mosque (Chinese: 台北鄭和清真寺; pinyin: Táiběi Zhèng Hé Qīngzhēnsì; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tâi-pak Tēⁿ Hô Chheng-chin-sī) is the largest and oldest mosque in Taiwan. Located in the Da'an District of Taipei City, it is Taiwan's most important Islamic structure.

The Chang Foundation Museum (traditional Chinese: 鴻禧美術館; simplified Chinese: 鸿禧美术馆; pinyin: Hóngxǐ Měishùguǎn) is an art museum in Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan.

Dongmen (Chinese: 東門) is a metro station in Taipei, Taiwan served by Taipei Metro. It is an interchange station with the Tamsui–Xinyi line and the Zhonghe-Xinlu Line, which opened on 24 November 2013. The station opened on 30 September 2012 with the opening of the Zhongxiao Xinsheng to Guting segment of the Xinzhuang Line.
