The Universal College Islamabad (UCI), formerly known as University College of Islamabad, is a higher education university based in Sector F-8/2 in Islamabad, Pakistan.Universal College Islamabad was founded in 1992 by Dr. Alan Bicker with the support of prominent Pakistani scientists who noticed a dearth of quality higher education. UCI is a pioneer in offering the University of London International Programmes (EMFSS and Law) in Pakistan. Dr. Maria Catalina Alliende is the Principal of the College.UCI offers University of London LLB, Higher National Diploma (HND), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (CA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), ACCA the UK and others. All the University of London International Programmes are recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.UCI collaborated in 2021 with Monroe College, New York City, USA and introduced the first bilateral American MBA program in Pakistan.

The Embassy of Austria in Islamabad is the diplomatic mission of Austria to Pakistan. It is located at 7-A, Street 21 in Sector F-8/2, Islamabad. Austria and Pakistan established diplomatic relations in 1956.The embassy provides consular services to Austrian citizens in Pakistan, and oversees bilateral relations between both countries. It is concurrently accredited to Afghanistan.The current Austrian ambassador to Pakistan is Andrea Wicke, appointed in October 2022.

Bahria College Islamabad (Urdu: بحریہ کالج اسلام آباد) is a school located in Islamabad, Pakistan. Its foundation stone was laid by the Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Iftikhar Ahmed Sirohey on 30 August 1986 under the supervision of Pakistan Navy.

Daanish Schools are free education schools for underprivileged children in the Punjab. Described as the brainchild of Shehbaz Sharif when he was the Chief Minister of Punjab, the schools admit 110 students annually in which 10 fee-paying students can also take admission out of total 110 students and the remaining 100 are admitted on merit and are offered free of cost education. The project of these schools was started in 2010. Students study in 14 daanish schools (7 for boys and 7 for girls). The school administration runs on the basis of an act uniquely established for these schools called The Daanish School Act passed by Provincial Assembly of the Punjab.

It offers programs in undergraduate, post-graduate, and doctoral studies. Its research is directed towards the development of engineering, philosophy, natural, social, and medical sciences. Bahria University has multidisciplinary programs that include Health Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Computer Sciences, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Law, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Psychology and Maritime Studies. The university is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities of the United Kingdom. The university research institutes offer scientific research in the development of medical, environmental, natural sciences as well as in engineering and philosophy. Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Urdu: پاکستان دانش کدہ برائے طبّی سائنس, abbreviated as PIMS) is a research oriented health sciences institute located in Islamabad, Pakistan.It is one of the region's leading tertiary level hospitals which includes 22 medical and surgical specialist centers. It provides medical training through the Quaid-e-Azam Postgraduate Medical College which was established on 1 February 1989.Later on Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University was established through act of parliament in 2013. The first vice chancellor was professor Dr. Javed Akram who served till 2018.

The Faisal Mosque (Urdu: فیصل مسجد, romanized: faisal masjid) is the national mosque of Pakistan, located in the capital city, Islamabad. It is the fifth-largest mosque in the world, the largest mosque outside the Middle East, and the largest within South Asia, located on the foothills of Margalla Hills in Islamabad. It is named after the late King Faisal of Saudi Arabia. The mosque features a contemporary design consisting of eight sides of concrete shell and is inspired by the design of a typical Bedouin tent.A major tourist attraction in Pakistan, the mosque is a contemporary and influential piece of Islamic architecture.Construction of the mosque began in 1976 after a $28 million grant from Saudi King Faisal, whose name the mosque bears. The unconventional design by Turkish architect Vedat Dalokay was selected after an international competition. Without a typical dome, the mosque is shaped like a Bedouin tent, surrounded by four 260 feet (79 m) tall minarets. The design features eight-sided shell shaped sloping roofs forming a triangular worship hall which can hold 10,000 worshippers.Combined the structure covers an area of 33 acres (130,000 m2; 1,400,000 sq ft), the mosque dominates the landscape of Islamabad. It is situated at the north end of Faisal Avenue, putting it at the northernmost end of the city and at the foot of Margalla Hills, the westernmost foothills of the Himalayas. It is located on an elevated area of land against a picturesque backdrop of the national park. Faisal Mosque was the largest mosque in the world from 1986 until 1993 when it was overtaken by the mosques in Saudi Arabia. Faisal Mosque is now the sixth largest mosque in the world in terms of capacity.

The Embassy of Algeria in Islamabad is the diplomatic mission of Algeria to Pakistan. It is located at House No. 107, St. No. 9, in Sector E-7, Islamabad. Pakistan was one of the first countries to recognise the Provisional Government of the Algerian Republic in 1958. This was followed shortly later by Algeria opening its diplomatic mission in Karachi, then the capital of Pakistan.The embassy provides consular services to Algerian citizens in Pakistan, and facilitates bilateral relations between the two countries. It also promotes cultural relations. In 2014, the embassy arranged ballot voting amongst its citizens for the Algerian presidential election.The current Algerian ambassador to Pakistan is Brahim Romani, who is concurrently also the non-resident ambassador to Bangladesh.
