M Woods Museum is an independent, not-for-profit art museum founded in 2014 by collectors Lin Han and Wanwan Lei, which opened to the public in the autumn of 2014, and is located in Beijing's 798 Art Zone. The M WOODS 798 site is housed in a former munitions factory in Beijing's 798 art district, and in 2019 M WOODS opened its second museum space, M WOODS Art Community, located in the city's historic Dongcheng district. Regarding the origin of the museum's name, Lin Han told Asian Art in a 2016 interview that “M is the initial of my mother’s given name, Miao. Woods is a play on the English translation of the Mandarin character for Lin which means wood or forest.”In addition to exhibitions of the M Woods permanent collection, the museum presents a year-round program of exhibitions, performances, music, education, live events and talks that situate contemporary art at the heart of the city and beyond. M Woods was granted official non-profit status by the Chinese government in 2015. Also in 2015, art collector Michael Xufu Huang joined as co-founder at the age of 22.In September 2019, Michael Xufu Huang announced his resignation and withdrawal of his collection from M WOODS Museum. Huang will open a separate museum (X Museum) in March 2020.In 2019 Victor Wang was appointed the museum's first Artistic Director and Chief Curator.

Dashanzi (大山子, Pinyin: Dàshānzi) is a 1 square kilometer area in the Chaoyang district of Beijing, northeast of the city center. It lies along the Airport Expressway between the 4th and 5th Ring Roads, south of the Dashanzi flyover (大山子桥, Pinyin: Dàshānzi Qiáo) and opposite Wangjing. Most of the area is made up of an industrial park. One of its most notable features is the 798 Art District also known as Dashanzi Art Zone, one of the most cosmopolitan areas of Beijing.

798 Art Zone (Chinese: 798艺术区; pinyin: 798 Yìshùqū), or Dashanzi Art District, is a complex of 50-year-old decommissioned military factory buildings boasting a unique architectural style that houses a thriving artistic community in Dashanzi, Chaoyang District, Beijing. The area is often called the 798 Art District or Factory 798 although technically, Factory #798 is only one of several structures inside the complex formerly known as 718 Joint Factory. The buildings are within alleys number 2 and 4 on Jiǔxiānqiáo Lù (酒仙桥路), south of the Dàshānziqiáo flyover (大山子桥). The area is anchored by the UCCA Center for Contemporary Art, the largest and most visited venue in the area. In recent years, it has been the main venue for the annual Beijing Queer Film Festival and Beijing Design Week.

Caochangdi (simplified Chinese: 草场地; traditional Chinese: 草場地; pinyin: Cǎochǎngdì) was an urban village and renowned arts district located in the Chaoyang District of northeast Beijing at the intersection of the 5th Ring Road and Airport Expressway. Translated as "grasslands" in Mandarin, Caochangdi was home to a diverse group of residents, including migrant workers, farmers, students and artists, most notably, Ai Weiwei. Caochangdi developed into a thriving arts and cultural hub when artists began to move into the area around 2000, attracting international attention similar to the nearby 798 Art Zone. Demolition of the village began in July 2018.

Three Shadows Photography Art Centre (Chinese: 三影堂摄影艺术中心), is a non-profit art centre in Beijing established in 2007 by photographers RongRong and inri. Three Shadows is the first contemporary art space dedicated exclusively to photography and other lens-based art in China. A converted auto repair yard, the 4,600 square meter complex includes 880 square meters of gallery space and was designed by renowned artist and architect Ai Weiwei. Three Shadows is situated in the art district of Caochangdi, on the outskirts of Beijing.

Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics (BJU, Chinese: 北京和睦家医院) was the first international standard hospital established in China. It opened in 1997 as a joint venture between China International, Inc. and the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. Beijing United Family was the first foreign-invested hospital to operate in China. In 2009, the hospital had 50 beds and sees over 2,500 patients every week with its 17 departments and services.The hospital has imported equipment and modern facilities, and has the capability to diagnose and treat medical problems ranging from minor ailments to severe illness. It includes modern 24-hour emergency and intensive care services. Beijing United Family was the first hospital in China to receive accreditation from the United States-based, nonprofit, Joint Commission International (JCI). The facilities and quality of care at BJU are on an international standard and strive to match those of healthcare providers in the United States and Europe.The hospital is staffed by a team of over 100 doctors from 15 different countries, China, Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. These specialists are supported by a team of English-speaking nurses. BJU has over 500 support workers. Wangjingnan (Chinese: 望京南站; pinyin: Wàngjīng Nán Zhàn) is a station on Line 14 of the Beijing Subway. It is located in the south of the Wangjing area in Chaoyang District. The station opened on 28 December 2014.

Gaojiayuan station (Chinese: 高家园站; pinyin: Gāojiāyuán zhàn) is a station on Line 12 and Line 14 of the Beijing Subway. The station is expected to open in 2024.

Jiangtai (simplified Chinese: 将台站; traditional Chinese: 將台站; pinyin: Jiāngtái Zhàn) is a station on Line 14 of the Beijing Subway. The station opened on 28 December 2014.

The China Railway Museum (simplified Chinese: 中国铁道博物馆; traditional Chinese: 中國鐵道博物館; pinyin: Zhōngguó Tiědào Bówùguǎn) is a Chinese museum preserving locomotives that have operated on the railways of the People's Republic of China. The museum offers a total exhibition space of 16500m² and 8 exhibition tracks. The museum is located in Chaoyang District of Beijing City, some 15 km northeast of downtown Beijing, inside the circular test track that is part of the China National Railway Test Centre. It also has a branch in downtown Beijing, in the former Zhengyangmen East Railway Station near Tian'anmen Square.

Wangjing SOHO (Chinese: 望京SOHO; pinyin: Wàngjīng SOHO) is a complex of three curvilinear asymmetric skyscrapers in Wangjing in Beijing, China, between central Beijing and Beijing Capital International Airport. The towers contain both office and retail space. Originally the SOHO was designed as a two-tower complex but due to height concerns it was redesigned as a three-tower project featuring towers of lower maximum height. One of the more than a dozen properties developed by SOHO China, the complex officially opened on 20 September 2014. The tallest of the three towers is the seventh-tallest woman-designed building in the world.

INDIGO, Beijing (Chinese: 颐堤港), is a mixed use development in the Jiang Tai neighbourhood of Chaoyang District in Beijing, China. It comprises a large indoor shopping mall, a 25-storey office tower called One INDIGO, as well as a 369-room business and lifestyle hotel EAST, Beijing (北京东隅) run by Swire Hotels.
