The Pars Stadium (Persian: ورزشگاه پارس Varzešgâh-è Pârs, lit. 'Persia Stadium') is a multi-use stadium in Shiraz, Iran. It is mostly used for football matches. The stadium holds 50,000 people. The stadium is the fourth largest stadium in Iran. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Persian Gulf League side, Fajr Sepasi F.C. The stadium also is used for some matches of Bargh Shiraz F.C. and Qashqai F.C. in Azadegan League.

Koruni (Persian: كروني, also Romanized as Korūnī) is a village in Qarah Bagh Rural District, in the Central District of Shiraz County, Fars province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 2,037, in 525 families.

The Shiraz bombing was an April 12, 2008 explosion that occurred during prayers at the Hosseynieh Seyed al-Shohada Mosque in the southern Iranian city of Shiraz, Fars province. Fourteen people were killed and 202 were injured.

Adelabad Prison (زندان عادل‌آباد) is a prison located in the southern Shiraz, Iran. As the central prison of Shiraz, Adelabad was initially constructed in an uninhabited area south of the city. However, due to the expansion of Shiraz, it is now located within the urban limits. Several notable political prisoners have been incarcerated here, including Navid Afkari, Kasra Nouri, Vahid Afkari, Ali-Akbar Masoumi Beigi, and Ezzatollah Sahabi, from pre-1979 Revolution to the present.

Khatunak (Persian: خاتونك, also Romanized as Khātūnak) is a village in Qarah Bagh Rural District, in the Central District of Shiraz County, Fars province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 926, in 215 families.

Shiraz Pasargad Higher Education Institute is a research and education branch of Shiraz University. The university has over 2000 students in six Associate's degrees programs (A.S.), seven Bachelor's degrees programs (B.S.), and five Master's degree programs.

Fahmideh Square is a square in the southern part of Shiraz, Iran where Artesh Boulevard meets Ahmadi Street and Sarv Street. It goes to Shahzadeh Qasem Intersection in the north, Artesh Square in the west and 12 Farvardin Square in the east.

Zand Institute of Higher Education (Persian: موسسه غیر انتفاعی زند, Musish-e Qir-e Antefa'i-ye Zend) also known as Zand University is an educational establishment in Iran. It was established by virtue of the 1994 Law of non–governmental and non-profitable universities and institutions. Zand institute of higher education is governed according to educational regulations of the High Council of Cultural Revolution and the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, the latter endorsing its credential degrees.

12 Farvardin Square is a square in southern Shiraz, Iran, where Jannat Street (Shishegari) and Artesh Boulevard meet each other. Fahmideh Square is to the west, and Rahmat Highway to the south.
