Blaagaard Seminarium (also spelled Blågård Seminarium) has been the name of two teacher training colleges both originating in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. The first of them, which was the first teacher training college in Denmark, changed its name to Jonstrup Seminarium in 1808. The second one was founded in 1859. They merged in 1992 and are now part of University College Capital (UCC).

The 2010 Copenhagen terror plot was a terrorist plot against Jyllands-Posten, the publisher of the controversial cartoons of Muhammad in 2005.

Nørre Gymnasium is one of Copenhagen’s largest gymnasiums offering both Danish instruction as well as the International Baccalaureate curriculum. It was founded in 1818 by Caroline Wroblewsky as a school for young girls, and since 1972 it has been located in Husum, Denmark.

Gladsaxe Kommune is a municipality (Danish, kommune) near Copenhagen in Region Hovedstaden on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 25 km2 (10 sq mi), and has a total population of 70,001 (2023). Its mayor is Trine Græse, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party. The site of its municipal council is the town of Buddinge. Other towns in the municipality are Gladsaxe, Bagsværd, and Mørkhøj (Søborg is often mentioned wrongly, but it is just a part of Buddinge)—but town limits are not distinguishable because the towns have grown together in an urban sprawl. Mørkhøj, Værebro in Bagsværd and Høje-Gladsaxe are larger housing projects and home to many immigrants and being typical for many concrete highrise suburbs in Copenhagen. Picture of Gladsaxe Heights:[1]At Gladsaxe, there is a 206.5-metre-tall (677 ft) guyed TV mast, which was built in 1955. It was the first TV transmission site in Denmark. Since 2014, Gladsaxe has been home to Copenhagen gem and mineral show, the largest gem and mineral show in Scandinavia. The show is an annual two-day event that attracts exhibitors from all around the world and an audience of thousands from Denmark and Sweden. Gladsaxe municipality was not merged with other municipalities by 1 January 2007 as the result of nationwide Kommunalreformen ("The Municipal Reform" of 2007).

Tingbjerg is a large housing project designed and built from 1950 to 1972 by Steen Eiler Rasmussen as principal architect. It is located in Copenhagen County, 6 km northwest of the center of Copenhagen in Denmark. The area is idyllic in its own green pocket surrounded by Vestvolden and Utterslev Mose. There is plenty of light and air, beautiful nature and rich wildlife. The inhabitants are mixed with Danes and immigrants. Of 6,566 inhabitants, 42% are native Danes, 37% are immigrants and 21% are Danes with immigrant parents.

Mørkhøj is a suburb 10 km northwest of central Copenhagen, Denmark. Mørkhøj is part of Gladsaxe Municipality. The area is mixed with single-family homes and public housing and light industry. The popular Danish children's TV-show Bamses billedbog was recorded in the Gyngemosen area of Mørkhøj, at the time a forest area, which has since been turned in to an apartment complex. The chimney of the main character Bamses house can be found in the kindergarten Børnehuset Solstrålen, which previously also had the door to the house, which has since been vandalised, and later stolen. Mørkhøj has two primary schools, Enghavegård skole, and Mørkhøj skole, as well as a teacher's college, called Blaagaard Seminarium

The Villum Foundation (Danish: Villum Fonden); formerly Villum Kann Rasmussen Foundation (Villum Kann Rasmussen Fonden) was set up in 1971 by civil engineer Villum Kann Rasmussen (1909–1993). 10 years later, he set up the Velux Foundation (Velux Fonden). Rasmussen was the founder of VELUX and Velfac, Danish window companies. Both foundations are part of VKR Holding A/S, owned by the Rasmussen family and the Villum Foundation, which is the main shareholder.The foundations fund scientific, cultural, artistic and social projects, and award honorary prizes. In 2018, they together granted EUR 118 million divided among 1,015 donations. The money comes from the revenues of the VKR Group and income generated by the foundations’ other assets.

Husum is a predominantly residential neighbourhood in the Brønshøj-Husum district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Located approximately 7 km to the northwest of the city centre, between Vestvolden and Utterslev Mose, it is centred on Frederikssundsvej and Husum Torv. The area to the north of Frederikssundsvej is dominated by Housing estates while the area to the south of the street consists mainly of single-family detached home and terraced houses.

Høje Gladsaxe is a large housing project, approximately 10 km northwest of central Copenhagen, Denmark. The project contains five 15-storey blocks, two 8-storey blocks and some smaller blocks. It contains around 2,500 apartments. The project was finished in 1966.

Tingbjerg Idrætspark is an association football facility in Brønshøj, Denmark. Nicknamed Tingbjerg Ground, it is the home stadium of 2nd Division club Brønshøj Boldklub. The facility consists of a football stadium, an artificial pitch, a single gravel pitch with artificial lights and six natural grass football pitches. The stadium has a capacity of 6,000, of which 600 is seated.The stadium's record attendance was set in 1991 at a match between Brønshøj and Næstved in front of 2,500 spectators.

Husum station is a station on the Frederikssund radial of the S-train network in Copenhagen, Denmark. It serves the area around the former village Husum, and is also the S-train station that is easiest to reach by bus from Mørkhøj in Gladsaxe and parts of northern Rødovre municipality.

Gladsaxe Stadium (Danish: Gladsaxe Stadion) is a sports center located on Gladsaxevej 200, Søborg, Gladsaxe Municipality, in Copenhagen, which is primarily used for association football matches. The stadium hosts a number of training courses for running the football, handball and softball and hosts a restaurant. The ground is the home ground of Akademisk Boldklub and Gladsaxe-Hero Boldklub (rail size: 68 x 105 meters, and lighting: 700 lux.). The stadium has a capacity of 13,800, of which 8,000 are covered seats. The construction of the plant was started in 1938 and named Gladsaxe Idrætspark Marielyst. The inauguration of the facility took place on 26 May 1940. Recent renovation was started on 16 November 1998 and included construction of one long side with both upper and lower grandstand and a sponsor lounge. The plant was subsequently inaugurated under its new name, Gladsaxe Stadium, 12 September 1999 [1] [2]. The opposite stand is from the 1960s and the two end stands are only standing room without a roof. Plant spectator record was set on April 18, 2004 with 10,039 spectators in the Superliga match between Akademisk Boldklub and FC Copenhagen.The ground hosts international rugby league in Denmark.
