Tingbjerg Idrætspark is an association football facility in Brønshøj, Denmark. Nicknamed Tingbjerg Ground, it is the home stadium of 2nd Division club Brønshøj Boldklub. The facility consists of a football stadium, an artificial pitch, a single gravel pitch with artificial lights and six natural grass football pitches. The stadium has a capacity of 6,000, of which 600 is seated.The stadium's record attendance was set in 1991 at a match between Brønshøj and Næstved in front of 2,500 spectators.

Blaagaard Seminarium (also spelled Blågård Seminarium) has been the name of two teacher training colleges both originating in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. The first of them, which was the first teacher training college in Denmark, changed its name to Jonstrup Seminarium in 1808. The second one was founded in 1859. They merged in 1992 and are now part of University College Capital (UCC).

Høje Gladsaxe is a large housing project, approximately 10 km northwest of central Copenhagen, Denmark. The project contains five 15-storey blocks, two 8-storey blocks and some smaller blocks. It contains around 2,500 apartments. The project was finished in 1966.

TV-Byen is the former headquarters of national Danish broadcaster DR, located in Gladsaxe, approximately 9 kilometres northwest of central Copenhagen, Denmark. The 207,000 m2 site has been redeveloped with a mixture of offices, housing and retail after DR inaugurated their new headquarters, DR Byen in 2007.

Gladsaxe Kommune is a municipality (Danish, kommune) near Copenhagen in Region Hovedstaden on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 25 km2 (10 sq mi), and has a total population of 70,001 (2023). Its mayor is Trine Græse, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party. The site of its municipal council is the town of Buddinge. Other towns in the municipality are Gladsaxe, Bagsværd, and Mørkhøj (Søborg is often mentioned wrongly, but it is just a part of Buddinge)—but town limits are not distinguishable because the towns have grown together in an urban sprawl. Mørkhøj, Værebro in Bagsværd and Høje-Gladsaxe are larger housing projects and home to many immigrants and being typical for many concrete highrise suburbs in Copenhagen. Since 2014, Gladsaxe has been home to Copenhagen gem and mineral show, the largest gem and mineral show in Scandinavia. The show is an annual two-day event that attracts exhibitors from all around the world and an audience of thousands from Denmark and Sweden. Gladsaxe municipality was not merged with other municipalities by 1 January 2007 as the result of nationwide Kommunalreformen ("The Municipal Reform" of 2007).

Brønshøj-Husum is one of the 10 official districts of Copenhagen, Denmark. The district is bisected by Frederikssundsvej and consists mainly of vast areas of single family detached homes. It lies on the northwest border of the municipality. It covers an area of 8.73 km², has a population of 39,588. The district, now a quiet suburban area, has developed around the two old villages of Brønshøj and Husum. With 24.6% of the inhabitants having a non-Western background, Brønshøj-Husum is the most diverse district of Copenhagen.

Nørre Gymnasium is one of Copenhagen’s largest gymnasiums offering both Danish instruction as well as the International Baccalaureate curriculum. It was founded in 1818 by Caroline Wroblewsky as a school for young girls, and since 1972 it has been located in Husum, Denmark.

Husum is a predominantly residential neighbourhood in the Brønshøj-Husum district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Located approximately 7 km to the northwest of the city centre, between Vestvolden and Utterslev Mose, it is centred on Frederikssundsvej and Husum Torv. The area to the north of Frederikssundsvej is dominated by Housing estates while the area to the south of the street consists mainly of single-family detached home and terraced houses.

Gladsaxe Stadium (Danish: Gladsaxe Stadion) is a sports center located on Gladsaxevej 200, Søborg, Gladsaxe Municipality, in Copenhagen, which is primarily used for association football matches. The stadium hosts a number of training courses for running the football, handball and softball and hosts a restaurant. The ground is the home ground of Akademisk Boldklub and Gladsaxe-Hero Boldklub (rail size: 68 x 105 meters, and lighting: 700 lux.). The stadium has a capacity of 13,800, of which 8,000 are covered seats. The construction of the plant was started in 1938 and named Gladsaxe Idrætspark Marielyst. The inauguration of the facility took place on 26 May 1940. Recent renovation was started on 16 November 1998 and included construction of one long side with both upper and lower grandstand and a sponsor lounge. The plant was subsequently inaugurated under its new name, Gladsaxe Stadium, 12 September 1999 [1] [2]. The opposite stand is from the 1960s and the two end stands are only standing room without a roof. Plant spectator record was set on April 18, 2004 with 10,039 spectators in the Superliga match between Akademisk Boldklub and FC Copenhagen.The ground hosts international rugby league in Denmark.

Buddinge is a suburb 10 km northwest of central Copenhagen, Denmark. The suburb used to be a small village, but by the 1960s merged with nearby suburban areas, subsequently becoming a suburb. The suburb is part of Gladsaxe municipal and is connected by the S-Train with two stations: Buddinge and Kildebakke. [1]
