Homestead Dairy Barns, also known as Miller Mill and Inn at Gristmill Square, is a historic dairy barn complex and national historic district located at Warm Springs, Bath County, Virginia, USA. The district encompasses seven contributing buildings. The complex consists of the Main Barn with its attached tile double silos, a Bottling Building, Milking Barn, Calving Barn, Ham House, Herdsman's Cottage, and Bull Barn. The complex was built by the Virginia Hot Springs Company in 1928 to support the operations of the nearby Homestead resort. They are frame buildings, many of which are clad in stucco and painted white with unifying green trim. They include repetition of Colonial Revival and Craftsman details throughout. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Oakley Farm, located at 11865 Sam Snead Highway (US 220) in Warm Springs, Virginia, includes the brick house named Oakley that was built starting in 1834, and completed before 1837, as a two-story side-passage form dwelling with a one-story front porch with transitional Federal / Greek Revival detail. It was later expanded and modified to a one-room-deep center passage plan dwelling with a two-story ell. The house was expanded and remodeled to Colonial Revival style during 1921–22, "according to a design apparently conceived by the Staunton architectural firm T. J. Collins and Sons." A two-story kitchen and service wing was added. Also on the property are a contributing laundry and wood house and a garage, both built in 1922; a 19th-century log cabin that may originally have served as a slave cabin; a Long Barn and a machinery shed (ca. 1905); two stables of Colonial Revival design dating to the 1920s or early 1930s; and a fieldstone wall. It includes Federal and Greek Revival architecture. Oakley Farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. The listing included ten contributing buildings and five other contributing structures on 60 acres (24 ha).

Warm Springs Mill, also known as Miller Mill and Inn at Gristmill Square, is a historic grist mill complex and national historic district located at Warm Springs, Bath County, Virginia. It was built in 1901, and is a three-story, gable-roofed frame building, with an iron overshot Fitz water wheel with the original mill race. The mill remained in operation until 1971, after which it was renovated for use as a restaurant and bed and breakfast. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Warm Springs is a census-designated place (CDP) in and the county seat of Bath County, Virginia, United States. The population as of the 2020 census was 121. It lies along U.S. Route 220 near the center of the county. Warm Springs includes the historical mill town called Germantown. To the west lies West Warm Springs.

The Warm Springs Pools are historic spa structures in the town of Warm Springs, Virginia. The name was changed in the 20th century from "Warm Spring Pools" to "Jefferson Pools" before being returned to its original name in 2021. The spa is part of The Homestead, a resort hotel in nearby Hot Springs. The spas are naturally fed by a 98 °F (37 °C) mineral spring. The men's spa holds 40,000 US gallons (150,000 L) of constantly flowing water. In total, the springs in Warm Springs have a flow rate of 1,700,000 gallons of water per day. The water naturally contains minerals including magnesium sulfate, iron, silica, boron, barium, manganese, and lithium. Currently, guests can book one-hour soak sessions in the pools. Omni Hotels offers family sessions where all ages, including children are welcome, or adult co-ed soaks for ages 16 and up. Keeping with tradition, there are also clothing-optional soaking times available, when the pools are separated by sex.

Bath County High School—the only high school in Bath County, Virginia—is a VHSL Class 1 high school serving students in grades 8-12.

West Warm Springs is an unincorporated community in Bath County, Virginia, in the United States. In 2021, the Virginia Department of Historic Resources dedicated a commemorative plaque recognizing West Warm Springs as a significant place in the history of African Americans in the Commonwealth of Virginia. According to the official press release from the commemoration ceremony, African Americans recently freed from slavery purchased parcels of land west of Warm Springs and founded the community in the antebellum period of the American Civil War. Residents gained employment at the Warm Springs Pools or the Homestead Resort, or they fashioned careers as tradespeople and entrepreneurs. West Warm Springs is an important example of an Appalachian freedmen's town. Community members of West Warm Springs gradually erected spaces for worship, education, and community life. Of note, the John Wesley Methodist Episcopal Church and Cemetery, founded in 1873, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

Garth Newel Music Center is a 501c3 not-for-profit educational institute located on a 114-acre mountainside property near Hot Springs in Bath County, Virginia. Recipient of the 2012 CMAcclaim Award from Chamber Music America for their contributions to the field of chamber music, Garth Newel Music Center celebrated its 40th anniversary in the summer of 2013. Garth Newel, a Welsh phrase meaning "new hearth" or "new home," was the name given to the property in the 1920s by William Sergeant Kendall and Christine Herter Kendall. Home to the Garth Newel Piano Quartet, the Center offers over 60 concerts annually. The annual Summer Chamber Music Festival, which takes place on weekends between late June and Labor Day, features twenty performances by the quartet and their guests and performances by Fellowship (student) ensembles. Other annual performances include three three-day "Fall Foliage" concert weekends each October; Thanksgiving and New Year's Holiday Weekends; wintertime "pub" concerts, and three concert weekends each May, as well as the annual Virginia Blues and Jazz Festival each June and an American Made concert series that features bluegrass, old time and other traditional American music forms. Recent Music Center musical guests have included: The Parker String Quartet, Ensō, Dadealus and Borromeo String Quartets.

John Wesley Methodist Episcopal Church and Cemetery, also known as John Wesley United Methodist Church and Wesley Chapel, is a historic Methodist Episcopal church and cemetery located at West Warm Springs, Bath County, Virginia. It was built by former slaves in 1873, and is a one-story, front-gabled, log church, clad in weatherboard with a stone foundation. A frame vestibule with bell tower was added to the front of the church and a choir loft rear extension was added in 1923. In 1982 a one-story, frame Sunday School addition, clad in vinyl siding was built by volunteers and added to the southeast elevation. The church represents the lone built representation of the first decades of the African-American settlement at West Warm Springs. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

Mitchelltown is an unincorporated community in Bath County, Virginia, in the United States. The community is located along U.S. Route 220, north of Hot Springs, Virginia and south of Warm Springs, Virginia. The community is the location of Valley Supermarket, making it a common artery of the Bath County community.

The 1967 U.S. Women's Open was the 22nd U.S. Women's Open, held June 29 to July 2 at the Cascades Course of The Homestead, in Hot Springs, Virginia. This winner was Catherine Lacoste, age 22, the first international and youngest champion at the time and the only amateur to ever win the title. She held a five-stroke lead after 36 and 54 holes, and despite a final round 79, held on for a two-stroke victory margin over runners-up Susie Maxwell and Beth Stone. It was also the first win by an amateur on the LPGA Tour. Defending champion Sandra Spuzich finished fifteen strokes back, tied for 27th place.
