The Roman Catholic Diocese of Belgaum (Latin: Belgaumen(sis)) is a diocese located in the city of Belgaum in the ecclesiastical province of Bangalore in India.

Belagavi (Belgaum) division is one of the four divisions of Karnataka state of India. The division comprises the districts of Bagalkot, Belgavi, Bijapur, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri and Uttara Kannada. It covers a geographical area of 44,538 square kilometres (17,196 sq mi) and had a population of 13,499,721 at the 2011 census. Belgaum (Kannada ISO: Bēḷagāma, IPA: [beːɭɐɡaːmɐ]), officially known as Belagavi (also Belgaon), is a city in the Indian state of Karnataka located in its northern part along the Western Ghats.
