San Pasquale (Naples Metro)

The Palazzo Ravaschieri di Satriano is a monumental palace on the Riviera di Chiaia number 287, in Naples, Italy. The palace was commissioned in 1605 by Prince Ravaschieri di Satriano, and was one of the first palaces built in shores of Chiaia. In 1675, it was the home of the Viceroy Fernando Fajardo y Álvarez de Toledo, who refurbished the facade and courtyard. Many famous visitors to Naples have stayed here, including Goethe in 1787, as guest of Princess Teresa Ravaschieri, wife of Prince Filippo Ravaschieri Fieschi di Satriano, and sister of Gaetano Filangieri. These owners commissioned the architect Ferdinando Sanfelice, to construct a staircase between the original two floors. It had many subsequent owners, and now has been subdivided into apartments and businesses. In the mid 19th century, the architect Gaetano Genovese rebuilt the main floors.

Piazza dei Martiri (in Italian: Martyrs' Square) is a monument-containing square in Naples, Italy, located at the junction of Via Domenico Morelli and Santa Caterina, one block north of the eastern end of the large seaside park known as the Villa Comunale. The square was originally dedicated to Santa Maria a Cappella, but took on patriotic significance when Italy was united in 1861.

The Palazzo Partanna, also once known as Palazzo Coscia, is a monumental palace located on Piazza dei Martiri 64-66 on the western edge of the neighborhood of Chiaia in Naples, Italy. The palace faces the Piazza dei Martiri.

The Nunziatella Military School of Naples, Italy, founded November 18, 1787 under the name of Royal Military Academy (it.: Reale Accademia Militare), is the oldest Italian institution of military education among those still operating. Its building, familiarly called "Red Manor" (it.: Rosso Maniero), and the adjacent church of the Santissima Annunziata, is an architectural monument of the city of Naples. Located in Pizzofalcone in via Generale Parisi, 16, it was a place of high military and civilian training since its foundation, and had among its teachers and students the likes of Francesco de Sanctis, Mariano d'Ayala, Carlo Pisacane, Guglielmo Pepe, Enrico Cosenz and even a king of Italy, Vittorio Emanuele III, and a Viceroy of Italian East Africa, Prince Amedeo, Duke of Aosta. Among the many alumni of prestige, high degrees of the Armed Forces, including one Director of the European Union Military Committee, two Chiefs of Defence Staff, five Army Chiefs of Staff, two Navy Chiefs of Staff, one Air Chief of Staff, two Commanders General of the Guardia di Finanza (and two Vicecommanders), two Commander General of the Carabinieri (and eight Vicecommanders) and two Directors-General of the Information Services need to be cited. As for the civilian alumni, three Prime Ministers, 14 Ministers, 13 senators and 11 deputies of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, the Kingdom of Italy and the Italian Republic, a President of the Constitutional Court, as well as representatives of absolute importance of the cultural, political and professional Italian and international landscape, including a winner of the prestigious Sonning Prize, awarded to the most important European intellectuals, have to be remembered. The flag of the school is decorated with a Gold Cross of Merit of the Carabinieri, and a bronze medal at the Valor of the Army. Its former students have earned 38 gold medals, 147 silver medals and 220 bronze medals for military valor; 1 gold medal for civil valor; and numerous other awards for valor. A total of 21 of them are decorated with the Military Order of Italy and 56 of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic. For its role in the last three centuries "in the field of higher education, as a academic, social and economic motor for Italy and all the Mediterranean countries linked to it", on February 22, 2012 it was declared "Historical and cultural heritage of the Mediterranean countries" by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean. The School is also the winner of the Cypraea Prize for Science (1994) and the Mediterranean Award awarded by the Fondazione Mediterraneo (2012).The way as youth is here educated has no equal in the whole of Europe. Philosophy, patriotism, and experience would not have been able to conceive or carry more noble institution to form the temperament, reason, heart and all the knowledge required to military.

Santa Caterina a Chiaia (also known as Santa Caterina martire) is a Roman Catholic church located on via Santa Caterina 76 in Naples, Italy. It is located near Piazza dei Martiri in the Chiaia section of the city, near where Via Santa Caterina flows toward the tree-shaded Via Chiaia.

The Church of the Nunziatella is a Baroque-style church located inside the grounds of the military school of Nunziatella, in the quartiere of San Ferdinando in Naples, Italy.The Baroque style church was built in 1588 with the patronage of Anna Mendoza Marchesa della Valle, who donated the church to the Jesuits. In 1736, it was rebuilt wholly anew by the architect Ferdinando Sanfelice. In 1773, with the suppression of the Jesuit order, the complex was under the jurisdiction of Somaschi brothers, who established a college for sons of the Knights of Malta. The next year this became the Royal Military College and the Somaschi moved to the church of Gesù Vecchio. The church since then has become the chapel of the Nunziatella Military Institute. Originally, the church was dedicated to the Virgin of the Annunciation, but popularly the church was known as the "Annunziatella" o "Nunziatella", to distinguish it from the Basilica of Santissima Annunziata Maggiore. The name passed on to the adjacent military school.

The Palazzo Cellamare or Cellammare is a monumental palace located in via Chiaia 139 in the Quartiere San Ferdinando of Naples, Italy. The entrance is near the church of Santa Caterina a Chiaia.

Santa Maria degli Angeli a Pizzofalcone is a Baroque-style church in Naples, Italy. A church, designed by Francesco Grimaldi, was built at the site for the Theatine Order. Construction started in 1587 and was completed in 1610. The interior is decorated with paintings by Giordano, and Andrea Vaccaro. The central nave and transept ceilings were frescoed Scenes from the Life of the Virgin (1668-1675) by Giovanni Battista Beinaschi. The Cupola was frescoed with a Coronation of the Virgin. Some of these frescoes suffered damage from aerial bombing during the second World War. Francesco Maria Caselli painted the large canvases in the apse and transept. In the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception is a canvas depicting the Virgin by Massimo Stanzione, while Giovanni Bernardo Azzolino decorated the first and third chapels on the left side. In the choir is a canvas of San Gaetano (1662) by Luca Giordano. The main altar by Giovanni Battista Broggia was made in Neoclassic style. It has a canvas by Paolo De Matteis depicting Sant'Andrea in Extasis.

Palazzo Serra di Cassano is an aristocratic palace in Naples, Italy, built for the wealthy Serra family, one of the original 54 families of the 'old nobility' of Genoa, whose family was organized within an Albergo. The family insignia (crest) is frescoed on the ceiling of the Palazzo Serra's Great Hall. The family had economic interests in banking, insurance and law.

Sant'Orsola a Chiaia (also called Sant'Orsola dei Mercedari Spagnoli, or the Parish church of Santa Maria della Mercede a Chiaia) is a church in largo Sant'Orsola in the quartieri of Chiaia in Naples, Italy. Originally, this was the site of a small 16th-century chapel endowed by the Spaniard Annibale de Troyanis y Mortella and dedicated to Saint Ursula. In 1569 it was donated to fathers of the Order of Santa Maria della Mercede, who in 1576 demolished the chapel to build a new convent. The church was reconstructed. In 1875, the cloister that held the tombs of the monks was demolished and the Teatro Sannazaro was built instead. The convent held Mercedari priests till 1923. In the 19th century, the reconstruction added frescoes in the arches of the nave and ceiling, depicting Stories of the Virgin (1851) and Redemption of Captives (1852) by G. Gravante. In the transept are two canvases by unknown 16th-century artists.

Chiaia- Monte di Dio is an under construction underground metro station that will serve Line 6 on the Naples Metro. The station, designed by the architect Hubert Siola, will serve a wide area around the hill Pizzafalcone, on the border between the districts Chiaia and San Ferdinando. The surroundings of the station are rich in sites of interest, both from the point of view of art as the Piazza del Plebiscito, Palazzo Reale and the Galleria Umberto I, the San Carlo theater and Politeama, the lookout of Mount Echia, both from the administrative point of view as 1 Municipality of the City of Naples and the Prefecture, and the shopping streets like via Chiaia, via dei Mille and via Toledo.
