Legazpi (Madrid Metro)

Legazpi is an administrative neighborhood (barrio) of Madrid belonging to the district of Arganzuela. It has an area of 1.396410 km2 (0.539157 sq mi). As of 1 February 2020, it has a population of 19,820.

Matadero Madrid is the site of a former slaughterhouse, the El Matadero y Mercado Municipal de Ganados (English: Municipal Slaughterhouse and Cattle Market) in the Arganzuela district of Madrid. Today, it is a contemporary arts centre.

The Museo del Ferrocarril (Railway Museum) in Madrid, Spain, is one of the largest historic railroad collections in Europe. It is housed in a redundant railway station called Madrid-Delicias in the barrio of Delicias. The location is near the centre of Madrid. The railway museum opened in the Palacio de Fernán Núñez, which is now the seat of the Fundación de los Ferrocarriles Españoles. After an agreement between RENFE and the Ministry of Culture regarding the future of Las Delicias station, the collections were transferred to Las Delicias which opened as a railway museum in 1984.

Nor should it be confused with homonymous station of Madrid Metro, as there is no direct access between the two stations.

The Madrid Planetarium is a facility in Madrid, Spain, which was inaugurated in 1986. The equipment was updated in 2016/2017.With its free exhibitions and interactive displays, the Planetarium promotes science among the younger generations. Outside there is access to the Tierno Galvan Park, where children can play in an open auditorium.

Estadio Román Valero is a stadium located in Madrid, Spain, that is primarily used for association football. The stadium was built in 1945 and has a capacity of 5,000. CD Colonia Moscardó is one of its tenants. Concerts have also been held at the stadium, including performances by Iron Maiden, Meat Loaf, Judas Priest, Dire Straits, Black Sabbath, Def Leppard, The Police and Whitesnake. The stadium is located in the Usera district in the south of the city (specifically the Moscardó neighbourhood) and is within two blocks of Usera metro station.
