Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai (MNLU Mumbai) is a National Law University located at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. MNLU Mumbai offers a five-year integrated B.A LL.B.(Hons.) programme and LL.M. Programmes. Students have to qualify for CLAT to secure admission to UG or PG. Admissions are through Common Law Admission Test only. There 100 seats filled up by CLAT and 20 supernumerary seats are reserved for Foreign National/ NRI/ NRI Sponsored. Two supernumerary seats are reserved for Permanent Residents of Jammu and Kashmir. Chief Justice of India is the Chancellor of the university and Bhavani Prasad Panda was the founder Vice Chancellor (VC) of the university. As of December 2019 Prof.(Dr.) Dilip Ukey is the VC. Students have performed well in various fields like: Literary and Debating Competitions, Cultural Competitions, Moot Court Competitions, Alternate Dispute Resolution Competitions. MNLU Mumbai has entered into MoUs with various institutions of international repute including L’Universite’ Paris Nanterre and Berlin School of Economics and Law (BSEL), Germany, thereby facilitating regular student exchange programmes with these prestigious Universities. For the first two years MNLU Mumbai shared its campus with Tata Institute of Social Sciences. In 2017 it shifted its campus to the Centre for Excellence in Telecom Technology and Management at Hiranandani Gardens, Powai, Mumbai. Permanent campus is been set up at Gorai near Maharashtra Judicial Academy which will be of approx 60 Acres. The university also runs various extra credit and certificate courses such as Mediation, Data Protection Law and foreign languages such as German and Spanish on regular basis. MNLU Mumbai is steered by distinguished judges, senior advocates, seasoned bureaucrats and eminent academicians as members of its governing bodies. Adhering to the motto: Dharme Tatparta, the university is committed to championing the cause of social justice. It practices 'Zero Tolerance' towards any discrimination based on sex, race, creed, class, caste, place of birth, religious belief or professional or political or other opinion. With an aim of achieving excellence in research, the university in short span of time, has already established following research centres: 1. Centre for Clinical Legal Education (CCLE) 2. Centre for Maritime Law and Research (CML&R) 3. Centre for Research in Criminal Justice (CRCJ) 4. Centre for Information and Communication Technology and Law (CICTL) 5. Centre for Goods and Services Tax and Training (CGSTT) 6. Centre for Mediation & Research Due to its present location students have variety of internship opportunities as various civil and criminal courts and Principal Bench of Bombay High Court is within the city. Various keynote speakers here are distinguished Jurists, Judges of various High Courts, Advocates, IAS officers, businessmen, law firm attorneys and key politicians.

Powai (Pronunciation: [pəʋəiː]) is a residential neighbourhood located in central Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It is situated on the banks of Powai Lake, and is bound by the hills of Vikhroli Parksite to the south-east, Chandivali to the south-west, the L.B.S. Marg (old Mumbai-Agra road) to the north-east and the Sanjay Gandhi National Park to the north beyond the lake. The Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road, one of the city's busiest thoroughfares linking the western and eastern suburbs, passes through Powai,. IDC School of Design (Hindi: आईडीसी अभिकल्प विद्यालय), formerly Industrial Design Centre (IDC), is one of the oldest design schools in India, established in 1969 by the Government of India at the campus of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. It offers a 4-year Bachelors program in Design, an integrated program (5-year B.Des + M.Des) and a 2-year Master of Design program in Industrial Design, Communication Design, Animation, Interaction Design and Mobility & Vehicle Design. The school also has a Ph.D. program in Design. Industrial Design Centre (1969) at the IIT Bombay campus was established with the vision of catering to the country's Design needs primarily through interventions in Industrial Design through a post-graduate diploma. The center has spearheaded the needs of the time through research and innovations by offering the first Master's program in Industrial Design (1980). Responding to the changing conditions in the visual domain in society and the country, the first Master's Program (M.Des) in Visual Communication (1984) started. Further, to meet the liberalized economy's demand, specializations in Interaction Design and Animation Design (2006) derived from the Visual Communication discipline. The Mobility and Vehicle Design (2010) from the Industrial Design discipline With the introduction of India's first Ph.D program in Design (2005) and a four-year, eight-semester Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program (2015), and a five-year, ten-semester dual degree B.Des + M.Des program. It has earned its reputation from an 'Industrial Design Centre' to the 'School of Design' by well-established Programs in Design for all stages of Professional studies. The programs include Summer courses and Projects/Internships, Under graduation (B.Des), Dual Degree (B.Des & M.Des), Post-Graduation (M.Des), Doctoral Studies (PhD.), and Post-Doctoral Research and studies. However, the option of doing a second degree will be available only at the end of the 3rd year. Both these programs would be credit-based and thus offer the flexibility to progress at one's own pace. A minimum level of performance is essential for satisfactory progress. The medium of instruction is English. Over Fifty years of its illustrious existence, The evolved identity and expertise with constant improvements in its approaches led to becoming the leader in Design Education. With the first graduating batch of 2015-19 with a B.Des Degree and subsequently the first batch of Dual Degree (B.Des + M.Des) in 2020, IDC School of Design has celebrated its golden jubilee in the year 2020. IDC School of Design provides a conducive environment for research, academics, and collaborative projects. Supported by excellent research facilities, technical expertise, and IIT Bombay's academic diversity, the IDC School, has been involved with various initiatives in all design areas. The potential for innovation at IDC lies fundamentally in terms of solving real-world problems.
