Pulaski County High School (commonly PCHS) is a public secondary school located at 5414 Cougar Trail Road in Dublin, Virginia about 45 miles southwest of Roanoke, Virginia. It is the sole public high school in Pulaski County, Virginia and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Rockwood is a historic home and cattle / dairy farm located near Dublin, Pulaski County, Virginia. It was built in 1874–1875, and is a large two-story, Greek Revival style brick dwelling. It has a metal-sheathed hipped roof with a deck, interior brick chimneys, two-story semi-octagonal bay windows, ornamental metal lintels, and a Classical Revival wraparound porch added in the 1910s. The center section of the porch rises a full two stories on monumental Ionic order columns. Also on the property are the contributing smokehouse (1870s), garage, ice house site, two chicken houses, pump house, gate pillars, lamb barn, spring house, dairy barn, calf barn, mill house, two pump houses, bull barn, and a corn crib and wagon shed. Many of the contributing outbuildings date to the 1950s.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

It includes a variety of residential, commercial, and institutional buildings dated as early as the early-19th century. Notable buildings include the Adam Hance House, known locally as the "Summer Resort," Duncan-Meredith House, Colley house, the Haney Tavern, Vermillion and Stone's store, the Christian Church (1860), and Old Jail (1839).It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

It includes a variety of governmental, commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings dated primarily to the late-19th and early-20th century. Notable buildings include the MaGill building, B. D. Smith and Bros., building, Elks Theatre and building (c. 1911), former high school (c. 1913–1920), freight depot (1907), Pulaski Grocery Company building, the General Chemical Company, Christ Episcopal Church (1908), and the Appalachian Power Company building (c. 1940). The Dalton Theatre Building and Pulaski County Courthouse are located in the district and listed separately.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The town was named after Dublin in Ireland. A local legend says that the town was named after New Dublin Presbyterian Church, which was in turn named after Dublin, Ireland. The town is located near the site of the Volvo Group Trucks Operations New River Valley Cab and Vehicle Assembly plant, and near the KORONA Candles Inc. factory. The New River Valley Regional Jail is located in Dublin, Virginia, and it serves the counties of Bland, Carroll, Floyd, Giles, Grayson, Pulaski, Wythe, and the City of Radford, VA.

Notable buildings include the Sutton House, Norfolk and Western Railroad Depot (1913), Bower Funeral Service, Baskerville-St.Clair House, Darst Building (1871), Bank of Pulaski County, McCorkle House (1878), Dublin Presbyterian Church, Dublin Methodist Church (1875), Grace Baptist Church, and the Municipal Building.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Newbern is an unincorporated community in Pulaski County, in the U.S. state of Virginia. From 1839 until the court house burned in 1892, Newbern was the county seat of Pulaski County A large share of the early settlers being natives of Switzerland caused the name Newbern, after Bern, Switzerland, to be selected. The Newbern Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.Adam Hance began the town of Newbern in 1810, where the Wilderness Road or "Great road" passed directly through his grant of 1,400 acres. This holding was approximately halfway between Christiansburg, Virginia and Wytheville, Virginia. His home is located in the Newbern Historic District.

New Dublin Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church complex located at Dublin, Pulaski County, Virginia. It was built in 1875, and incorporates part of a church built in 1840. It is a one-story, gable-roofed stuccoed brick church building. It primarily exhibits Greek Revival style character, with Gothic Revival style influences. It features a front entry with fanlight, a rose window, two-bay side elevations, a metal sheathed gable roof, and a limestone foundation. Also on the property are a contributing 1874 manse, a cemetery established on the eve of the American Civil War, and an outbuilding.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.A 150 year old Copper Beech tree had toppled over in the yard of the Church in 2021.
