Padua College is an independent Roman Catholic boys' primary and high school located in the Brisbane suburb of Kedron, Queensland, Australia. The college derives its name from Franciscan friar Saint Anthony of Padua (1195–1231), appointed by St Francis as the first professor of theology for the friars. Padua is the university city of Northern Italy where St Anthony died. The College is the only school owned and operated by the Franciscan Friars in Australia and only the second in the Southern Hemisphere along with St Francis of Assisi College in Timor-Leste. Students of the college are known in the community as "Paduans". The college draws students from the central, northern and western areas of Brisbane.

Lutwyche Cemetery is a cemetery located at Kedron, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It opened in 1878 and saw its first burial in the same year. It is located at the corner of Gympie and Kitchener Roads, approximately ten kilometres north of Brisbane.

The road forms part of the main road route from the Brisbane Central Business District (CBD) to the northern suburbs, Sunshine Coast and east coast of Queensland. Gympie Road is designated A3 from Lutwyche Road, Kedron to the Gympie Arterial Road, Bald Hills. The road then continues as State Route 58 to Dayboro Road, Petrie, in the City of Moreton Bay. Gympie Road is named after the town of Gympie, north of the Sunshine Coast.

Stafford is a Legislative Assembly of Queensland electoral district in the state of Queensland, Australia.It is located in the inner northern residential suburbs of Brisbane. Suburbs in the current electorate include Stafford, Gordon Park, Grange, Kedron, Stafford Heights, and parts of Chermside, Chermside West, McDowall, Alderley, Wilston, Newmarket and Windsor. The Electorate includes the Prince Charles Hospital.Stafford was first formed in 1972, when it was won by Labor's Roy Harvey. This changed in 1974 when the seat went to Liberal Terry Gygar. Gygar held the seat until 1983, at which point he lost it to Labor's Denis Murphy, but after Murphy's death Gygar was able to retake the seat at the 1984 Stafford by-election. Gygar was re-elected in 1986 but lost the seat in 1989 to Labor's Rod Welford.In 1992 the seat was abolished, and Welford moved to Everton. But a redistribution saw the seat recreated in 2001 after Chermside and Kedron were amalgamated. Suburbs in the 2001–2006 electorate included Stafford, Chermside, Gordon Park, Kedron, Lutwyche, Stafford Heights and parts of Albion, Chermside West, Wavell Heights and Wooloowin. Labor's Terry Sullivan held the seat from 2001 to 2006 and Labor's Stirling Hinchliffe until 2012 when Liberal Nationals Chris Davis won the seat.A 2014 Stafford by-election was held on 19 July as a result of the resignation of Davis. The by-election was won by Labor's Anthony Lynham with a 62 percent two-party vote from a 19.1 percent two-party swing.

Wavell State High School is a coeducational independent public secondary school based in Wavell Heights, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The school has a total enrolment of more than 1500 students from years 7–12, with an official count of 1674 students in 2019. Since 2021, the role of Executive Principal of the School has been held by Elizabeth Foster. Some of the school's buildings are listed on the Queensland Heritage Register.

Kedron State High School is a Queensland public secondary school which is located in the inner-northern suburb of Kedron in Brisbane, Australia. The school was opened in 1956, to meet the needs of the rapidly expanding North Brisbane population whose children were members of the post-World War II baby boomer generation.Kedron is a co-educational and non-denominational school, renowned in Brisbane for offering a Special Education Unit for hearing-impaired students[1] and also for its accredited International Students Program[2]. In 2007 the school joined the Healthy State system and removed a large proportion of junk food including all soft drinks.

Wooloowin State School is a heritage-listed public co–educational primary school at 663 Lutwyche Road, Wooloowin, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was built from 1914 to 1934. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 13 January 1995.
