Bouzaréah

The Algerian Space Agency (ASAL; French: Agence spatiale algérienne, Arabic: الوكالة الفضائية الجزائرية, romanized: Al-Wakāla al-Faḍā’iyya al-Jazā’iriyya), was established on January 16, 2002 (2002-01-16) in Bouzareah, Algiers. The agency is in charge of the Algerian space program, and has flown five different satellites.

University of Algiers Abou El Kacem Saadallah, commonly called the Algiers 2 University (Arabic: جامعة الجزائر 2, French: Université d'Alger 2), is an Algerian public university located in Bouzareah (Algiers Province) in the north of the country. Created in 2009 after the division of the University of Algiers to three universities (University of Algiers 1, University of Algiers 2 and University of Algiers 3).

El Biar (from Arabic "الأبيار", meaning "The Wells") is a suburb of Algiers, Algeria. It is located in the administrative constituency of Bouzaréah in the Algiers Province. As of the 1998 census, it has a population of 52,582 inhabitants. The suburb's postal code is 16030 and its municipal code is 1610.

The Villa Montfeld is an historic residence in the El Biar district of Algiers, the capital of Algeria. The villa was built in the mid-19th century and was reconstructed in a Moorish Revival style by the English architect Benjamin Bucknall between 1878 and 1895. In 1947 the villa was bought by the US government for use as an ambassadorial residence. In 1981 Villa Montfeld hosted negotiations leading to the Algiers Accords, which ended the Iran hostage crisis.

The Lycée International Alexandre Dumas (LIAD; Arabic: ثانوية الكسندر دوما الدولية) is a French international school in Ben-Aknoun, Algiers, Algeria. It has two divisions: primaire (primary school) and collège-lycée (junior and senior high school). A spin off of the school was inaugurated in the city of Oran on December 3, 2017. Another exists in Annaba.

The American International School of Algiers (in Arabic: المدرسة الدولية الأمريكية بالجزائر; in Berber languages: Aɣerbaz Agreɣlan Amarikani n Dzayer), abbreviated as AISA, is a private, coeducational, international school based in Algiers, Algeria. It provides an academic program for English-speaking students from kindergarten to the seventh grade, taught by U.S. educators.

The Algiers Observatory was built in the late 19th century in the Algiers suburb of Bouzaréah, Algeria, North Africa. It participated in the Astrographic Catalogue project, taking the zone between -2 and +4 degrees to expose 1,260 plates between the years 1891 and 1911. At the tail end of that time, the director of the installation was François Gonnessiat. It is now known as the Centre de Recherche en Astronomie Astrophysique et Géophysique (CRAAG), where it combines astronomy with work in astrophysics, and geophysical research, including the monitoring of earthquakes.

Bouzaréah is a district in Algiers Province, Algeria. It was named after its capital, Bouzaréah.
