Kenwyn is a suburb of Cape Town, South Africa between the Southern Suburbs and Cape Flats. It is south of the N2. The surrounding suburbs include Lansdowne, Kenilworth and Wetton.

Kenilworth Racecourse Conservation Area is a 52-hectare (130-acre) nature reserve, situated in the centre of Kenilworth Racecourse, in Cape Town, South Africa. Due to its location, it has been left undisturbed for more than 100 years, making it now the best preserved patch of “Cape Flats Sand Fynbos” in the world.The reserve contains indigenous fynbos and wetlands – both permanent and seasonal. Among the hundreds of plant species that can be found here, at least 20 are threatened with extinction. There are also endemic species, and two plants (Erica verticillata and Erica turgida) are listed as extinct in the wild, but have recently been re-introduced here. The reserve is home to the critically endangered Micro Frog (Microbatrachella capensis) along with other small but healthy populations of mammals, reptiles, amphibians and birds. Invasive alien vegetation is a severe problem, especially Port Jackson willow (Acacia saligna) and domestic garden escapees.

The Royal Cape Golf Club in Cape Town, South Africa was established in 1885 and is the oldest golf club in Africa.

Rondebosch East is a residential suburb of Cape Town, South Africa, about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) south-east of the city centre. As the name suggests, it is located to the east of the neighbouring suburb of Rondebosch. As of 2001 it had a population of approximately 4,600 people in an area of just over 1 square kilometre (0.4 sq mi). A large common, similar to but smaller than nearby Rondebosch Common, is located in the center of the suburb.

William Herbert Sports Ground is a cricket ground in Wynberg, Cape Town, a region of Western Cape province in South Africa. The ground was first used in 1879. It hosted two first-class matches of the Dadabhay Trophy from 1972 to 1974. It also hosted matches of the Dadabhay Trophy, prior to getting first-class status, between 1958 and 1968. The first recorded match having official status on the ground was held on 1 January 1972, between Western Province and Natal.

Crawford is a suburb of Cape Town, South Africa, located to the east of the City Centre (CBD) on the Cape Flats to the south of the N2 highway. The suburb is surrounded by the suburbs of Lansdowne, Rondebosch East, Athlone, Belthorn Estate, Rylands, and Belgravia. The main roads through the area are (north to south) Jan Smuts Drive (M17) and (east to west) Turf Hall Road (M24) linking to the M5. Thornton Road was for many years the main thoroughfare for this suburb and a hotbed for anti-apartheid activity in 1976 and 1985. Thornton Road is the location of the Trojan Horse Memorial in honour of those killed in 1985. Crawford is served by a railway station of the same name on the Cape Flats Line. Crawford is the home of City Park Stadium, home of the historic City and Suburban Rugby Football Union where a number of well-known Cape Flats rugby union teams played, including Universal Rugby Football Club, Progress, Perseverance and others. City Park also hosted the annual City Fair and for some time was the location for the annual Christmas Band competition. Baseball and softball were also played there during the summer months. More than thirty thousand people attended the funeral of Imam Abdullah Haron in Crawford. He had been arrested by the apartheid security police just after he had led the al-Jaami'a Masjid Milad al-Nabi celebrations on 12 Rabi al-Auwal 1389AH (28 May 1969); and was held under Section 6(1) of the Terrorism Act of 1967 until his death on Saturday, 27 September 1969. In November 1998 Nelson Mandela was a guest speaker at Crawford's College of Cape Town, formerly Hewat Teachers' Training College, a landmark on the apartheid struggle map. He spoke to the residents of Athlone, custodians of the famous Klipfontein Road, that had survived many of the suburb's apartheid altercations.

Crawford railway station is a Metrorail station that serves the suburbs of Rondebosch East and Crawford in Cape Town, South Africa. It is served by trains on the Cape Flats Line. The station, which is located between First Avenue in Rondebosch East and Allister Road in Crawford, has two side platforms and a station building at ground level on the west side of the tracks. The platforms are connected by two pedestrian subways.
