Khalifa University (Arabic: جامعة خليفة) is a public research university located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It was ranked as the 181st best university in the world by QS world university rankings of 2023.Founded in 2007 by a decree issued by UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Khalifa University was established in an effort to support a knowledge-based economy that will contribute to the state's post-oil future.Currently, it is merging with The Petroleum Institute and Masdar Institute of Science and Technology.The university has a student population of approximately 1,300.In the 2019 Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings, Khalifa University placed as the 28th best university in Asia. In September 2018, Khalifa University was ranked 1st in the UAE and 2nd in the Arab region by the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2019. The AI Institute has a funding outlay of AED 160 million for a five-year period.

The British School Al Khubairat, formerly called "Al Khubairat Community School", now commonly known and referred to as "Al Khubairat", "BSAK", "The British School" is a non-profit fee-charging school for English speaking children in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The school roll is some 1,800 students.

Mary, Mother of Jesus Mosque, also called in Arabic, Maryam Umm Eisa Masjid (Arabic: مسجد مريم أم عيسى عليهما السلام, Masjid Maryam Umm ‘Īsā) is a mosque located in Al Mushrif, a central neighborhood in the city of Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. It was built in 1989 as Mohammed Bin Zayed Mosque, and named after Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler of Abu Dhabi. On 14 June 2017, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan decided to rename the mosque to "Mary, Mother of Jesus Mosque". The change was done as an initiative exemplifying the values of co-existence among religions in the UAE, as well as to honour Mary, Mother of Jesus who is a respected figure in Islam.The mosque complex is at one corner and besides by a Christian community of numerous church complexes, amongst them are the St. Joseph's Cathedral, Abu Dhabi, the Church of St. Anthony and the neighbouring St. Andrew's Church.

St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church, Abu Dhabi (commonly known as St. Therese Church) is a Catholic church located in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. It is a part of the Vicariate of Southern Arabia, and is a church within the Parish of St. Joseph's Church. The newly reconstructed St. Joseph's Parish Centre, which includes the St. Therese Church, was blessed during a ceremony on December 14, 2013. The church is named after St. Therese of Lisieux, also known as "The Little Flower," a French Catholic saint and Doctor of the Church who is revered for her humility and devotion to God.

St. Joseph's Cathedral is the seat of the Apostolic Vicar of Southern Arabia and is one of the five Catholic churches in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi besides St. Paul's Church in Musaffah, St. Mary's Church in Al Ain, St.Francis Church in the Abrahamic Family House in Saadiyat Island and St. John the Baptist Church in Ruwais. The first church was built in 1962 in the present Corniche on a plot of land donated by Sheikh Shakhbut, the ruler of Abu Dhabi. Masses are conducted in various languages, reflecting the population of expatriates in the country, primarily English but also Arabic, German, Tagalog, Spanish, Malayalam, Italian, Sinhalese, Urdu, Konkani, Tamil, and French.

Al Mushrif is a central neighborhood in the city of Abu Dhabi zone one, United Arab Emirates. Al-Mushrif is located in an area between Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Street "Airport Road" and Arabian Gulf Street, which extends to Mussafah Bridge. It is the location of the Al Mushrif Palace and Umm Al Emarat Park, as well as Mushrif Mall. It also contains the Women's Handicrafts Centre, demonstrating practices such as saddu (carpet weaving) and talli (embroidering).

Umm Al Emarat Park, previously known as Mushrif Park, is an urban park in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates, centrally located on 15th Street between Airport Road and Karamah Street. First opened in 1982, entrance to the park was originally exclusive to women and children, but it has since become accessible to all visitors. Over 80,000 students have visited the park through its partnerships with 400 UAE schools, with the aim of teaching the youth about the country's ecosystem, and heritage, and wildlife.

Al Nahyan is a neighbourhood in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.Al Nahyan is named after the Al Nahyan family. It is the location of the Al Nahyan Stadium, which is also named after them.

ALHOSN University was an educational institution founded in 2005 and located in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. It is a segregated University with separate campuses for Male and Female Students. The Abu Dhabi-based university was accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.ALHOSN University offered 18 undergraduate and 11 postgraduate degrees under three faculties, Business, Engineering and Arts and Social Science. The university offered programs in the fields of Engineering (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, (ABET) accredited) Business (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) accredited) and Education. Undergraduate academic degrees are offered as four-year programs and taught in English, all except for the Arabic education component. ALHOSN University is a member of the Arab Association of Universities.The university's City Campus was located in Abu Dhabi and has students from 41 different nationalities and Faculty and Staff hailing from 33 different countries.In 2017, Ministry of Education in UAE have placed the university on probation and closed the university in 2021.

The Red Crescent Society of the United Arab Emirates is the United Arab Emirates (UAE) affiliate of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. The authority was founded in Abu Dhabi in 1983 with support of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Its main objectives are to carry out Red Cross operations on a systematic basis throughout the UAE.

Mushrif Mall is a three-level shopping mall that is located in the city of Abu Dhabi, on Rashid bin Saeed and Al Dhafra Streets. The mall houses Lulu Hypermarket, fish, meat, fruit and vegetables market, retail outlets, restaurants, cafeterias, coffee shops, entertainment and fun areas. The mall is owned by LuLu Group International and was opened in 2011.
