St. Peter's Church in the Great Valley is a historic Episcopal church in East Whiteland Township, Pennsylvania, a Philadelphia suburb. The church was founded in 1704 as a missionary parish of the Church of England in what was then the colonial Province of Pennsylvania. The parish is part of the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania.

The Great Valley is a west-to-east valley through the center of Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is also sometimes referred to as Chester Valley, and both names are in use throughout the region. The valley stretches from the Schuylkill River in Montgomery County in the east, southwesterly through Chester and Lancaster counties. The valley is most distinct in central Chester County, although traces of it can be followed almost the entire distance between the Delaware and Susquehanna rivers. Valley Creek flows along the base of eastern Great Valley, towards the Schuylkill River. A second creek, also named Valley Creek, flows westward from Frazer into the East Branch Brandywine Creek. Beaver Creek flows eastward along the northern side of the valley from around Thorndale into the East Branch Brandywine Creek. Multiple branches of both the Brandywine and Octoraro creeks cross the valley.

The John Williams Farm, also known as the Davis B. Williams Farm and Stinson Markley Residence, is an historic farm complex and national historic district that are located in Charlestown Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

The Great Valley Nature Center was an American organization dedicated to raising public awareness on environmental issues through educational exhibits, demonstrations, and workshops. The Great Valley Nature Center was located in Malvern, Pennsylvania. It consistes of fields, streams, ponds, woods, and diverse habitats. Also featured was Birds of Prey Center. All birds of prey are no longer present a replica Native American Lenape village, a Pennsylvania wildflower garden, a maple sugar house, and a hands-on exhibit area were also present.

Charlestown Township is a township in Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 6,003 at the 2020 census.Part of the Valley Forge Christian College's campus, formerly the location of the Valley Forge General Hospital, is located in Charlestown Township. The other part is located in Schuylkill Township. The campus straddles the township line.

The Frazer Diner, in Chester County, Pennsylvania, was built by the Jerry O'Mahony Diner Company and is now the only remaining example of an unaltered mid-1930s streamline modern O'Mahoney diner. Its original features include the monitor roof, half-moon windows, and porcelian-enameled base. The diner was split lengthwise and originally shipped to Paoli, Pennsylvania and operated as the Paoli Diner.Originally manufactured in 1935 (though some sites reference 1929), it was purchased by Frances and Sylvester Cavalati in 1957 and moved to its present location at 189 Lancaster Avenue, Frazer, Pennsylvania in East Whiteland Township. In 1972, while retaining ownership, they leased it to others to operate and the name was changed to the Frazer Diner.Around 1983, the diner was leased to Tam Nguyen and his wife Hao (law school graduate and nurse, respectively) who had fled communism in Vietnam and moved to the Main Line in 1980. They operated it as the Linh Diner, specializing in Vietnamese-Chinese food, and it became a regular lunch stop for nearby high-tech companies in the Great Valley. After five years building a successful business, they were running out of space and looking to move to a new location that was to be built as part of a new shopping center nearby. Before that happened, the Cavalati's served the Nguyens an eviction notice, and noted there was a buyer who wanted to move the diner to Hollywood.The Nguyens did eventually open the Linh Restaurant nearby, but the diner was not moved to California, and eventually re-opened, once again as the Frazer Diner.

Charlestown Village Historic District is a national historic district located in Charlestown Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It is adjacent to the Middle Pickering Rural Historic District. It encompasses 21 contributing buildings and 1 contributing structure on 7 properties in the crossroads village of Charlestown. They date between about 1740 and 1870, and are reflective of a number of popular architectural styles including Late Victorian and Italianate. The oldest is the Job Harvey House, built about 1740. Also included is the Charlestown Woolen Mill (1862-1865), William Nixon House (c. 1817), Charlestown Methodist Episcopal Church (1840, 1881), Moses King House, William Howard house and wheelwright shop, and the "Town Hall."It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Great Valley High School is a comprehensive, college preparatory, public high school located in eastern Chester County. It is located in East Whiteland Township, near Malvern, Pennsylvania. Located on the same campus as Great Valley Middle School at 225 North Phoenixville Pike, it is the only high school within the Great Valley School District. This high school serves students residing in the Great Valley School District in Grades nine through twelve and enrolls roughly 1,150 to 1,175 students per year. The student to teacher ratio is approximately 14:1. During the 2008 Democratic Party presidential primaries, then-Senator Barack Obama gave a speech in Great Valley's gymnasium.
