Caloundra Airport (IATA: CUD, ICAO: YCDR) is a public general aviation airport located in Caloundra West serving the Sunshine Coast in the Australian state of Queensland. The airport is located on a 130 ha (320 acres) site, of which 74 ha (180 acres) is occupied by the current facilities. Further growth and expansion of the airport is limited by urban encroachment as much of the surrounding land has been developed into residential estates. The airport has been managed by Sunshine Coast Airports, a business unit of the Sunshine Coast Regional Council which is also responsible for the operations of the Sunshine Coast Airport at Maroochydore since 2008.

The shire covered an area of 1,093.1 square kilometres (422.0 sq mi); it existed as a local government entity from 1912 until 2008, when it amalgamated with councils further north to form the Sunshine Coast Region. The City covered the urban localities of Caloundra and Kawana Waters and surrounding suburbs, the northern half of Bribie Island and the western hinterland towns of Landsborough, Maleny and Witta.

Roy Henzell Oval is a cricket ground in Caloundra, Queensland, Australia. The first recorded match on the ground came in 1981 when Queensland Country played the touring West Indians. It held its only first-class match in 1993 when Queensland played the touring England A side, with the match ending in a draw. Three Youth One Day Internationals were played there in 2007 between Australia Under-19s and Pakistan Under-19.

Unity College is a coeducational ecumenical college located in the Bellvista Estate in Caloundra West, a suburb of the Sunshine Coast Region in Queensland, Australia. The college is administered by Brisbane Catholic Education, working in partnership with the Caloundra Catholic and Uniting Churches.Unity College has a total enrolment of more than 1400 students from Prep to Year 12, with an official count of 1422 students in 2017. Most students who attend Unity College are from the local Caloundra area, whereas others are from the Beerwah, Mooloolah Valley and Glenview areas. Approximately 50% of the school's students identify as Catholic and 16% are of the Uniting tradition, whereas the remaining 34% are of other faith backgrounds.

It is in Zone 5 of the Translink integrated public transport system. Located in Cooma Terrace, Caloundra the interchange boasts an air-conditioned waiting room and travel agent. A two-storey car park is located above the bus station.
