St. Paul's Episcopal Church is located in Greenville, Texas, approximately 50 miles north east of Dallas. The church was designated a mission church in 1877, and the sanctuary located at 3215 Stonewall Street was opened on July 16, 1896. In 1966 the site received the Texas Historic Landmark which noted that it was the oldest church building still in use in Greenville. On February 16, 1969 a fire destroyed the historic structure and the building was razed. Land was purchased at 8320 Jack Finney Blvd. (FM 1570), and on July 22, 1973 ground was broken for a new church building, and the new church was consecrated on September 17, 1974. The parish hall and other facilities were added over the years. The historical marker for the original building is located in the parish hall. In 1984, the St. Paul's Episcopal School constructed its current facility on church land.

Hunt County is a county in the U.S. state of Texas. As of the 2020 census, its population was 99,956. Its county seat is Greenville. The county is named for Memucan Hunt, Jr., the first Republic of Texas Minister to the United States from 1837 to 1838 and the third Texas Secretary of the Navy from 1838 to 1839. Hunt County is located on the eastern edge of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and the western edge of East Texas. Hunt County is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington metropolitan statistical area.

The Audie Murphy American Cotton Museum is located at 600 Interstate 30 East, in the city of Greenville, county of Hunt, in the U.S. state of Texas. It was established in 1987. Cotton was Hunt County's largest cash crop in the early 20th century, and the museum features a "History of Cotton" exhibit.Much of the focus of the museum is dedicated to military veterans. Medal of Honor recipient Audie Murphy was born in Hunt County and worked in Greenville before entering the military. The Hunt County War Memorial was dedicated on the museum's grounds in 2004. The memorial features a 10-foot (3 m) bronze statue of Murphy created by Greenville artist Gordon Thomas. The granite stones that circle the monument are carved with the names of the county's war dead. Other stones contain quotes from Murphy, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Ronald Reagan.In 2012, the Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital in San Antonio transferred its collection of Murphy-related memorabilia to the museum for its permanent collection. The museum sponsors the area's annual Audie Murphy Days, usually scheduled in June.

Greenville High School is a public high school located in Hunt County, Texas, United States. It is classified as a 5A school by the University Interscholastic League (UIL). It serves the Greenville area as part of the Greenville Independent School District. In 2013, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.

Hunt Regional Medical Center (or Hunt Regional) is a full-service hospital located at 4215 Joe Ramsey Boulevard in Greenville, Texas. The hospital opened on August 1, 1971, and has since undergone numerous expansions. Hunt Regional serves patients in Hunt County and surrounding areas.

Central Christian Church is a historic church at 2611 Wesley Street in Greenville, Texas. It was built in 1899 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

The Post Office Building in Greenville, Texas, was built in 1910. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. It was at this post office on June 20, 1942, that Audie Murphy enlisted in the United States Army.

The Greenville station, also known as Katy Depot, is a train depot constructed in 1896 in Greenville, Texas. It was operated by the Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railway Company. It was registered in the United States National Register of Historic Places on January 25, 1997. The building foundation is made of limestone, and its walls are built of red brick with cut sandstone wainscoting. The train depot is also home to the Greenville Railroad Museum.President Harry Truman stopped at the station in 1948 during his “whistle stop” campaign tour.
