Sinjeong-dong is a dong, or neighborhood, of Nam-gu in Ulsan, South Korea. Sinjung-dong is further divided into five subdivisions: Sinjeong-1-dong, Sinjeong-2-dong, Sinjeong-3-dong, Sinjeong-4-dong, and Sinjeong-5-dong.

Sinjeong Market is a traditional street market in Nam-gu, Ulsan, South Korea. Established in 1970, today the market has more than 700 shops that sell fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, breads, clothing, and Korean traditional medicinal items. The market is also home to many small restaurants and street food stalls.

Ulsan (Korean pronunciation: [uɭ.s͈an]), officially the Ulsan Metropolitan City, is South Korea's seventh-largest metropolitan city and the eighth-largest city overall, with a population of over 1.1 million inhabitants. It is located in the south-east of the country, neighboring Busan to the south and facing Gyeongju to the north. The allied army, number 29,500 men, laid siege to Tosan near Ulsan in late October. The fortress was too heavily fortified to attempt an assault, however a series of engagements did occur around the area, resulting in more than 2,000 Japanese casualties. Allied forces lifted the siege on 2 November. Katō Kiyomasa's men departed for Japan on 14 December 1598.

Ulsan Industrial Center Monument (울산공업센터 건립 기념탑), widely known as Gongeoptap (공업탑, Industrial Tower), is a monumental tower located in Gongeoptap Rotary, Namgu, Ulsan.

Ulsan Grand Park is the largest urban park in South Korea, with 3.69 square kilometres (1.42 square miles) of park land. It is located in Ulsan Metropolitan City, and includes walking trails, a nature learning center, a botanical garden, a petting zoo, a butterfly zoo, and several playgrounds.

The Taehwa River flows into Ulsan Bay. The river's entire 46-kilometer course lies within the metropolitan city of Ulsan. The Taehwa drains an area of nearly 645 km²; much of this lies within Ulsan, but portions of it lie in neighboring cities such as Gyeongju.

Ulsan Museum is a history museum located adjacent to Ulsan Grand Park in Nam-gu, Ulsan, South Korea. The museum has a permanent exhibit that details life in Ulsan and the rest of Korea from prehistoric times to the present. Construction of the museum commenced on 2 January 2009 and was completed on 31 January 2011. It opened on 22 June 2011.

Ulsan Science Museum is a science museum located in Ok-dong, Nam-gu, Ulsan, South Korea. Established in 2011, the museum has an area of 41,000 square metres (440,000 square feet) spread out over 6 floors. There is space for several exhibitions, a planetarium, and science labs and classrooms for educational courses. The exhibitions are almost entirely in Korean, but there are also English programs available for visiting schools.

Ulsan Jungang Market or Ulsan Central Market is a traditional street market in Jung-gu, Ulsan, South Korea. It is the largest traditional market in Ulsan. The market contains many shops that sell fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, breads, clothing, and Korean traditional medicinal items. The market also has many small restaurants and street-food stalls. The market is also home to "Barbeque Eel ally" (Korean: 곰장어 골목; RR: Gom Jang-eo Golmok), which is a street famous for the many restaurants serving freshly-killed barbequed pike eel that can be found there.
