Nalukulangara Maha Devi Temple is situated in Kuthiathode Panchayath in Kerala, India. It is a prominent Devi temple in Alappuzha. It is situated 1 km from Pattukulangara Junction. It hosts the idol of the goddess Bhadrakali (popularly known as "Nalukulangara Amma") together with Sivan, Subrahmanyan, Bhalabhadra, etc. It is popularly called "Nalukulangara Mahadevi". The annual temple festival (Kodiyettu Ulsavom – Malayalam calendar Makaram — Makom Thozal and Pooram) is held there. Vrichikom 1st Pongala is a ladies' fest.

Thuravoor (IPA: [t̪urɐʋuːr̩]) is a gram panchayat in the Pattanakkad Block of Cherthala Taluk of the Alappuzha District, State of Kerala, India. It comes under Aroor Assembly constituency. Thuravoor lies under Kochi UA in future. A four lane(six lane is progressing) National Highway 66 passes through the village, which along with a railway station gives it excellent connectivity with the remainder of the state. Thuravoor is famous for the Narasimha Swamy temple which is dedicated to the fourth incarnation (avatara) of Vishnu, the Narasimha. The temple has two main deities, the Vadakkanappan (Lord Narasimha) and the Tekkanappan (Lord Sudarshana), which is rare among the temples of Kerala. The new 6 lane elevated highway is from thuravoor to aroor. It is the largest 6 lane elevated highway in the country. Thuravoor is a rapid developing town. It is lies in Aroor Assembly constituency. Thuravoor Kumbalangi road is a main road parallel to NH 66. Thuravoor is the major entry to Kochi city.

Andhakaranazhy ('Andhakaranazhi' Beach) is a coastal village located 4 km west of Pattanakkad under Pattanakkad Panchayath under Cherthala Taluk. It is famous for its beach which draws a number of domestic and international tourists. There are many Beachside homestays and boating services over the village.

Manakkodam Lighthouse is situated next to the Andhakaranazhy beach in the Alappuzha district of Kerala near Cherthala. The tower is a 33.8 metres (110.9 ft) high concrete structure with square cross section. It was inaugurated on 1 August 1979. There were no lights in this area before 1979. The light source was changed from incandescent lamp to metal halide on 21 September 1998.The light source flashes twice in ten seconds.

Chammanad Devi Temple or Chammanad Bhadrakali Temple is a temple located 200 metres from the National Highway, between Vyttila and the town of Cherthala (16 km from each place). It is situated in Kodamthuruth neighbourhood of Alappuzha, Kerala in India. The 10-day festival Utsavam is celebrated in Kumbha month.There are two sub temples: Shasta Temple - Near the E.C.E.K. Union High School. Sri Krishna Temple - Located around 700 metres towards Eramalloor, at a place called Kannukulangara.The temple belongs to a resident family known as the "Ettu veettil kartha family", which is functionally now eight families and their sub-families only, along with their recommended members run the temple.

Ezhupunna is a village in the taluk of Cherthala in Alappuzha district in the Indian state of Kerala. It lies between Alappuzha and Kochi, near National Highway 66. There is also a railway station, where only passenger trains halt. This is a panchayat which come under the Aroor Assembly constituency and the Alappuzha Parliamentary constituency. The village have borders with Kumbalangy and Chellanam, suburbs of the city of Kochi.
