Agger (river)

Siegburger Mühlengraben is a small canal of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It branches off the Sieg, flows through Siegburg, and joins the Sieg again.

The Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences is a German university of applied sciences with more than 9,500 students and 150 professors. Its campus comprises three distinct locations, situated in Sankt Augustin, Rheinbach and Hennef / Sieg (all in the vicinity of Cologne and Bonn).

Troisdorf (German pronunciation: [ˈtʁoːsdɔʁf] (listen)) is a city in the Rhein-Sieg-Kreis (district), in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

Troisdorf station is a railway junction in the town of Troisdorf in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, where the line from Cologne separates into the East Rhine Railway to Neuwied and the Sieg Railway to Siegen. In addition to various regional rail services Troisdorf is served by the S 12 and S 13. Both lines operate towards Cologne at 20-minute intervals, so together they provide a 10-minute-interval S-Bahn service to Cologne. It is also served on working days by the S 19 service between Düren and Au (Sieg), running hourly and substituting for one of the S13 services. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 3 station.The Cologne–Frankfurt high-speed line also passes through Troisdorf, but without stopping. In the course of the construction of high-speed line, the three platforms were rebuilt and raised. Renovation or replacement of the station building is being planned.

Siegburg/Bonn station, in the town of Siegburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, is on the Cologne–Frankfurt high-speed rail line and the Sieg Railway. It was rebuilt for the high-speed line and is connected to Bonn by the Siegburg line of the Bonn Stadtbahn. It is in the network area of the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg (Rhine-Sieg Transport Association).

Siegburg (i.e. fort on the Sieg river; Ripuarian: Sieburch) is a city in the district of Rhein-Sieg-Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located on the banks of the rivers Sieg and Agger, 10 kilometres from the former seat of West German government Bonn and 26 kilometres from Cologne. The population of the city was 39,192 in the 2013 census.

Sankt Augustin (Ripuarian: Sank Aujustin) is a town in the Rhein-Sieg district, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is named after the patron saint of the Divine Word Missionaries, Saint Augustine of Hippo (354-430). The Missionaries established a monastery near the current town centre in 1913. The municipality of Sankt Augustin was established in 1969, and on September 6, 1977 Sankt Augustin acquired town privileges (German: Stadtrechte). Sankt Augustin is situated about eight km north-east of Bonn and three km south-west of Siegburg.

Michaelsberg Abbey (German: Abtei Michaelsberg) is a former monastery of the Benedictine Order, belonging to the Subiaco Congregation (1064-2011). The monastery is situated on the Michaelsberg ("St. Michael's Mount"), about 40 metres above the town of Siegburg. For this reason it is also often known as Siegburg Abbey.

Pleisbach (in its upper course also: Logebach) is a river of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is a left tributary of river Sieg near Siegburg.
