Torre Water Catchment

The Cruz Water Catchment, also known historically as Finona's Water Catchment, is a historic private water supply structure in the United States territory of Guam. It is located south of Guam Highway 9 in the village of Potts Junction in the central northern part of the island. It is a circular concrete structure 3.74 metres (12.3 ft) in diameter, and is 2.55 metres (8.4 ft) in height, of which 0.87 metres (2.9 ft) is exposed above ground level. Its estimated capacity is just over 17,000 litres (4,500 US gal). It was built, according to local oral history, about 1920, and was used to capture rainfall from a nearby house that was destroyed by Typhoon Karen in 1962. The catchment was used to provide water to as many as seven local households, making possible year-round living in an area otherwise lacking fresh water. The structure was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

Toves House, on Marine Dr. in the Anigua district of Hagåtña, Guam, was built in 1950, built mostly with ifil hardwood. It was a work of Pedro T. Toves in Pacific Spanish-Colonial vernacular architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. It was deemed significant for its architecture, as providing continuity to past usage of Pacific Spanish colonial design. Design-wise, it picked up where World War II's devastation of Guam had stopped evolution of the style. Unfortunately, is one of few surviving post-war examples, due to loss of the native ifil forests in World War II and other factors. Other post-war structures built of softwood have been destroyed by typhoons and termites.

Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Guam (NCTS Guam) is a United States Navy communications facility on the U.S. territory of Guam. It is located on the Naval Base Guam North Finegayan Telecommunications Site along Guam Highway 3 in Dededo, on the northwest coast of the island. NCTS Guam is under the United States Tenth Fleet's Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Pacific (NCTAMS PAC) and under the installation management authority of Joint Region Marianas. It has been variously referred to as Naval Communications Station Guam (NCS Guam), NCS or NCTS Finegayan, and North Finegayan. NCTS Guam provides communications support in the areas of responsibility for the U.S. Third, Fifth, and Seventh Fleets.

Chaqui'an Massacre Site, at Chalan Emsley in Yigo on Guam, was the site of a massacre in 1944 by Japanese soldiers of 45 native Chamorro men. The men were from 15 to 76 years old, and were dressed in civilian clothes. They were tied and were beheaded. The site, a 1.94 acres (0.79 ha) area, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016. The NRHP nomination states:Chagui'an represents the intense suffering and hardship endured by the indigenous population (Chamorros) of the U.S. Unincorporated territory of Guam during the 31 month Japanese wartime occupation of the island. Of the many incidents of Japanese military brutality on Guam, the largest known single act of violence is the beheading of 45 Chamorros by the Imperial Japanese Army at Chagui'an. The massacre site exemplifies the atrocities committed on Micronesian populations in the Pacific Theater of Operations and epitomizes the tragic extremes that can be inflicted on small, marginalized, native populations without political authority or the prerogative of military sanction in global conflicts. Chagui'an is one of only a handful of war-related massacres of civilians that occurred on U.S. soil during World War II.

Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Blaz is a U.S. Marine Corps facility located in the village of Dededo in northwest Guam.

The Mataguac Hill Command Post, near Yigo, Guam, has significance from 1944 during the Battle of Guam. It was the location of "the last organized resistance by the Japanese to the American liberation of Guam during World War II and therefore is considered a highlight of the invasion of Guam.": 3  It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. The listing's two contributing structures are two concrete bunkers built by the Japanese military early in 1944, in a small gully at a location where fresh water was present and where thick bamboo groves may have concealed the area from American military air reconnaissance and attack. The smaller bunker is 12.4 by 5.8 metres (41 ft × 19 ft) and about 2.5 metres (8.2 ft) tall. The main portion of the larger bunker, about 10 metres (33 ft) away, is 15 by 4 metres (49 ft × 13 ft) and about 4 metres (13 ft) tall; it is L-shaped. It was used as a command post by Japanese Lt. Gen. Hideyoshi Obata. The position was attacked on August 11, 1944 by the 306th Regiment of the 77th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army. "Throwing white phosphorus grenades and using pole charges and more than 400 blocks of TNT, they blew up the front of the caverns, closing them." The bunkers were opened by American engineers three days later and 60 bodies were found, including that of General Obata. There are other abandoned concrete structures to hold water from Mataguac Spring, not far away, that were built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, after World War II.

Northwest Field (historically Northwest Guam Air Force Base) is a military airfield on the West Pacific island of Guam. Originally built during World War II, Northwest Field was closed as an airfield in 1949 but has been used for other military activity since, including housing a satellite tracking station, air defenses, and being used for training.

The Yigo Guam Temple is a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) in Yigo, Guam. The intent to build the temple was announced on October 7, 2018, by church president Russell M. Nelson, during general conference.

The South Finegayan Latte Stone Park is a small public park and archaeological site at 74 Golden Shower Lane in Dededo, Guam. Located in the United States Navy housing area known as Finegayan, it encompasses the remains of a latte stone house site, which are the only remnants of a once-extensive Chamorro village in the area. Radiocarbon dating and other evidence place the occupation period at this site at c. 1700, and for only a relatively short period of time (about 100 years). The site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

Yigo, Guam (Chamorro: Yigu; pronounced ) is the northernmost village of the United States territory of Guam, and is the location of Andersen Air Force Base. The municipality of Yigo is the largest village on the island in terms of area. It contains a number of populated places, including Asatdas and Agafo Gumas.

Okkodo High School (Chamorro: Okkodo Mina'takhelo na Eskuela) is a public high school located in Dededo in the United States territory of Guam. The school occupies 62 acres (25 ha) of the island's most populated village, Dededo. Okkodo High School opened its doors on August 21, 2008, making it the fifth public high school under the Guam Department of Education. The school's district encompasses the areas of Astumbo Gardens, Liguan Terrace, NCS/Munoz/Finegayan, Fern Terrace, Machanao, Santa Ana, Harmon Loop, and the surrounding Okkodo area. Okkodo High School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
