Children's Specialized Hospital (CSH) is a children's rehabilitation hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. It has 140 beds. Founded in 1891, the hospital supports a wide range of research with five core areas of research focus - autism, mobility, cognition, brain injury, and chronic illness. It treats infants, children, teens, and young adults up until the age of 21. Its largest campus is in New Brunswick campus which is a member of the greater Children's Academic Health Campus.

The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (BMSCH) is a freestanding, 105-bed pediatric acute care children's hospital adjacent to RWJUH. It is affiliated with both Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and the neighboring PSE&G Children's Specialized Hospital, and is one of three children's hospitals in the RWJBarnabas Health network. The hospital provides comprehensive pediatric specialties and subspecialties to infants, children, teens, and young adults aged 0–21 throughout New Jersey and features an ACS verified level II pediatric trauma center. Its regional pediatric intensive-care unit and neonatal intensive care units serve the Central New Jersey region.

St. Peter the Apostle High School was a Roman Catholic high school that operated in New Brunswick, in Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, under the auspices of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen.

Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is a medical school of Rutgers University. It is one of the two graduate medical schools of Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences, together with New Jersey Medical School, and is closely aligned with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, the medical school's principal affiliate. Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School operates campuses in Piscataway and New Brunswick in New Jersey. The medical school includes 20 basic science and clinical departments and a broad range of clinical programs conducted at its 34 hospital affiliates and numerous ambulatory care sites in the region. The school is named after Robert Wood Johnson II, the former president and chairman of the board of Johnson & Johnson. Prior to July 2013, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School was part of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). In 2015-16 admissions cycle, the medical school has introduced the CASPer test, developed by McMaster University Medical School in Canada, as an admissions tool.

Health Sciences Technology High School (NBHSTHS) is a magnet public high school focused on health sciences. The school is the result of a partnership between the New Brunswick Board of Education and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH). The school is part of the New Brunswick Public Schools district and is run by Innovative Educational Programs (IEP).As of the 2014-15 school year, there were 225 students attending the school and 19 teachers, for a student–teacher ratio of 11.8:1.

The School of Nursing became the College of Nursing on March 6, 1956. Ella V. Stonsby was appointed the first dean of the College.

The Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ) is a cancer treatment and research institution that is a part of Rutgers University and located in New Brunswick, New Jersey. CINJ is one of only 51 Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the nation designated by the National Cancer Institute and the only one in New Jersey located in the heart of New Brunswick.The Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey is an Institute of Rutgers University and is located adjacent to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, which serves as its primary clinical affiliate. CINJ delivers comprehensive cancer care to both adults and children and conducts laboratory, clinical, prevention, and population research. Laboratory research at CINJ is supported by more than $99 million annually in cancer-related research grants. CINJ has over 850 employees and manages more than 120,000 patient visits annually.

The Gateway is a mixed-use tower in New Brunswick, New Jersey, United States, adjacent to the Northeast Corridor Line New Brunswick rail station. It was proposed in February 2005 by DEVCO as part of the Easton-Somerset redevelopment area. Several businesses were relocated from the site during 2008 and 2009. The project was completed in September 2012, at a cost of $150 million.New Brunswick is one of nine cities in New Jersey designated as eligible for Urban Transit Hub Tax Credits by the state's Economic Development Authority. Developers who invest a minimum of $50 million within 0.5 miles of a train station are eligible for pro-rated tax credit. The Gateway is one such project located just to the north of station and is connected by a new pedestrian bridge. This creates a direct link to the Rutgers' College Avenue Campus.The completed project is the tallest building in New Brunswick, at 23 stories. A city spokesman described it as "like the center of the universe for people coming to New Brunswick." The Gateway was expected to attract residents and the university community downtown.The Gateway includes: 656 spaces of parking (nine levels) A three-story Barnes & Noble store New headquarters for the Rutgers University Press 42 condos, 120 regular housing units, and 38 affordable housing units (Reduced from 49 units of affordable housing planned in April 2010)

Rutgers Day is a festival held on the last Saturday in April every year at Rutgers University.

New Jersey Hall is a historic education building located on the campus of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Built in 1889 under the leadership of President Merrill Edward Gates, it housed the Agricultural Experiment Station. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 24, 1975 for its significance in agriculture and education.
