Bryant is a city in Saline County, Arkansas, United States and a suburb of Little Rock. According to the 2010 Census, the population of the city was 16,688. It is part of the Central Arkansas region.

Saline County Regional Airport (ICAO: KSUZ, FAA LID: SUZ) is a county-owned, public-use airport located five nautical miles (6 mi, 9 km) east of the central business district of Benton, a city in Saline County, Arkansas, United States. The airport's address is 1100 Hill Farm Road in Bryant, Arkansas. It is included in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a general aviation facility.Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, this facility is assigned SUZ by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA (which assigned SUZ to Suria Airport in Papua New Guinea).

Alexander is a city in Pulaski and Saline counties in the U.S. state of Arkansas. Located in Central Arkansas, the town was founded as a construction camp for the nearby railroad. Following its completion, the citizens decided to incorporate in 1887. Alexander is home to the Arkansas Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center. The population was 2,901 at the 2010 census.

The Hester-Lenz House is a historic house at 905 AR 5 N in Benton, Arkansas. Built in 1836 on what was then the Southwest Trail or the Military Road, it may be the oldest surviving house in Saline County that remains in its original location, and it may have been the location of a vote for independence of the state of Arkansas. The original construction, a two-story log dogtrot believed to have been built about 1836–37, was modified in the late 19th century by German immigrants with their distinctive vernacular styling.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. It has also been known as the Oscar F. Lenz House, as the Lenggenhager House.

The Old Benton—Sardis Road Bridge is a historic bridge off Arkansas Highway 183 in Bauxite, Arkansas. It is a concrete deck truss bridge, with a span of about 15 feet (4.6 m), and is oriented east–west along an old road bed, resting on concrete abutments with diagonal wing walls. The bridge was built in 1919 as part of a project to build a new road connecting Benton to Sardis, which would facilitate the transport of bauxite mined in the area. Unlike other concrete bridges built at that time, this bridge included fieldstone in its guardrails, which provided a decorative aspect as well as perhaps being inexpensive locally. The method of contracting and construction of the road and bridge, involving the establishment of a road improvement district, was an important advance in the means by which roads were built in Arkansas.The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Bauxite High School (BHS) is a comprehensive public high school located in Bauxite, Arkansas, United States. It is one of five public high schools in Saline County and the only senior high school administered by the Bauxite School District. The school provides secondary education in grades 9 through 12 for students encompassing 86.09 square miles (223.0 km2) of land, including almost all of Bauxite, sections of Benton, Tull, and nearby Saline County and Grant County unincorporated communities. The current high school facilities were built in 2001, replacing a Depression-era Works Progress Administration-built school that was destroyed by fire on 5 January 2001.

The Rucker House, also known as the Caretaker's House is a historic house at Benton and School Streets in Bauxite, Arkansas. It is a vernacular two-story wood-frame structure, with a side gable central section that has a cross-gable section at the western end, and a second wing extending northward from the eastern end. A porch extends across the front as far as the cross-gable section, with a shed roof supported by simple posts. The house was built in 1905 by the Pittsburgh Reduction Company, a predecessor of Alcoa, whose bauxite mining business dominated the local economy.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. It was deemed important as the only surviving, intact house of the original Bauxite, a company town that was established in 1903. It was home of the company's plant supervisor, W. A. Rucker.

Located within Central Arkansas, the city is named for bauxite, the source ore for aluminum, which was found in abundant quantities in the area and became a source of aluminium refining. The city's population boomed during expanded aluminium production during World War II and shrank rapidly with output of the ore. Bauxite was incorporated as a town in 1973. The population was 487 at the 2010 census.

At the 2020 census, the city had a population of 35,014, making it the 12th most populous city in Arkansas. It is part of the Little Rock–North Little Rock–Conway Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city of Benton, first settled in 1833 and named after Missouri Senator Thomas Hart Benton, was formally chartered in 1836 when Arkansas became a state.
