Johnson Township is one of thirty-seven townships in Washington County, Arkansas, USA. As of the 2000 census, its total population was 3,076.

Johnson is a city in Washington County, Arkansas, United States. The community is located in the Ozark Mountains and is surrounded by valleys and natural springs. Early settlers took advantage of these natural features and formed an economy based on mining lime, the Johnson Mill and trout. Although a post office was opened in the community in 1887, Johnson did not incorporate until it required the development of a city government to provide utility services in 1961. Located between Fayetteville and Springdale in the heart of the rapidly growing Northwest Arkansas metropolitan statistical area, Johnson has been experiencing a population and building boom in recent years, as indicated by a 46% growth in population between the 2000 and 2010 censuses.

The Johnson Switch Building is a historic commercial building in 3201 Main Street in Johnson, Arkansas, USA. Built in 1904, it is a single-story structure with a pressed-metal facade designed to resemble brickwork, and a gable roof obscured by a stepped parapet. Named for a nearby railroad switch, it is the oldest surviving commercial building in the small community's downtown area.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church is a church in Springdale, Arkansas. Jonathan Boelkins was the project manager. It was converted from a metal shop garage. Marlon Blackwell was the church's architect. The church is located at 3171 South 48th Street across I-540 from Arvest Ballpark. It includes a skylit tower and an addition on the western side. It is modern and sparse in decoration. It received the 2013 American Institute of Architects Honor Awards for Architecture, the 2012 AIA Small Project Award, the 2011 World Architecture Festival – Best Civic and Community Building award, the 2011 Chicago Athenaeum American Architecture Award, the 2011 Gulf States Regional AIA Merit Award, was the 2011 Architectural Record Magazine Online – November Feature, received the 2010 Architect Magazine Design Review Honor Award and won a 2010 Arkansas AIA Honor Award.

Blessings Golf Club is a private, 18-hole golf course located along Clear Creek in Johnson, Arkansas, near Fayetteville. Its creation was funded by Tyson Foods Chairman John H. Tyson. Blessings was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and opened in June 2004. From the back tees, its rating is 79.1 and its slope is 153, making it one of the toughest golf courses in the U.S. Its routing is a true "out-in" design, in that the 9th hole does not end at the clubhouse. Blessings features three par-5 holes on the "out" nine and three par-3 holes on the "in" nine, for a par of 37-35=72. Its topography is characterized by hilly terrain creating numerous sidehill lies, dramatic elevation changes, forced carries over ravines and valleys, and large, undulating greens, with Clear Creek in play on several holes. Blessings' clubhouse was designed in a modern style by architect Marlon Blackwell. The clubhouse is outfitted with natural, organic design features including local stone and imported, exotic woods used throughout the interior. It features a pro shop, restaurant, lounge, men's and women's locker rooms, a large indoor practice facility, and a swimming pool. Blessings is also home to the University of Arkansas golf teams. The membership and the Razorbacks enjoy the Fred and Mary Smith practice facility, located on the grounds. It features six indoor/outdoor practice bays, an indoor video swing analysis station, office space and fully furnished men and women’s locker room facilities for the Razorbacks. As well as a 40 yard indoor chipping/pitching area. The 2019 NCAA Division I Women's and Men's Golf Championship was held at Blessings, with the Duke women and Stanford men winning the team titles. Maria Fassi of Arkansas was the women's individual champion and Matthew Wolff of Oklahoma State won the men's individual title.

The 2019 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship was the 81st annual tournament to determine the national champions of NCAA Division I men's golf. It was contested from May 24 to 29 at the Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Arkansas and hosted by the University of Arkansas. Stanford won its 9th team title with at 3–2 win over Texas in the finals. Matthew Wolff of Oklahoma State won the individual title by five strokes.

KFAY (1030 AM, "NewsTalk 1030") is a radio station serving the Fayetteville, Arkansas, area with a news/talk radio format. It is under ownership of Cumulus Media. 1030 AM is a United States clear-channel frequency, on which WBZ in Boston is the dominant Class A station. KFAY originally signed on as KGRH 1450 kHz, licensed to Fayetteville. It later changed callsign to KHOG and moved to 1440 kHz. KHOG programmed a top-40 format in the 1970s. KHOG moved from 1440 kHz to 1030 kHz frequency in the mid-1980s under the ownership of Demaree Media.

Multiple lawsuits have been filed against the company, alleging gross and willful negligence for the spread of COVID-19 at their plants.

The Strengthen the Arm of Liberty Monument in Fayetteville, Arkansas, is a replica of the Statue of Liberty (Liberty Enlightening the World). It was placed by the Boy Scouts of America as part of its 1950s-era campaign, "Strengthen the Arm of Liberty". It is located in front of Washington Regional Medical Center on North Hills Blvd. The statue was removed from the National Register of Historic Places in 2012 when it was improperly moved to its new location, but was later relisted.

Shady Grove is an unincorporated community in Springdale Township, Washington County, Arkansas, United States. It is located in south Springdale, just northwest of Lake Fayetteville.
