Sochi railway station (Russian: Сочи) is the largest of the four railway stations in Sochi, and one of the largest railway stations in Krasnodar Krai. It is part of North Caucasus Railway and located in the Tsentralny City District of Sochi. It was renovated for the 2014 Winter Olympics, alongside Sochi's three other railway stations: Dagomys, Matsesta and Khosta.

The Sochinsky okrug was a district (okrug) of the Black Sea Governorate of the Caucasus Viceroyalty of the Russian Empire. It bordered the Kuban Oblast to the north, the Tuapsinsky okrug to the west, the Sukhumi okrug to the east, and the Black Sea to the south. Sochi stretches across 145 kilometers (90 mi), and is the longest city in Europe, the fifth-largest city in the Southern Federal District, the second-largest city in Krasnodar Krai, and the sixth-largest city on the Black Sea. Sochi hosted the XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games in 2014. It hosted the alpine and Nordic Olympic events at the nearby ski resort of Rosa Khutor in Krasnaya Polyana. It also hosted the Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix from 2014 until 2021. It was also one of the host cities for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The Sochi (Russian: Сочи) is a river in the city of Sochi in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. It is 45 kilometres (28 mi) long, and the area of its basin 296 square kilometres (114 sq mi).Originating at Bolshaya Shura Mountain in the Greater Caucasus Mountains, it flows southwest and enters the Black Sea at Sochi, itself named for the river and site of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. It is the third longest river in Sochi after the Mzymta and the Shakhe. Administratively, the valley of the river belongs to Khostinsky City District of the city of Sochi, except for the lowest part, which belongs to Tsentralny City District. The upper course of the Sochi lies in the Caucasus Nature Reserve, a World Heritage Site, whereas the middle course, down to Plastunka, belongs to Sochi National Park. The Sochi River begins on the southern slopes of the 2,250-metre (7,380 ft) Bolshaya Shura Mountain and flows toward the west-southwest through mountainous terrain and is joined by tributaries such as the Ushkho and the Ats along the way. About 15 kilometres (9 mi) before its end at Sochi proper, the Sochi River is joined by its main tributary, the Agva. Just beyond is site of scenic Orekhovka Falls on the Bezumenka River as it flows into the Sochi River at Nizhnaya-Orekhovka. The Sochi then turns southward and flows through the suburbs of Plastunka, Baranovka, and Navaginka before reaching the city centre of Sochi where it is contained by concrete embankments before it enters the Black Sea.

The Commercial Sea Port of Sochi (Russian: Сочинский морской торговый порт) is a seaport on the Black Sea, the main focus of which is marine passenger transportation. Its headquarters is in the Central District of Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, Russia.

The Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel is the oldest Orthodox church in Sochi and the entire Black Sea Oblast of the former Russian Empire. Its construction was decreed by Grand Duke Michael Nikolaevich of Russia with a view to commemorating the victorious conclusion of the prolonged Caucasian War in 1864. The existing building was designed by Alexander Kaminsky. It was built between 1874 and 1890 with funds provided by Savva Mamontov and Count Felix Felixovich Sumarokov-Elston, among others. The church, long neglected by the Soviets, was restored in 1993. The domed baptistery and the sunday school were built next to the church in the 1990s.

Bocharov Ruchey (Russian: Бочаров Ручей) is the summer residence of the President of Russia. It is located in the Tsentralny City District of Sochi, Russia.The Bocharov Ruchey residence was commissioned by the People's Commissar for Military and Naval Affairs, Kliment Voroshilov, and completed in 1955. Miron Merzhanov was the project architect, while Sergei Venchagov was the landscape designer.

The concert hall Festivalny is an entertainment facilities in the central region of Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, Russia.The opening of the hall took place on July 14, 1979.
