Zavoglje

Sostro (pronounced [ˈsoːstɾɔ]; German: Sostru: 84, 108 ) is a formerly independent settlement in the eastern part of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region. In addition to the main settlement, Sostro includes the hamlet of Betežica, located to the northeast along Betežčica Creek, and the hamlet of Glastavci in the wooded hills above Betežica. Sostro is also the source of the name of the Sostro District (Slovene: Četrtna skupnost Sostro), the largest district of the capital.

Zgornji Kašelj (pronounced [ˈzɡoːɾnji ˈkaːʃəl]; in older sources also Gorenji Kašelj, German: Oberkaschel) is a formerly independent settlement in the eastern part of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It lies on a terrace above the left bank of the Ljubljanica River and extends west to Vevče and the source of Bajer Creek. It is part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region. The western part of the settlement was known as Dravlje, but this name passed out of use in the 20th century.

Zadvor (pronounced [zaˈdʋɔɾ]; German: Saduor) is a formerly independent settlement in the southeast part of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It belongs to the City Municipality of Ljubljana. It is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region. In addition to the main settlement, Zadvor consists of the hamlets of Križavka (also known as Križanke) to the southeast, near Saint Leonard's Church in Sostro, Žabja Vas (Slovene: Žabja vas) to the south below Zadvor Hill (Slovene: Zadvorski hrib), and Cegelnica next to that. In Žabja Vas there are two ponds in pits that were dug for the former brickworks at Cegelnica.

Češnjica (pronounced [ˈtʃeːʃnjitsa]; in older sources also Češnjice, German: Tscheschenze) is a settlement in central Slovenia. It lies in the hills east of the capital Ljubljana and belongs to the Ljubljana Urban Municipality. It is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.

Spodnji Kašelj (pronounced [ˈspoːdnji ˈkaːʃəl]; in older sources also Dolenji Kašelj, German: Unterkaschel) is a formerly independent settlement in the eastern part of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It is a compact settlement above the left bank of the Ljubljanica River between Zgornji Kašelj and Zalog. It is part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.

Sadinja Vas (pronounced [saˈdiːnja ˈʋaːs]; Slovene: Sadinja vas, also archaic Zadina Vas, German: Sadinawaß) is a settlement in the City Municipality of Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.

Zalog (pronounced [ˈzaːlɔk]; German: Salloch) is a formerly independent settlement in the eastern part of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It stands above the left bank of the Ljubljanica River near its confluence with the Sava. It is part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region. The former village includes the hamlets of Stari Zalog, which is the old village core on a terrace between the railroad line and a bridge across the Sava, Novi Zalog to the south, Brinje north of the railroad toward the Sava River, Prod to the east on the spit between the Ljubljanica and the Sava, Gradišče on the left bank of the Ljubljanica, and Vabrje on a small rise between the two rivers.

Zagradišče (pronounced [zaɡɾaˈdiːʃtʃɛ]) is a settlement in the hills east of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It is included in the City Municipality of Ljubljana. It is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now part of the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.

It is part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.

Dobrunje (pronounced [dɔˈbɾuːnjɛ]; German: Dobruine or Dobrouine) is a formerly independent settlement in the southeast part of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It belongs to the City Municipality of Ljubljana. It is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region. In addition to the main settlement, Dobrunje consists of the hamlets of Devce (in the west along the road to Bizovik), Marinki (in the north along the main road to Litija), Na Trdnjavi (to the south, at the base of St. Ulrich’s Hill), Ob Cesti (to the east), and Pod Ježo (to the north, toward the Ljubljanica River). Rastučnik Creek, which begins below Orle, runs through the western part of the settlement before joining the Ljubljanica.
