The Sanzhi UFO Houses (Chinese: 三芝飛碟屋; pinyin: Sānzhī Fēidiéwū), also known as the UFO houses of Sanjhih, Sanjhih pod houses or Sanjhih Pod City, were a set of abandoned and never-completed pod-shaped buildings in Sanzhi District, New Taipei, Taiwan. The buildings resembled Futuro houses, some examples of which can be found elsewhere in Taiwan. The site where the buildings were located was owned by Hung Kuo Group.

Sanzhi District (Chinese: 三芝區; pinyin: Sānzhī Qū) is a rural district in northern New Taipei, Taiwan. It is notable as the hometown of the former president Lee Teng-hui.

St. John's University (SJU; Chinese: 聖約翰科技大學) is a higher education institution in Tamsui District, New Taipei, Taiwan. It is the successor institution of the former St. John's University, Shanghai and St. Mary's Hall, Shanghai. Mount Zhuzi (Chinese: 竹子山; pinyin: zhuzishān), also called Zhuzi Shan Qianfeng, is a mountain in Sanzhi District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. Located on the Tatun Volcano Group, it stands at 1,094 m, making it the tallest peak in the city.

Miranew Square (Chinese: 美麗新廣場) is a shopping mall located in Danhai New Town of Tamsui, New Taipei, Taiwan that opened on 26 February 2019. With a total floor area of around 26,400 m2 (284,000 sq ft), the medium-sized mall has 2 floors above ground and 1 floor below ground and it is the northernmost shopping mall in Taiwan. Main core stores of the mall include Miranew Danhai Cinemas and various themed restaurants.

Datun Mountain (Chinese: 大屯山; pinyin: Dà tún shān) is a mountain located in the Yangmingshan National Park. With a height of 1,092 m (3,583 ft), it is the park's 3rd tallest mountain and is located in the Tatun Volcano Group. It is one of Taiwan's two active volcanoes, with the other being on Guishan Island off the coast of Yilan.

Danhai New Town (Chinese: 淡海新市鎮; pinyin: Dànhǎi xīn shìzhèn), previously romanized as Tamhai New Town, is a large residential development in Tamsui District, New Taipei, Taiwan. It was first proposed as a new town in 1992. The project aims to create a town using 17.56 km2 of land north of central Tamsui to relocate 300,000 people from the overcrowded Taipei metropolitan area. It currently has a population of about 40,000.
