Echo Church and School

Echo is a census-designated place located in northwestern Summit County, Utah, United States. The population was 56 at the 2010 census. Echo was founded in 1854. The community took its name from nearby Echo Canyon.

The Echo Post Office, at 3455 S. Echo Rd. in Echo, Utah was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.It is a small post office building, built perhaps in 1928 or perhaps as early as 1900.It was moved about 50 feet (15 m) in early 2003.

The Echo School, located at 3441 S. Echo Rd., in Echo, Utah is a historic two-room schoolhouse that was built in 1914 and used as a school into the 1940s. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.It's a one-story building with a hipped roof in a rural setting. The building was moved to make way for a highway developed in 1955; it was then placed on a concrete foundation and otherwise improved. It was then used for community functions and as a Veterans of Foreign Wars meeting hall. It was used less in those ways from about 1970 on.It was deemed significant in 1997 as Echo's only surviving purpose-built school.

Henefer ( HEN-ə-fər) is a town in Summit County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Salt Lake City, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 766 at the 2010 census.

The Widowmaker hill climb is an outdoor motorcycle sport event held annually and sometimes semi-annually in Croydon, Utah, United States. It consists of two major professional competitions, the first being the motorcycle hill climb, which is held usually in the month of June of each year. The second competition is the snowmobile hill climb, which is usually held in the month of January. However, there are many more types of sub-competitions held, including competitions for amateur motorcyclist, ATV, and snowmobile riders. The Widowmaker has become a popular event, both on the local riding circuit, and nationally with pro-riders. This has been attributed to the mountain's difficulty level. Even in the highest levels of pro-circuit riders there have been 13 as of March 8, 2009 that have been able to summit the 1000 foot level, over the 6 years that the event has been held. On March 8, 2009, MTV's Nitro Circus visited the Widowmaker. Among the members of those who attempted to try to summit the 1000 foot mark was motocross legend Travis Pastrana. Although Travis was unsuccessful in his attempt, it was "summitted" that day for only the 13th time in the mountain's history. The first rider to reach the top was Mike Gibbons in 1970, of Grants Pass, Oregon. Gibbons' victory was filmed as part of the 1971 Bruce Brown motorcycle documentary film, On Any Sunday.

Croydon is an unincorporated community in northeastern Morgan County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Rockport Reservoir, also called Wanship Reservoir, is a reservoir along the Weber River within the Rockport State Park in southwestern Summit County, Utah, United States.

The South Round Valley School, in Morgan County, Utah near Morgan, Utah, was built in 1873 by stonemason Henry Olpin. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011. It is asserted to have elements of Classical architectural style. It is a one-room schoolhouse. It is located east of Morgan at 1925 E. Round Valley Rd. adjacent to, or on the grounds of, what is now the Round Valley Golf Course.

Rockport is a ghost town in a narrow part of Weber Valley at the mouth of Three Mile Canyon in Summit County, Utah, United States. Located 4 miles (6.4 km) south of Wanship, it was inhabited for nearly a century before the creation of Rockport Reservoir, which covered almost the whole townsite. Today, the area is home to the Lake Rockport Estates subdivision/development.

Silver Summit is a census-designated place (CDP) in Summit County, Utah, United States. Prior to the 2010 Census, the area was designated as North Snyderville Basin CDP. The population was 1,821 at the 2000 census.

The Morgan Union Pacific Depot, at 98 N. Commercial St. in Morgan, Utah, was built in 1926. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011. It has also been known as the Morgan Union Pacific Railroad Depot and as Morgan Station. It may have been designed by Gilbert Stanley Underwood. It was used as a passenger depot until 1972. A freight portion of the depot was moved to a new location. It was later used as Morgan's Planning & Zoning office.

Morgan High School is a public high school in Morgan, Utah, United States, for grades 9–12. It is the only high school in Morgan County. It was founded in 1911 and its athletic teams are known as the Trojans. Morgan School District is a small rural district located in Northern Utah. Morgan County is home to about 3100 students in five schools. Morgan High School is accredited by the Northwestern Accreditation Association.
