Barrhaven East Ward or Ward 24 (French: Quartier Barrhaven-Est) is a municipal ward in Ottawa, Ontario. It consists of the eastern half of the city's Barrhaven subdivision. The ward came into effect at the 2022 Ottawa municipal election. It will be represented on Ottawa City Council by Wilson Lo. The ward consists of the neighbourhoods of Knollsbrook, Longfields, Davidson Heights, Havenlea, Chapman Mills and Heart's Desire.The ward was created in the 2020 ward boundary review from parts of Barrhaven Ward and Gloucester-South Nepean Ward.

Beatrice station is a south-west Transitway station located in the Ottawa, Ontario, Canada suburb of Barrhaven.It is served by OC Transpo buses and opened on November 12, 2014. Beatrice Station straddles the corner of Chapman Mills Drive and Beatrice Drive in the heart of Barrhaven's shopping core and is served by a notable rapid-transit route, route 99. Two bus stops are located on Beatrice Drive directly to the north of the intersection, serving the rapid route 80, and Connexion route 277 on weekdays during peak times. Connexion route 406 is extended from/to Riverview Station via Nepean Woods Station and the Vimy Memorial Bridge to provide residents with improved connections to events at the Canadian Tire Centre in Kanata.

The Vimy Memorial Bridge (previously the Strandherd-Armstrong Bridge) is a bridge in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Completed in 2014, it crosses the Rideau River, connecting Strandherd Drive in Barrhaven and Earl Armstrong Road in Riverside South. The bridge was the 2015 winner of the Gustav Lindenthal Medal. It is named after the Battle of Vimy Ridge, as suggested by two Royal Canadian Legions in Ottawa.

The Jock River, known locally as the Mighty Jock, is a river in Ottawa and Lanark County in Eastern Ontario, Canada. It is in the Saint Lawrence River drainage basin and is a left tributary of the Rideau River. The river is named after Jacques, a French man who drowned in it in the early 19th century, and it was once known as the Goodwood River. The River is supported by a community-volunteer organization known as the Friends of the Jock River.

Stonebridge is a golf course community in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The community borders the Jock River to the north, Prince of Wales Drive to the east, Barnsdale Road to the south, and Greenbank Road to the west. Main through-roads include Jockvale and Greenbank. The Stonebridge Golf Club, an 18-hole course, snakes through the community, and borders Jockvale Road. The Stonebridge Community Association manages community events including summer and winter sports for kids.Stonebridge has several parks, many including splash pads and fields. A city-run community centre, the Minto Recreation Complex, includes a gymnasium, a weight and exercise room, two pools, two skating rinks, a walking track, and several multi-use rooms. There is also a CFL-sized artificial playing football field to the south-east of the building.Homes in the area were built by several builders, including Minto, Mattamy, Monarch, and Uniform. In July 2019, residents of Stonebridge voted in favour of a levy, to be paid by residents, to purchase golf course land owned by Mattamy Homes. The levy will stall any further development of homes on golf course land for an additional ten years.

Barrhaven West Ward (Ward 3) is a city ward in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The ward consists of the western half of the Barrhaven subdivision. It consists of the neighbourhoods of Cedarhill Estates, Orchard Estates, Strandherd Meadows, Old Barrhaven, Barrhaven Mews, Jockvale, Halfmoon Bay and Stonebridge.

Longfields is a neighbourhood in Barrhaven Ward in Ottawa, Ontario. This recent neighbourhood is located within the growing suburb of Barrhaven in the city's southwest and is bordered by Greenbank Road to the west, Strandherd Drive to the south, Woodroffe Avenue to the east, the CNR railway on the northwest and Fallowfield Road to the north.Longfields was mostly built in the early 1990s during a period of major expansion. Barrhaven's most recent high school, Longfields-Davidson Heights Secondary School, is located in this neighbourhood. Also, a station in the transitway corridor (also named Longfields) was built and opened in the Spring of 2011 [1][2]. There are also plans for major development south of Longfields with a large employment zone as well as a possible expansion of the O-Train north-south light rail project.

Gloucester Glen is a community on the Rideau River in eastern Ontario, Canada. It is located in the former City of Gloucester in the City of Ottawa. It is between the communities of Cedardale to the north and Honey Gables to the south, and bound by the Rideau River to the west and River Road to the east, adjacent to the new Riverside South subdivision. It is a very quiet community with many older homes. There are approximately only 45 houses that make up this community.

Riverview is an OC Transpo transit station located in the Riverside South community in Ottawa, Ontario. The station is located south of Earl Armstrong Road east of River Road.Riverview was officially designated as a Transitway station in the 2009 system map and was part of an eventual rapid transit corridor that would link with the existing Southeast Transitway that ends at Hunt Club Road and South Keys Shopping Centre. The corridor was intended for a previous light-rail extension towards Riverside South which was cancelled in 2006.The station is located just across from the Vimy Memorial Bridge which was completed in July 2014 and connects Riverside South with Barrhaven across the Rideau River. A rapid transit corridor along Strandherd Drive and Earl Armstrong Road is planned and would eventually connect to the Southwest Transitway near Greenbank Road and Strandherd Drive. Route 74, which previously started and ended at Nepean Woods station, was extended to/from Riverview station via the Vimy Memorial Bridge until it reverted to previous routing in June of 2021; route 99 was also extended to Barrhaven Centre station (and later CitiGate on select trips) from its previous southwest terminus here at Riverview. A park and ride facility with 155 parking spaces is operational at this station. A temporary park and ride area was built in the northwest corridor of River and Earl Armstrong until the completion of the permanent facility.A dedicated rapid transit corridor is currently zoned and protected by the City of Ottawa in its Ultimate Concept Transportation Master Plan which would connect Riverview through residential areas south of Earl Armstrong Road to the Trillium Line terminus at Limebank station. The station is not to be confused with the neighbourhood of Riverview, which is located in another part of the city.

St. Mother Teresa High School is a Catholic secondary school in the Nepean district of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It supports grades 7–12. The name of its sports team is the 'Titans'. The motto of the school is Amor et Dignitas or "love and dignity."

Chapman Mills Marketplace is a shopping centre located in the Barrhaven neighbourhood of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The borders for the shopping district are Strandherd Drive to the north, Greenbank Road to the west, Longfields Drive to the east, and Chapman Mills Drive to the south.The centre consists of 20 buildings housing 66 stores and services including a grocery store (Loblaws, its anchor tenant), big box stores (Winners, Walmart), a cinema (Cineplex) and various restaurants. The property is owned by RioCan.Marketplace station on the southwestern portion of the Transitway provides OC Transpo bus service for the centre.
